Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"Hmm... interesting."
Shinra tapped away at his keyboard some more before finally returning the sphere to Lukya.
"The sphere has no footage on it, but it has... emotion. Feelings. Strong feelings at that."
He saw the looks on their faces, so he explained further.
"A dress-sphere is made based on the memories and emotions recorded in the sphere.
While this sphere has no footage or visible memory on it, it holds strong feelings. Too intense feelings for that matter."

"And that means?"


"In short, normally the feelings contained in this sphere would overwhelm the user, much like how Yuna suddenly started dancing back in Luca."

"So it's dangerous?"

"Not quite. If the user of the dress-sphere possessed the same feelings that the sphere contained, then they would be able to use the sphere without any issue."

 

"So....it isn't like Fang then?" Yuji asked in interest and Shinra shook his head. "I do not think that is the case, Fang as you call it can think for itself and be independent while this sphere just encases the thoughts and emotions of the user, but I cannot base this on fact." He shook his head.

"I see..." Yuji cupped his chin in thought, Shugo was reading up random stuff in his free time.

 

Lukya held the sphere in her hands. "Luna said that Daichi and I now have her blessing.........................." She thought what emotion would contain inside the sphere. Yuna looked at her and smiled.

 

"I have a theory.
The link Lukya and Luna share is Daichi.
So I imagine the feelings would be based around him or towards him."

Daichi just continued to listen.


"In such a case, Lukya wouldn't be overwhelmed by Luna's emotions contained in the sphere as she already possesses such emotions or similar emotions herself.
Therefore, yes... this can be used as a Dress-Sphere. But it is only safe for Lukya to do so."

"Wow... You're pretty smart Shinra."

"I'm just a kid."

 

"That excuse again? Man, Shinra, how did Brother recruit you with that excuse?" Kari said, leaning back in her seat. Buddy said, "There's still a sphere signal in Zanarkand. Should we go it before someone decides to?"

 

Yuji's eyes widened slightly. "That place? Isn't it just plain old ruins now?" He asked as a beeping signal came from Rikku as Yuji blinked. "Is that you?" He asked and a voice was heard from her satchel.

"...Finally got a connection, damned mountains..." Dean's voice cursed as Yuji gave a small smirk. "Is that a guy in your pocket or are you packing something else?" he asked.

 

"Sorry, I gotta take this!" Rikku ran to the bar after Brother glared at her and sighed. "Hey, Dean, find something on Gagazet?"

Yuna smiled at her and sighed, "There's more to Zanarkand than you know, Yuji." Lukya smiled and nodded, the place held a special meaning to her, Yuna, Rikku, Kari, and Daichi.

 

"Zanarkand is a holy place that is guarded by Mt Gagazet itself." Maylene said, just popping up from nowhere.

 

Yuna jumped when Maylene just popped up, Aqua gave a little laugh. Kari hid a chuckle while Lukya smiled and placed her new dress into her garment grid.

 

"Yep! Did I hear you about going to Zanarkand?" Dean asked from the sphere, only audio.

Yuji looked at Yuna. "Me and Shugo never been there, we aren't fit to cross snowy mountains." YUji said.

 

"Yeah. We got a sphere signal coming from Zanarkand. Though of course I haven't forgotten what nearly happened to Kari there two years ago, Yunie, Lukya, Kari, and Daichi probably haven't forgotten either." Rikku said to the sphere, softly smiling though Dean couldn't see her.

"Than good thing we're taking the airship. When we get to Zanarkand, I'll show you and the others how I got the special help that I used during the final battle." Kari said, touching her chest. 'Also, show them the reminder of that power..........' she thought to herself.

 

"Zanarkand holds something for each of us..." Daichi said softly.
"But it's one of the reasons we are even the Gullwings anyway." he said as he looked down at the yellow Ribbon tied on the arm of his coat.

OOC: I imagine Lukya would have returned the coat to him once they got on board the airship.

 

OOC: Yes, Lukya did return it to him.

Lukya looked at her yellow ribbon as did Yuna. Kari merely touched hers. Lukya looked at Yuna, "Aren't you going to wear the replica earring and necklace Kari made? After all, 'he' said that Zanarkand was his home, and you were the only one who believed him." Yuna smiled and took the said items, putting them on.

 

"Well I'm currently there at the moment and well...just keep calm." Dean said as he heard a noise. "Ah that'll be you I'd imagine." He shut the sphere off.

 

Rikku sighed and tucked the sphere away, heading back for cockpit. Kari said, "Here we are, the holy city of Zanarkand. Lets move, Gullwings." Yuna thought to herself as she followed her team into the holy city, 'This is where we sat that night, the twelve of us. I've never talked about it. I didn't want to share my memories. I wanted to keep that feeling, this place within me forever. Now look at it.' There was some people in the area, Paine said, "A tourist attraction." "Whose idea was that?" Rikku asked, Lukya lightly cried as she looked around. Yuna recongized someone on the hill that overlooked the city and ran to him.

OOC: Someone else, please be Issaru.

 

Issaru appraoched the group. "Lady Yuna, is that you?" he asked the Gullwings as Yuji stared at the ruins.

 

"wakey wakey" said the voice of Gilgamesh

"G-Gilgamesh?" Ryo said opening his eyes and noticed Gilgamesh standing before him. "Good to see you've waken up so fast. I was beginning to think you grew weak on me" Gilgamesh said with a laugh. Ryo groaned as he got up and looked over at the man "that was quite impressive. To have been able to stay awake for so long is an impressive feat especially with the special arm I equipped on you" the old man said as Ryo looked down at his arm "thanks...Kari" Ryo said quietly as he looked back at the man "thank you so much for the arm" Ryo said bowing to the man. "not a problem. Now off you two go to get that sword or whatever" the old man said. Ryo looked over at Gilgamesh and nodded. "Off to find the sword of legends" Gilgamesh yelled and ran out with Ryo following with a smile. "so tell me how is the stability of you mind Ryo" the old man said before he left. Ryo immediately stopped in place and was a bit surprised by the man's words but calmed down "its fine and nothing to worry about" Ryo said as he continued to walk out

 

"Well, well, if isn't Lord Issaru." Kari said, crossing her arms. Yuna smiled and turned to him as Aqua hid behind her leg, "Issaru, how are you doing?"

 

"What the hell? Is the holy city meant to look like this?" Haruka asked in shock, staring around at the huge crowds.

"No, not at all!" Maylene spoke up, clearly a bit upset.

Daichi comforted Lukya before glaring at Isaaru, anger showing in his eyes. "So... what is going on here? and why don't you seem the least bit surprised by all of this Isaaru?"
Now he understood what Dean's warning over the sphere had been about.

 

"Very well Lady Yuna, this place is a toruist attarction now I am but one of the guides as this is a historical landmark for all the people of Spira, Sir Dean also arrived here."

Yuji blinked. "Well, he kinda informed us." Yuji said and Issaru spoke. "Oh? SIr Dean is currently busy with...matters." Issaru said as a crowd was obivously surrounding someone and parted away when someone emntioned Lady Yuna's arrival and they parted revaling a tired out Dean a she walked over to them.

"Question, questions, now I know being famous has it's cons." He said, slumping his arms down. "Before you all start to blame Issaru here, it wasn't him who thought all of this up." Dean said and pointed a thumb behind him. "Blame old man Cid, it's probably for profit or something." He said with a sigh although he wasn't stupid to feel an intent from Yuna, one that no-one would ever want to experience.
