Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"Heh, yup!
You got it sis." Luna said grinning.
"No need to be surprised, you look like you've just seen a gho-..." she stopped herself suddenly.
"That sounded funnier in my head." she poked her tongue out playfully and smiled warmly at Lukya.

 

Lukya shook her head and smiled. "What are you doing? Coming to check on me or something?"

 

"I just wanted to talk." her expression became enigmatic.
"look, I know already that you will anyway... but I still want to say it...
I hope you'll continue to be good to my brother. I know he isn't the easiest guy to get on with... but... you've helped bring back a little of the Daichi that I remember."
Luna floated forwards and landed on the ground.
She walked forwards but left no prints in the ground, and she put a hand on Lukya's shoulder. "You both still have some hard times ahead of you... I just...
Well, ...remember okay, that together you will both be able to overcome anything. You two are key to Spira's future.
I want you to remember that even in the hardest of times.
Have faith in your bond and your love for each other, you'll make it through." she smiled.
"Wow... that was so mushy what I just said." she laughed.

 

"No, it wasn't." Lukya said, calmly. "I will remember. I love Daichi so deeply from the bottom of my heart. When I lost my voice after killing Seymour, he was the first one there to comfort me and he believed me when I became a Maester. If anything, he was the only one who had faith in me during my trial at Baaj Temple. I will always have faith in him and our bond."

 

"You really are beautiful. I must say, I've seen you two for about two years now and you've never disappointed me once.
Daichi sure is a lucky guy and he better not forget it or I'll have to remind him about more than just why he fights!" Luna laughed and then paused.
"...Dayum. ...I never got the chance to meet the guy of my dreams. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky on the Farplane." she winked at Lukya.

"Oh and do me a favour kay? That pink furball behind you. Maylene... well, she's like me and Daichi... so I worry for her.
She looks up to you and Daichi too, so if you could help her out a little, that'd be great." she smiled and looked at the sky before she gave a big sigh.
"Anyway, I can't stick around much longer. Although I wish I could...
It's so nice talking to you.
...I'd have spoken to Daichi too... but he only recently was able to accept everything that has happened...
I, ...I..
Oh meh, he knows I'm with him anyway." she giggled. "We twins have that kind of connection ya know?" she closed her eyes and gently hugged Lukya.
"...I have faith in both of you. I love you both so much..
Look, I'm not good at this kinda thing alright? but... yeah, before I go...
I want you to know that you have my blessing kay?"
She stepped back and leaned forwards a little kissing Lukya on her fore-head, she then started to fade away into Pyreflies, giving Lukya one last smile before she vanished.
A sphere dropped at Lukya's feet, and time seemed to resume as normal. Nobody else had even noticed that anything had happened.

Maylene blushed a little, although it was hard to tell beneath her bright pink fur. Her pink tail wagged back and forth a little.
She hugged Yuna back with a smile, giggling and purring slightly. "It's all the pink, it never fails."

 

Lukya picked up the sphere and held it close. She smiled and went over to Daichi, giving him a small kiss on the cheek, whispering into his ear. "Your sister has faith in us." Yuna smiled and looked towards Kari who was coming back.

 

Dean was somewhere in the gagzet, taking a different route and he looekd at the signal that was shown. "Judging by the area, it shoudl be hidden..in here." He said a slooked at a smaller but bigger mountain of Gagzet, perhaps one of it's many forms, it was fairly big.

"There shouldn't be a avalanche by coming down this low..." He said and loaded a bullet in one his guns and pointed it at the rough suface and fired as a bullet with the force of a rocket slammed itinto it, revealing a passageway as he clicked his fingers with a free hand. "Let's see what we got here!" He said as he proceeded inside,

 

Daichi smiled at her and put his arm around her shoulders. "Heh.. I get that feeling from her too... We twins have that kind of connection, you know?" he said with a little chuckle.

 

Lukya smiled and hugged him. Yuna cleared her throat, and spoke, "Should we tell Buddy to take Haruka to Zanarkand while we walk the rest of the way there? Hopefully, there should be still a sphere there." Kari smiled and nodded.

 

Ryo and Gilgamesh sat at the table of the old man's house. The two of them were groaning as they had their head on the table and the old man watched them confused on what he should do "errr...cheer up you two?" the old man replied. "we have scoured far and wide and have yet to find anything" Gilgamesh said "well ummm Spira is big so don't give up" the old man said. Despite the old man's attempt the two of them did not cheer up. "Alright stop your god damn sulking. If you really want a good reason to sulk then I have it right here. Now get up and continue on your quest or whatever you call it" the old man yelled. Having gotten fed up he raised his fist to threaten them. Gilgamesh and Ryo immediately jumped up to their feet in fear
"y-yes sir" the both of them said.

"good now why come here other than to drop off the spheres" the old man replied. "of I nearly forgot" Ryo said walking up to him "did you get the materials?" Ryo asked "yes Enkidu sent it over a while back. I assume you want an upgraded arm with that?" the old man said sitting down. Ryo nodded but the old man closed his eyes "can't, my artificial arms are...passable but they are nothing special really. My artificial arms won't be able to use these materials" the old man said. "then what about this" Ryo said taking out the arm Kari gave him and gave to the old man who began to examine the arm "such a wonderful arm the craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. Did your girlfriend make this?" the old man asked. Upon hearing the word "girlfriend" Ryo shyly looked away "uh..yeah s-she did" Ryo said. Upon seeing this the old man laughed "alright then this arm is perfect. I will be able to upgrade it no problem" The man said as he grabbed the arm and walked away

 

Yuna knew Haruka was waiting for them and led the group back down the mountain, Lukya walked up to Kimahri and asked, "Kimahri, would it be alright if Maylene joined the Gullwings? I'd like to help her out and show her Spira with the rest of the group. But don't worry, I'll make sure she behaves at seeing new things. I thought I'd ask the elder first." She smiled.

 

"No biggie... I wasn't cold at all." she told the group as a cold breeze blew past and made her shiver and her teeth chatter. "...Much.."

"You want me with you?" Maylene asked in a bit of shock.

Kimahri looked at Maylene. "Maylene have Strong Ronso Spirit. But still cub...
Need to see beyond mountain."

"You mean I..." she said, her face lighting up.

Kimahri nodded at her, Yuna and Lukya. "Maylene be safe this way. Be with strong people and will grow stronger. But Maylene should remain Maylene, not change. Just grow."

Maylene ran forwards and hugged Kimahri. Because she was so small, espiecially compared to him she was just barely able to hug his waist. "Holy Spira and Mt Gagazet! Thank you!"

Kimahri patted her on the head, slightly behind her ears. " 'Cause Yuna no trouble."

Maylene nodded happily, her tail wagging ten to the dozen. Sure she was sad to leave Kimahri behind... but, she in truth did want to leave the mountain too.

"Help create shining future for Ronso."

She nodded again and ran to Yuna, hugging her.

Kimahri looked at Daichi and nodded at him.

"Yeah.. I'll keep an eye out for her."

 

"We'll come and visit again sometime, Kimahri!!!!!!!" Yuna smiled as she hugged Maylene back and guided her to the airship. She waved goodbye to Kimahri with Lukya, Rikku, and Kari. Then they boarded the airship when Kari noticed the sphere Lukya was holding. "Looks like the little princess got a new sphere." Lukya smiled and went to Shinra, asking him to analyze the sphere before saying aloud, "Luna gave it to me."

 

Kimahri nodded.
"Kimahri worried about Lian and Ayde. But Kimahri cannot leave mountain.
If Yuna find Lian and Ayde, bring them back to Gagazet." he told them

The others boarded the airship, bidding their goodbye's to Kimahri.

 

Yuna kept Kimahri's request in mind when she heard Lukya speak who gave her the new sphere. "But is Luna dead, gone onto the Farplane?" She asked, Rikku nodded. Lukya blushed and smiled nervously, "It's kinda hard to explain."

 

"alright that should do it" the old man said after a long while as he walked back to Ryo and Gilgamesh "ready?" the old man asked. Ryo closed his eyes calmly "Gilgamesh hold me back. Don't let me go" Ryo said as Gilgamesh nodded and grabbed him from behind as the old man walked up to Ryo and held his machina arm "endure" the man said as he ripped off the arm. Immediately Ryo yelled in intense pain and began to struggle in Gilgamesh's grip. "hold him tightly Gilgamesh" the old man yelled taking out a new arm as Ryo yelled in unbearable pain from the removal of his arm. After Gilgamesh tightened his grip on the screaming Ryo the old man walked up and began to attach the new arm. As the process took place Ryo yelled even louder as the pain increased but refused to let a single tear fall. "and.....done" the old man said as he finished. Gilgamesh immediately let go of Ryo and Ryo fell to his knees and began to pant hard. "oh your still conscious?" the old man said. "tsk something like that won't be able to knock me out" Ryo said with a smirk but suddenly collapsed unconscious

 

"It's alright. You don't have to.. if you say it's a gift from Luna. Then that's good enough for me.
The fact that she gave it to you... means that she must like you."

Haruka listened in. "I don't get it, but sure... whatev. It works for me."

Maylene ran all over the airship excitedly. Happy to explore her new home.
The roar of the machines was amazing. That was another thing she did like. She was completely different to other Ronso. She had a love for Machina and she avoided close combat due to her lack of physical strength.
Her Morph-guns had been made by herself and they worked beautifully in tandem with her Gun-magic, a little trick she herself had come up with.

 

Lukya smiled and turned to Shinra. "Think you can analyze it? And see if it can be used a dressphere?"

Lockon sighed and stayed in the engine room, working on the engines. He didn't want Maylene to distract him from his work.

 

OOC: Sorry Pro, I did ask in the other thread, but didn't get a response... I need to take over Shinra here briefly.

Shinra took the sphere and began to analyse it. He tapped away at his keyboard, but he suddenly stopped.
"... It's empty, there is no footage on it at all."
He started tapping at his keyboard even more rapidly.

 

Lukya watched and wondered what was wrong. Yuna hoped nothing was wrong while holding Aqua's machina dragon, whom she named Starlight. Kari sighed and turned around.
