Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Lukya knew the look in Garik's eyes, she had seen too many times before. It was the look of hatred to her for being related to the man who killed many of the Ronso and simply being a Guado. She took Daichi's hand and headed for the mountain path. Yuna looked at the pink Ronso and smiled, taking her hand.

 

Dean watched as the Gullwings proceed to their destination and he dug a hand in his pocket and pulled out something like a scanner. "Glad Rikku went with them...I got a signal of something here." He thought and left his monowheel and stared at Kimarhi as he approached him. "Still the same as ever Kimarhi." He said to him.

 

Lukya breathed a sigh of relief as they walked to the monuments of the summoners who died on the mountains. She walked up to one that had a yellow bandanna tied onto it and bowed. Kari smiled at them and walked onto a little farther, coming up to a statue of a beautiful woman. She sighed at it and placed flowers in front of it, doing the prayer and bowed.

 

"I'm glad to see you have come to visit me" said the voice of Salina as she suddenly appeared in front of Kari. She had a smile on her face unlike the last time they met

 

"Your brother requested if we came to the mountain, than I should pay my respects, Lady Salina." Kari said, looking up at her and standing up. She smiled at her and took her Celestial weapons. "Thank you for your blessing."

 

"I am very grateful for what you have done. Thank you for saving my brother" Salina said giving a bow

 

Kari smiled, gently touching her chest and bowed back. "It was my honor as a guardian, my lady."

 

"so how is Ryo? off spreading trouble I pressume?" Salina asked sighing at the thought of what her brother has gotten himself into

 

Kari smiled and sighed, 'She deserves to know.' Taking a deep breath, Kari said, "When you gave Ryo the map to the legendary blade, he underwent a great trial with the cost as the loss of his left arm. I just recently gave him a Machina arm to replace it."

 

Salina sighed sadly but smiled "I know I know...Ryo already came and showed me his new machina arm. Although he complained how crappy the version he had he said he was happy with it" Salina said and suddenly looked down depressed "sometimes I wonder if giving him the map was the right thing to do. He found his dream sword and used it to defeat Sin...but now he is degrading" Salina said to herself unaware of how loud she said it to herself

 

"Kimahri still Kimahri. Dean still Dean." Kimahri said to him.

Daichi bowed his head towards his sisters monument.
He brushed off some snow, and lay a set of flowers that he had bought from Barkeep before leaving the airship.
"We said we'd be back... and... here we are. Luna..."
He did the prayer.

Maylene smiled brightly at Yuna, "It's an honour to accompany you Lady Yuna!"

 

"Is there no way to stop it from happening?" Kari asked, concerned. "I want to help him, despite he's with a crazy clown now."

Lukya smiled and nodded, putting her hand over Daichi's. "It's my pleasure, Maylenne." Yuna said, smiling and watching two of her former guardians. She already had a feeling where Kari was.

 

Salina was surprised at what Kari said and looked at her "don't worry its not as serious as I said. Probably traveling with that Gilgamesh fellow is what he needs" Salina said

 

Daichi stood slowly.
"I... want to thank you again. For everything... I would never have made it this far if not for you...
You've been watching this whole time... I'm sure.
... I love you sis."

Haruka's teeth chattered as she waited at the base of the mountain. She didn't have anything warmer to change into... so she had just left the airship as she was.

"So you grew up with Elder Kimahri huh?" Mayleene said to Yuna.
"He tells us kids stories about when High Summoner Yuna was younger, and about your pilgrimage...
He's such a kind, powerful and amazing Elder..."

 

Lukya stood up with him and bowed, crying. "Thank you so much............."

Kari sighed and nodded. "I'll come and visit again soon, my lady." She bowed.

"Maylenne, that's great. I have a request. Please accept Daichi and Lukya's relationship. And accept Lukya, please. She's been through a lot because of her brother." Yuna said.

 

"Ryo can be troublesome so once again thank you for taking care of him" Salina said with a big smile "you don't have to be so formal around me" Salina said as she dissapeared into pyreflies "after all one day you might actually be my sister-in-law" Salina's voice echoed with a laugh

 

Daichi held Lukya for a second before turning and starting to walk away, he over-heard Yuna and Maylene's conversation slightly.

"Huh? What're you talking about? Of course I approve." Maylene said to the former-Summoner.
"You may not have noticed.. but I'm like Daichi. I'm half Human, half Ronso too. I've had to put up with similar to what Daichi and Luna did...
in fact Elder Kimahri has been the one protecting me... since the others view Daichi as a traitor, and well... I'm like him, there isn't a lot of love for Half-breeds like us at the moment... not that there was much before.
But you see, back then... 2 years ago when Daichi fought alongside Elder Kimahri and proved himself to Biran and Yenke and the others... for a brief time... I saw hope for halflings like me..
The only reason I survived what happened is because Biran and Yenke themselves..." The petite pink Ronso paused and let a tear drop from her eye before continuing.
"They... made me run away. They said that 'Half-Ronso just as strong... maybe hope for future.'
...and so... I lived because they died...
The fact is though... if it wasn't for Daichi, I would have lost hope for halflings like me. Sure... the others might regard him as a traitor now... but... to me,
Daichi is a hero... and if he wants to be with Lukya, that's good enough for me. She has nothing to do with her Brother's sins... and I know she has been trying really hard.
If anything, I want to help and support them.
I might be young... I might be a Half-Breed.. I might be puny. And I might be pink!
BUT! I'm not blinded like the others of my tribe are.." Maylene said, getting pumped up more and more as she made the list.

Everything seemed to slow around everyone else suddenly, and a voice only Lukya could hear called out to her, she was seemingly unaffected by whatever was happening,
so to the others... they wouldn't notice anything going on right now with Lukya.
"Hey, Lukya."

 

Yuna smiled and nodded, hugging her. "Thanks. And you're so cute!!!!!!!!!" Rikku smiled and laughed.

Lukya smiled at Maylenne's words when she noticed something. Lukya looked at Daichi and the others who were suddenly moving very slowly. She heard the voice and looked around, "Hello? Who's there?"

Kari had a amused shock on her face as Salina faded into pyreflies. 'S-s-sister-in-law?! I still have to wait for Ryo to 'pop the question' first! Someone's thinking ahead.' She thought to herself.

 

An image of a half Ronso, half Human girl around Daichi's age materialised out of pyreflies over the memorial. She looked a lot like Daichi but more feminine.
"I think you know." The girl said to Lukya, a little amused.

 

Lukya looked at her in surprise before remembering the one Daichi often spoke of. "Luna...................."
