Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"You two okay?" Kari asked, walking up to them. Yuna ran to Shugo and picked him up.

 

"More like is Shugo okay, he's probably exhausted himself, his body can only do so much, I'm more of the fighter of us two, I suppose you have questions regarding that form." Yuji said in reponse.

Shugo lay, eyes closed.

 

Daichi had watched until now, but he looked at Gilgamesh for a second... "Sorry, but we'll finish this later." he told him and walked in front of the downed boys and the others who had gone to check on them.
He looked at Eternal and pointed a sword at him. "...What's your purpose here?" he asked.

 

Lukya pulled out a Hi-Potion and used it on Shugo. Yuna held him in her arms.

 

"I am but a warrior, seeking to battle the full power behind the grid that combines two powers into one but sadly, they haven't even reached my expectations, I shall fight them until they have grasped the potenial ebhind it, what that power is, I do not know but my eyes and thoughts are ever so focused upon it, I'll take my leave." He said and pulled the cloak over him as he vanished.

Shugo remained asleep as Yuji spoke. "Relax, he's also mentally exhausted and perhaps, trying to regather his senses...Fang is...our seventh Sphere, it's has a will of it's own and after we used it for the first time, Shugo promised he would never use Fang again as it disappeared for perhaps a year now because he felt his humanity was being taken away just by using it, Fang can change the warrior we become, focusing on doing anything to protect itself, a warrior that eliminates all. Yuji explained.

 

Daichi looked at Yuji after Eternal disappeared.
"...Reminds me of me... when I used to lose control of my anger.
But... Fang is a part of you two whether you like it or not it seems...
and Eternal won't let you rest for long either.
You're gonna have to learn to take control of that power.
Focus on something or someone, and let that guide you." he told him as he looked at Lukya for a second.

 

Lukya looked at Daichi and smiled at him. Yuna carried Shugo back to the airship. Kari and the others followed, Kari smiled at Ryo and waved before the airship left.

 

RYo waved back "make sure to pay your respects to Salina if your ever at Gagazett. She would like that alot. The next time we meet your spheres are ours" Ryo yelled with a smile as Kari left and walked up to Gilgamesh

"well that was bizarre...and that is coming from me" Gilgamesh said crossing his arms

Ryo couldn't help but laugh "alright next destination is the old man's place. We have a new base for an arm and the materials we need to make it great" Ryo said with a smile

 

"No...Fang is...Shugo's sphere, he has to accept it first but whenever that day will come, I'm not sure, he'll never use Fang without worrying about his humanity being stripped away, you may know what it feels like since your Half-Ronso but us humans cannot comprehend it so we are frightened by it, you may of controlled it but for Shugo, that's more of a challenge so don't talk like you know him." Yuji said and proceeded inside.

"We're just humans and we are terrified at the thought of becoming we aren't meant to be, your Ronso side deals with the instinctal urge to run wild and you aren't scared of it at all because it's a part of you." Yuji finished as he walked to the lounge.

 

Daichi followed him and put a hand on his shoulder, spinning him around.
"You think I'm not scared of it at all?
The amount of times I lost control and nearly hurt someone I cared for... ask anyone of Team Besaid about the first time I met them on the Thunder Plains. Or the time on Gagazet when... pah, never mind.
...I've always hated the Ronso part of me kid. I've always been afraid of it, so yeah... maybe I shouldn't talk like I know bookworm over there.
But then, take your own advice and don't you dare talk like you know me." and with that Daichi gave him a small shove and walked away, down to the elevator and the engine room.

 

Kari thought about what Ryo said before they left, and sighed, leaning back in her seat. Somewhere on the airship were her Celestial Weapons given to her by Salina, she smiled. "Next spot, Gagazet. To visit Kimarhi." Yuna smiled and going to the bar/relaxation room. She laid Shugo on a bed and sat on the couch.

Lukya stood by Shinra and asked him, "Shinra, can you anaylze this sphere? Tromell gave it to me in Macalania, and he thinks it's from Seymour. I want to be sure. So, can you?"

Lockon was in the engine room, checking the engines. He didn't have his machina accessorizes on him, so Daichi could clearly see he was part Guado. Lockon looked and saw Daichi, "What are you doing here, Daichi?"

 

Shinra looked at Lukya. "I'll look into it now, but I've been fascinated by that white sphere for a moment, can sphere's actually be alive?" he questioned hismelf before taking the sphere and started work. "There, should be able to play it now." he said and pressed play.

Yuji sat within the lounge at the bar as he thought back to that moment.

~Flashback (OOC: Yes, a flashback!)~

Yuji and Shugo were underground somewhere as they wore the belt and Shugo looked so much different than before, he instead wore everythign white and hsi hair being brushed to a side wildly as nearby him was Yuji, wearing ruined clothes of an outfit being a brown jacket with a red shirt, a torn white fedora at the front, and black trousers with brown shoes as the small Fang sphere growled in response.

"W-What happened?" Yuji aske,d obivously confused as SHugo stared at the new Sphere. "We'll talk about it later, right now, we must escape Bevelle, we'll use this guy to escape so, let's switch." he said as Yuji's purple sphere with his side vanished and took it's place on SHugo's belt and Shugo changed the Fang sphere to it's sphere mode and transformed, Yuji falling onto the ground, eyes closed as the new warrior let out a cry as some Bevelle soliders came forward as he charged at them, with a larger wrist jagged edge and a shadowed figure was about to attack them until he turned around and one fo the shoulder's became larger and he threw it asa boomerang, damaging the said being before the warrior hoisted Yuji's form up and espaced.

~End Flashback~

"What reason would Fang have to reappear after not being seen for a whole year?" Yuji thought and sighed lightly.

 

Kari watched the sphere with Lukya. The screen showed a image of Seymour in the clearing, he looked at the screen, "Sister, if you are watching this, then I think you should know that I'll be different when we meet the next time. All I have to say is I'm proud to have watched you grow into the young lady you are. Your skills with a bow are incredible. I am glad to have been your brother." The screen went black, Kari smiled and held her close. "So, can we use this as a Dressphere, Shinra?"

 

Daichi regarded the Guado in front of him.
"...Just needed to get away. This seemed as good a place as any...
The sound of the engines... the hum of the machines. Something about it is... calming. They all work together perfectly in tandem... Like a team I remember very well."

Haruka was on the top of the airships deck. She felt like she needed some air...
She wasn't sure what had happened in Bevelle... but she knew she never wanted to go back there if she could help it. She just had a horrible feeling about the place.
But what if it holds answers?... I'll have to go back and find out at some point..

 

"I understand." Lockon smiled and looked at the engines. "I know what you mean. I always found this better than studying for Yevon. I hope you and Lukya will be able to show the other races in Spira the relationship you share."

 

Daichi smiled a little despite his quiet anger at Yuji. He quite liked Lockon.
"...Spira will notice when it opens it's eyes.
Me and Lukya aren't doing anything special in particular to be noticed. We just... well...
Our relationship might be something others consider to be odd.. but in reality, there isn't really any difference.
If you want to be with someone you care for... then I say don't let Spira stop you.
The people and other races will see that one day, I'm sure.

 

"I see." Lockon smiled and stretched. "In case you're wondering, I'm half-Guado, half-Human, but I was a scholar for Yevon before becoming a engineer. I still think Brother was a bit quick to make me the bodyguard of Yuna." He sweatdropped, thinking back. Though he wanted to fulfill his late Human father's wish of traveling Spira with a celebrity, he didn't expect it to come true so quickly.

 

Shinra nodded and began to type on his computer and ahnded it to Lukya. "There, it's done." He began to type again, deep into his world.

Yuji leaned back into what there was of his seat as Shugo was up in one of the beds. "Would Shugo ever accept Fang's power or refuse it? I'm sane through that transformations because I already did accept it." Yuji thought, he couldn't just go right up to his partner and orderhim to accept it, Shugo had to accept it on his own terms.

 

Lukya smiled, holding the new dressphere and changed into it. She wore a updated version of her original outfit two years ago, and held her brother's blessing in her hands. She ran to the elevator and rode it to the engine room. She ran up behind Daichi and hugged him.

 

Daichi didn't budge forward an inch as Lukya hugged him from behind. He had gotten used to this kind of greeting from her now.
He turned in her hug and faced her.
He smiled as he saw what she was wearing. "Heh... That familiar look suits you."
