Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Kari smiled, grabbing her hand claw and her katana. "Yeah, right, clown boy! Daichi and I will show you the might of the Gullwings!"

 

"I had a feeling you would try and pull something like this." Daichi smirked.
He already had both of Twin LionHeart drawn and was next to Kari.
"I'll let you handle him of course." Daichi told her.

 

Kari smiled and nodded. Rikku sighed from the dock and cheered for Kari. Lukya cheered loudly for Daichi to win.

 

"oh what interesting blades you wield. Now witness the strength of the mighty GILGAMESH" Gilgamesh said as two long katana appeared in his hand and jumped forward to slash at Daichi

Ryo smirked as he placed his blade on his shoulder and jumped forward towards Kari

Daichi blocked the attacks with ease.
He smirked. "Not bad for a Clown... but you hear that?" he referred to the sounds of cheering coming from Rikku and Lukya.
"My girl is cheering for me... that means I can't lose here.", his smirk changed to a grimace as he sent Gilgamesh flying back.

Kari held her katana in front of her to block the incoming attack from Ryo. She smiled and pushed him back. She gripped her hand claw and ran toward him, swinging her arm. Yuna and Aqua had joined in the cheering of their teammates, Brother watched uninterested.

 

Gilgamesh flew back but landed his feet against a wall "your girl may be cheering you on but my burning spirit is was cheering me on and strengthens me to fight" Gilgamesh yelled as he bounced off the wall and flew straight at Daichi and twirled his sword

Ryo jumped back and sidestepped to avoid the claw and slashed downwards at her

 

Kari held her katana above to block the attack. She jumped back, and tossed a shuriken at him.

 

Daichi side-stepped the attack and drove his knee into Gilgameshes gut.
"Too bad, 'cause you know what they say?... A Ronso's fighting spirit is the one that burns brightest!"
He accessed he Ronso Rage abilities and used Thrust Kick to send his opponent flying, then he jumped in the air and yelled out "CELESTIAL CROSS!" slashing his swords in a cross slice in front of him, and releasing beam slashes of Red energy towards his opponent while his opponent still flew through the air.
He hadn't used the move for so long, but it still felt natural to him. It felt good to be in a fight like this again. He could feel his natural instincts taking over.

 

Gilgamesh spun in the air with his swords "overwhelming force" Gilgamesh yelled as a tornado covered him as he spun and blocked the attack

Ryo jumped backwards and then ran forward, slashing away the shuriken

 

"Hmph... so the Clown has some tricks." Daichi muttered.
He merged the hilts of Twin LionHeart into the double bladed staff and charged forwards "SPIRAL BARRAGE!" he roared and started whirling the blades rapidly around himself in a spiral motion.

 

Yuji walked forward. "...Shugo." he said the belt appeared and he opened the belt as the transformation took place with ruby red for the left and blue for the right as he held the gun and fired a bullet at Gilgamesh's exposed back. "You didn't forget about little old me did you?" Yuji's voice asked and Shugo's "The clown always dances, but the earl never succeeds." he said.

"...What the hell were you reading, poetry?" yuji asked as the red hand cupped an imaginry chin. "I wanted to give it a try, how was it?" he asked and Yuji's voice sighed. "...I'm not a peotic man and neither are you, now, focus!"

"Indeed, so Gilgamesh, let me ask you... are you a man from another world or a legend?" SHugo's voice asked and mentally, Yuji facepalmed his forehead. "Damnit Daichi, I told you I'm holding you responsible! Shugo!"

"Yes yes..." Shugo trailed off as more bullets had fire encased within them, excelling their power as the aim was pretty good, not hitting allies at least

 

Daichi spun around and blocked Yuji's attack in place of Gilgamesh.
"Sorry, I appreciate the help. But this is a fight between us two." Daichi told him and Shugo, and he charged at Gilgamesh to continue his Spiral Barrage.
Daichi still held his honour in high regard, he just couldn't let a fight like this turn into a 2 vs 1, especially if it involved a back attack against his opponent.

 

"I appreciate your show of respect. But now it is not the time to talk" Gilgamesh said as his two katana disappeared and two Naginata appeared in his hands. He twirled them around in front of himself and charged forward

 

Both attacks collided with each other, rapid whirling strikes hitting rapid strikes. Neither fighter budged an inch as they continued their relentless assaults against each other, sparks flying as the blades made contact with each Naginata.

Kari sheathed her katana for the moment and did some strange hand movements before she vanished, she reappeared behind Ryo and slashed at him.

 

Yuji's voice sighed. "Honor doesn't even matter when you have so many enemies surrounding you, tell me that when you realise not everyone sees things that way you do." Yuji thought as something came hurlling at him and he imeediately switch the Trigger SPhere for Metal as the gun vanished and he slammed it against the obect and flung it aside, casuing a nearby explosion.

"The hell was that?" Yuji's voice asked as he scanned the area and there standing was a caped figure, holding a dagger as he charged at him with unatural speed. "He's fast!" He thought as the brought the staff to defend himself just in time as the attack connected and a big smoke taken over the two combatant's as the red and sliver clad warrior was flying through the air and crashed into the ground and the transformation broke, revealing Yuji in a battered form as the purple sphere was left inside.

"The hell, he just connected with us and quickly changed tactics with that much force and broke our transformation!?" he thought as teh figure stood there with it's yellow crystal eyes staring at him.

"How disappointing... and I thought I'd have a worthy challenge..." He said and Yuji examinded him now he was close and his eyes widened, the guy had a doublegrid belt but with only one slot. "Who the hell are you?" He asked and he spoke. "Eternal...that's my name... now where's the once who connects to Spira?" He asked and Yuji's eyes widened. "Shugo?!" he thought as the his partner exited and saw the being. "Yuji!"

"Get back in there Shugo!"He shouted out but the figure turned and walked towards him. "...Come." he said and swung his dagger, firing projectiles from it at Shugo but they were deflected by something as a small dinosaur stood there, something like a toy.

"It's...!" Shugo was surprised and Yuji finished it. "Fang?!" he said as it leapt up and SHugo looked at it. "I don't want to use it...but..." he thought as Yuji cried out. "Don't use it Shugo! Run away or I'll cut off our partnership!"

Shugo held out a hand as Fang stood in it. "Forgive me Yuji, but we have no choice, even though I promised to never use this form again because of what it does." Shugo said and spoke through the comm. "I want everyone to stay away from me and don't try to aid me, I cannot...promise your safety." he said as the Joker Sphere vanished from Yuji's left side and reappeared in the belt of Shugo's and he slot it in as Fang changed into a sphere-like shape and he slot it in the empty side.

"Stop! Shugo!" Yuji said as Shugo spoke. "Transform." he said as he forced it open as Yuji's eyes closed and fell to the ground as Shugo's form became covered in the same wind but then shattered as there stood a white and purple clad warrior with jagged ends and he stood there before letting otu a loud scream briefly before charging at the caped man as one of the wrist ends took on a larger state and brought it against the dagger as the fight soon became instinct.

 

Ryo slashed at Kari but missed as she disappeared. Closing his eyes Ryo twirled his sword arouns and placed it on his back "your going to have to try harder than that" Ryo said looking over his shoulder at Kari with a grin but upon hearing an explosion his sight shifted to the new fight taking place


"bwahahahaha this is a true fight" Gilgamesh yelled happily as his weapons clashed with Daichi's "whoa whoa whoa" Gilgamesh yelled as he sudeednly jumped backwards upon hearing an explosion and turned to face the new fight taking place "whats going on there" Gilgamesh said

 

Kari turned and watched the new fight. Yuna and the others jumped and watched the fight with them. Yuna looked very concerned for Yuji and Shugo.

 

The berserk warrior swung wildly at Eternal who simply evaded with ease and Yuji's voice was heard as the left eye flashed, a reverse of the usual with SHugo's voice prodviding the flash. "Oi, calm down Shugo! Oi!" He sad as the warrior kept fighting, not hearing his words as he grabbed Eternal's arm to punch him as the warrior jumped back, cape brushing against the ground.

"I see! This is Shugo when he's afraid!" Yuji's voiced stated as Eternal stood there. "You have power yet you do not know how to control it..." He said and turned around. "What a pathehic sight, I thought I finally found my best opponent yet he is nothing more than a feral beast." he pulled the cloak over him and the berseak warrior let otu a cry again as Yuji could guess he'll aim for anything that moved "Damn it! I got no choice!" he said as he forcibly took control of the purple arm with brought the belt up, struggling for control and removed the purple sphere as the transformation shattered, Shugo lying on the ground as Yuji's eyes opened.

Fang however, ejected itself and ran off, disappearing from sight.
