Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Daichi regarded New Yevon's new leader.
"Hmph... I wonder, how different this Yevon will be from the old one. First things first.. Are you unsent or not?" Daichi said distastefully.

Haruka clutched at her head a little more and leant against a wall for support, she didn't know what was wrong, but she had a horrible feeling about this place. Everyone else seemed fine though...

 

"Not to worry. I can understand if your feelings and Lady Yuna's feelings of Yevon are mixed." Baralai said, bowing at them, he looked at Daichi and said, "I am still a living person." Lukya asked, "So, you're the chairman's son?" "Ah. As it happens, the chairman has recently resigned. As did his son, the praetor. They were trying to take too much power. We had to ask them to leave. Now the younger members run the party-by mutual consensus, of course." Baralai said, before realizing the one who asked the question. "Lady Lukya. It's a honor."

 

Ryo sighed "well at least New Yevon is at least bearable now. That old man and his son were ticking me off" Ryo said "at least you seem reasonable" Ryo said to Baralai

 

Daichi stood closer to Lukya, just slightly in front of her. He didn't take his eyes off of Baralai.

 

Lukya looked surprised as Baralai looked at Ryo, saying, "Thank you," then turned his attention back to her. She asked, "How did you know my name?" "Something happened to me two years ago that brought me into the care of your older brother, Seymour," Baralai said, getting on a knee and bowing. "He spoke of you frequently. I nearly expected to meet a little girl, but you are a young lady. And you are the only person to become a Maester and live after Yevon's fall."

 

"So what is it you wish to discuss? You already know me and Yuna's reply so I see noting to discuss" Ryo said to Baralai

 

"If that is the case, I'd best get going. There are matters that require my attention." Baralai said, standing up and doing the prayer. He left, Kari crossed her arms and wondered, "What happened to the guy that he met Seymour?"

 

"you shouldn't dwell on it" Ryo said closing his eyes and scratching the back of his head "whats done is done. If you wanna know just ask the guy" Ryo said lazily walking towards Gilgamesh

 

Kari shrugged her shoulders and nodded. "Next time we meet, I will see how your left arm is doing. Oh, and thank you." She smiled at him, and put a slight emphaize on the 'will' in her sentence. She touched the sack on her hip and sighed.

 

Ryo opened his eyes and looked over at her and the sack she placed her hand on "I see you managed to get my gift" Ryo said

 

Kari smiled and nodded, reaching into the sack and pulling the gem. "It's certainly different from the other gifts you sent me. Looks very rare. And beautiful."

 

Ryo turned away "er...yeah it took a very long time to find and it also wasn't very easy to obtain. I meant to give it to you in person but you guys ran off with that crappy sphere on Mt.Gagazett before I could" Ryo said. All though it was hard to tell, he was a bit disappointed he didn't give her in person and that she ran off so fat on Mt.Gagazett

 

Kari stared at him and sighed. "I made you a Machina arm, but I couldn't find you anywhere. I still have it if you want it." She sighed, it seemed she really wanted to give him the Machina replacement for his left arm which he lost two years ago to his clone.

 

"you...made me an arm?" Ryo said looking down at his left side

 

Daichi had seen the Machina arm that Kari had been referring too. After all, it was he two years ago who had come up with the suggestion in the first place.
He did notice too though that Ryo had folded his arms (although his left arm had been hidden) earlier.
He looked at Haruka and noticed she wasn't feeling too great, he gave Lukya and Yuna a gentle nudge and gestured to Haruka.

 

Yuna and Lukya nodded, heading over to Haruka and gently guiding her back to the airship. Kari nodded and asked Rikku to get it from the airship. Rikku got it and gave it to her, then waited on the airship with the others. Kari held the arm in her hands, it looked as though she had put her heart and soul into making it.

 

Ryo looked down at the arm and smiled. The truth was that he had already gotten a new arm but seeing how hard she worked on it he didn't want to hurt her "its wonderful" Ryo said

 

Daichi chose to wait outside along with Kari.
"It's truly a work of art. You can tell how hard she worked on it..."

 

"It's alright if you won't use it." Kari said. "I just want you to have it." She held it out to him, looking at him. "Here's my gift to you."

 

Ryo grabbed it and smiled "thanks" Ryo said as he put it away but suddenly drew out his sword and pointed it at her "now don't go thinking I will let you get away" Ryo said with a grin

Gilgamesh joined him by his side "your spheres are as good as ours" Gilgamesh said
