Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"Hello," Yuna said, with a simple wave.

 

Gippal raised an eyebrow. Well... the one that was showing anyway.
"You, uh, here for an interview?
The great high summoner wants an interview?" he asked in slight disbelief.

 

"Former summoner." Yuna corrected him. Lukya sighed and Kari smiled.

 

Yuji took time to inspect the man until a bang was heard within one of the temple rooms, like a small explosion and a familar voice was heard. "I told you, don't accelerate the throttle! I know it's a rare thing to find and it's even rarer to find the parts to even fix it!"

"Sounds like someone's in a bad mood." Yuji suggested.

 

Daichi's ears twitched at the sound of the familiar voice.

"Hm. All right, follow me."

The group follows Gippal outside of the temple. Outside, The group
approaches the bridge where Gippal is.
"Never been this close to a celebrity before. I could get used to this." Gippal joked.

 

"That's nice, but let's not!" Yuna said, holding her hands up. Kari facepalmed, and said in Al Bhed, "E cfayn oui hajan caas du lryhka, Gippal." Rikku sighed and nodded, "Cu dnia, cu dnia..........."

 

Gippal laughed at the comments in Al-Bhed.
"Well, if it isn't Cid's girl and the other one. How you been?" he joked, purposefully pretending to have forgotten their names.

 

Kari smiled and shrugged her shoulders while Rikku shouted, "Hey, I have a name!" "You should thank her, Gippal." Kari said. "Besides, if it wasn't for her and me, you won't be here right now." She wondered if Gippal also knew her secret about the Final Aeon.

 

Yuji listened to this Gippal, he seemed to be...what was the word, a fliter?

Smoke came out one fo the room as Dean came out coughing as did other Al Bhed. "E dumt oui du ayca ib uh ed! huf fa ryja du napiemt dryd rujanlnyvd'c ahkeha huf!" he said fluently as some protested.

"Hu, fa'na hud icehk 'dryd', ev fa'na milgo, fa sekrd pa ypma du nabyen dra ahkeha, pid haqd desa, dyga untanc caneuicmo!" Dean said with irriated and another spoke about another subject.

"Ugyo, E ghuf E's Ym Prat yht zicd y risyh yht hajan syo silr aqbaneahla fedr machina, pid draca drehkc yna ceseymn du cusadrekh pylg eh so rusa, cu ihmacc oui fyhd du gelg as udi uv dra days, cbayg ib!" Dean said and hands were up and he sighed. "Fine, be that way, just don't expect that hovercraft to be running anytime soon." He said as he came out of the temple, a bit dirty and smelled of oil.

"I swear to the sun, how the hell is that group suppsoed to work together with the people, some grudge." He said before he saw Gippal. "Oi Gippal, Tell your men I quit from this, if they're gonna keep refusing to listen to my suggestions, they may as well go and dig up ruins in Bikanel Island." Dean said as he didn't notice the Gullwings.

 

Daichi smirked. He had heard right.

"Dean!" Haruka called out noticing the blue haired man.

Gippal looked back at Dean. "Come on Dean, perseverance never hurt anyone." he told him,
he then turned to Kari and Rikku, "Heh, Yeah Kari, I heard you played a particularly interesting part in the final battle." he smirked as patted her head teasingly.
"Brother doin' okay?" he asked Rikku.

 

"Dean, you work with the Machine Faction?" Rikku said, looking at him. Kari smiled, thinking, 'So he does know,' before answering him, "Same as ever. Buddy's around, too." Yuna smiled and held Aqua's hand.

 

Dean heard Hotaru and Rikku as he looked at them briefly. "Hey and not exactly Rikku." He said quickly to acknowledge them and he did something no-one would of every thought they'd see him do, he grabbed Gippal by the cuuf of his clothes and stared him. "Tell your buddies here to at least accept they aren't outcasts in Spira anymore! They even blown up the godamned hovercraft's engines when I told them not to accelerate it too hard!" he said and sighed, letting Gippal go.

"...I've had enough here, I offer my assistance and all I get is glares, don't even bother giving me Gil, it's nto even worth the effort." he said and entered the nearby inn

 

"Wow... you sure picked one hell of a guy to fall for Rikku." Gippal said, scratching the back of his head.

"Same as ever is right." Gippal said to Kari as he head about Buddy, suddenly his glance shifted to Paine. "You!" he exclaimed in shock.

"What was that about? He always like that?" Haruka asked the others, as she watched Dean walk off and enter the Inn.

 

"Paine." She said simply as ever. "Nice to meet you." Rikku glared at Gippal for his comment, Kari sweatdropped, 'Dean's worst fear, a pissed off Rikku. Good thing he isn't here........'

 

Gippal ignored Rikku. He had been joking anyway, he knew Dean was a good guy.
He just continued to stare at Paine... like he couldn't believe it was her. The way she responded like she didn't know him confused him.. "Uh-huh?"
Meh, he figured he'd go along with it for old time's sake to help her out as it was clear she didn't want to show a connection between the two of them.

 

"We're here for the interview." Paine said, remembering him of why they were here with him in the first reason. Yuna smiled and held Aqua close to her.

 

Yuji shook his head. "I don't think so, last time I met him, he made children laugh." he commented to Hotaru's question. "Then again, only Yuna and her guardians seem to know him inside and out."

Dean was washing hsi face of the oil and turned a tap off, Djose's temple's electricty never affected teh water supply and he breathed. "If I had Skeith, I'd scare those arrogant Al Bhed..." he grumbled and sighed. "...Geez, I need a holiday..." He mumbled to himself, he'd fancy a nice trip to the beach in this case or better yet, a calm landspace but the Calm lands were booming with business now, Blitzball was still running and a weird coin game as well, Spira was getting ideas at least.

"As long as there's no gameshow where you fight monsters, find the correct door among 12 aothers and finally get though a different door with slight differences." Dean thought as he remembered that time. "...Sorry, and it's off to the punishment round? Dean thought, that annoucer woman's voice was so smug and cheerful, he'd bet everyone at that time wanted to shoot her...well Rebecca maybe.

 

"Right...the interview."

After the interview...
"You sure you wanna dig? 'Cause we're talking about the desert, ladies and gents.
Not exactly a picnic."

 

Lukya smiled and said, "We're sure." Basically everyone in the group knew Lukya was just grabbing the opportunity to show how helpful the representative of the Guado would be, and that in turn would show the people of Spira how the Guado really were.

 

"Ah... of course. Lukya, leader of the Guado people, it's an honour." Gippal said, he was being serious, but his tone still sounded friendly in his teasy sort of way.
"All right, you're hired. Welcome."
