Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Lukya finished her drink and nodded. She thought back to when she first fell for Daichi and they confessed their feelings, she smiled. She got off her seat and smiled at Yuji, "Thanks for the talk, Yuji. I feel a little better." She went to the deck of the airship and sat beside Daichi, looking out at the horizon. She could see the stadium at Luca.

 

"You seem happier... lighter almost." Daichi said, reading her as he took hold of her hand.
"Maybe I should head down to the bar once in a while... or was it the company there and not Barkeeps excellent drinks?" he asked.

 

Lukya smiled. "It was both. Yuji and I talked about..... certain things. But, dilly-dally, shilly-shally......" She smiled and sighed, feeling the breeze. During the two past years, she had been trying hard to keep her promises and hoped she would be able to fulfill them.

 

Daichi chuckled slightly. "I still say that little quote of yours is gonna catch on." he smiled.
dilly-dally, shilly-shally... he gave a slight chuckle again at the thought of it.

He looked at his beautiful and perfect girlfriend.
He knew she was thinking about the promises she had made and whether she would be able to fulfill them.
He gave her hand a gentle encouraging squeeze as he watched the stadium in Luca come closer and closer.
He knew that she could and would do it. He still continued to have faith in her like he always had done. She would make things happen, and he would be there every step of the way helping and protecting her, watching her succeed and grow up into a more magnificent person than she already is.
Loving her, forever.

 

Lukya smiled at the squeeze and the airship hovered above the bridge to the Mi'ihen Highroad. There was a crowd of people cheering when Yuna and Lukya appeared, a man shouted, "Lady Yuna, your concert was incredible!" "Lady Lukya, you were amazing!!!!!" Another shouted, a kid asked, "Would you sign this, please?"

"Single file, no pushing! The Gullwings, at your service!" Rikku shouted, Lukya sweatdropped and shook the hands of the people. Yuna sighed and walked to the railing, thinking, 'I couldn't bring myself to tell them it was just an impostor. The whole mess started with the Garment Grid... That's the invention that lets us harness the dresspheres' power.'

 

Daichi gave a small smirk saying to no one in particular:
"I imagine it's not that easy being as famous as those two."

 

Kari stood beside Lukya to calm her down and told people to line up if they wanted her autograph. She lied to them, saying she was her manager and she had a lot on her mind. She managed to get Lukya by herself as she spoke to the crowd.

Lukya sighed and smiled at Daichi. Because of her position as Guado leader, she was supposed to be part of the concert. But she knew it was a mission to get the Garment Grid and hid a laugh when Yuna wore the Gullwings' prized garment.

 

Yuji held back a few chuckles as Shugo had joined them, it seemed to be an no-action mission so he decided to come along, holding a closed book. "Interestign that so many fans have come." he said as Yuji looked at him. "It's Yuna, partner, almost all of Spira adores her since she's the only known person to live after Sin's destruction.

"Very true in itself Yuji, but, is it an expression of gratitute or love towards her?" He asked, hand cupping his chin in thought. "Who knows what they think, all that see is someone they can believe in and look to if there's trouble on the horizon.

 

Yuna sighed and signed autographs of the people who wanted them. She thought back when they chased the thieves (a.k.a. LeBlanc, Logos, and Omri) to Luca and how she ended wearing the prized garment. Apparently, LeBlanc posed as Yuna and acted like she had a concert. Yuna was with Yuji while Rikku, Kari, Daichi, Lukya, Paine, Aqua and Lockon sneaked into the concert and recovered the stolen grid.

 

"I don't see how that...sphere can be a prized garment." SHugo said and Yuji blinked at him. "Probably because of what it does or something, I'm not sure, but we don't use a Single Grid with complete spheres you know." Yuji said and Shugo nodded.

"I've been curious as to what being a 'fan' is like." SHugo said with wonder and Yuji looked at him and thought about it. "It's like...you and your research, you get obessesed with it, that's kinda what it is." Yuji honestly said.

 

"I was sweating in that thing, but if I sneaked in, our cover would be blown." Yuna said to Shugo and sighed. She walked down the stairs and stretched.

 

"It was Brother's idea to make her wear that... but the thing I wanna know is: why does Brother even have such a costume?" Daichi pondered as he followed the others.

 

"I guess it's each to his onw, I suppose. Yuji said thoughtfully, he honestly had no idea Brother was into...those kind of things, it questioned the man's sanity actually.

 

"So what did you do after we left?" Rikku asked, Yuna smiled, "Top secret!" But in truth, she didn't do anything besides talk to some people and after coming to their current area, she remembered getting talked into passing out balloons to support the concert her impostor was having. She sighed and smiled.

 

Meanwhile... in the docking area's of Luca.

"Okay I get it! Jeez..." Haruka called back to her bosses as she started to unpack and organise crates of Blitz equipment.
I don't see why I should be punished for the big yahoo at the concert... all I did was help out lady Yuna.
...I mean sure I went on a break afterwards when I shouldn't have... but still...
she pouted a little, and wiped her fore-head on the back of her gloves. "It's not like I can do much about it... this is all I've got in life right now..." she found herself muttering quietly.

 

Lukya went to the docking area and saw a girl with red hair. "Hello, there! Need some help?!" She ran up to her and smiled, unpacking crates and organizing them.

 

"Cheers for the offer but-... Haruka's jaw dropped.
"You're.. You are..." she looked around frantically for signs of anyone else, wondering if a trick was being played on her.
"Lady Lukya?"
Of course... she recognised her from the concert and the events that had followed, but why would she be back in Luca so soon?
Did that mean the others were here too? Lady Yuna? Daichi? Rikku? Kari? Those others who she didn't recognise?

 

"Please, just call me Lukya. The whole 'Lady' thing is overrated." Lukya smiled as she carried a crate over. "And besides, I wanted to help. Also, I'd like to show the people that the Guado aren't bad as they think." "Lukya!" Yuna, Kari, Rikku, Paine, and Aqua ran up.

 

"Um... thank you Lukya...
I don't think the Guado are bad at all. I mean... I remember the Guado Glories in the tournaments.. and I know you've been working hard as leader of the Gua-"" she was interrupted by the arrival of more Gullwings.

Daichi was following the others, and he noticed the girl with red hair talking to Lukya. "...Hmm.. The one who helped us from before..." he commented.

 

"Hey, everyone." Lukya smiled at them. Yuna looked at Haruka and smiled, "Hello, there. You look familiar." Kari smiled and nodded, remembering her as well.
