Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

The moment the spell was cast, Daichi charged forwards at a great speed. He dodged two of the dragons attacks and he slashed through the Dragon in an instant with two flaming strikes. Making the Dragon drop.
Using the two swords in combination with Lukya's spell had felt incredible.
Lukya was a really talented and powerful Black Magic user it seemed, and the feel of the blades as Daichi used them had felt amazing too. It took him back to two years ago when he had first held the celestial weapons.
It seemed out of everyone, he was the only one who had continued to use his own.
He looked back at Lukya and gave her another nod and a small smile.

 

Lukya smiled and nodded. Yuna looked at her pouch and sighed, somehow the dragon was able to create a hole in the pouch on her belt. She put her hand and pulled something out. Lukya looked at her, "Everything alright?" "Yeah, my treasure is alright." Yuna smiled and showed everyone a necklace and a earring. The pendant on the necklace and the earring were the same shape as the symbol on her chest. She turned to the sphere, "One more for the Gullwings!" She took the sphere which was a dressphere known as the White Mage

Yuna led them back to Wakka, he asked, "Find anything?" "We sure did!" Rikku said, happy, Kari said, "Lets take a look." The sphere showed Besaid, Lockon asked, "This it?" "Nah, 'fraid not." Wakka said. Yuna sighed and smiled. They walked outside, Rikku asked Wakka, "So, what sphere were you looking for?"

"Well... It's a sphere of our parents. Chappu said he found it." Wakka said, Lukya thought of a moment, "Chappu? Oh, your brother!" "He was a Crusader. Now he's gone on to the Farplane. Sin got our parents not long after Chappu was born. We were too young to remember their faces, you know? When we were kids, we got into a fight one time and Chappu said: 'I found a sphere with mom and dad in it, but I'm not telling you where it is.'" Wakka said, Yuna asked, "And you never asked him?"

"I was too boneheaded to let my little brother win. So I went on without asking until I just forgot about it. Then yesterday, talking with you made me think about it again. Chappu used to play in this cave, so I thought maybe he found the sphere here, ya? But when I came to look...I got to thinking." Wakka said, Rikku asked, "About what?" "See, I got this picture of my parents in my head, ya? Strong, and kind... Whenever things got tough, those are the parents I imagined. But their real faces might be totally different, ya? I think about that and I'm not so sure I really wanna know. I was sittin' there trying to figure out what to do. And then you guys showed up."

"That's our Wakka." Lukya said, smiling. Yuna said, "The sphere might still be somewhere on the island. Should we look for it?" "Nah, that's all right. I'm through worrying about that stuff. What's past is past, ya? Can't let it get to me. I'm going to be a father soon. Gotta pull it together!" "That's right, Dad." Rikku said, Wakka smiled and said, "But, uh... Just how am I supposed to pull it together? Sure wish I had something to go by, you know?" Buddy called from the airship, "You read me? You guys about finished down there? Brother's starting to get on my nerves." "Yeah, we'll be back soon." Yuna said, there was a shout from Brother, "Yay!" Lukya sweatdropped.

 

Yuji held back a laugh. "Best hurry before he does something crazy again, I bet not even Buddy can restrain him for so long." Yuji voiced as Dean was nowhere to be seen.

"Oh yeah, the Dean guy said he had to go off somewhere, he said that being a Drifter, you can never stay in one place for so long so he might meet up with everyone again." Yuji said.

 

Yuna waved goodbye to Wakka after Lukya gave him yellow ribbons for him and Lulu and boarded the airship with the others. Rikku stretched as she asked, "Where next?" "How about Luca, the confusion should have calmed down." Yuna said, Kari nodded and the airship flew to Luca. Lukya wondered if Yuji and Shugo knew about her brother and decided to not to dwell on it.

 

Daichi stood at the door near the hallway of the Bridge, as the airship made it's way towards Luca.
He thought about Wakka and Lulu back on Besaid.
"I'm sure he'll make a great father." Daichi said quietly.
"...It's hard to believe though... that two of the old group are settling down and are actually starting a family..."

 

Kari nodded and smiled. "Yeah, but that's the path they chose. And Yuna's path is being a sphere hunter to find her love. I hope Ryo is doing okay with that clown, Gilgamesh." She sighed and thought about the gifts he sent her.

Lukya nodded and petted Aqua's dragon machina. "Are you sure about letting a such young girl being a sphere hunter? I know it's a good chance to discover her past, but she's still very young." Rikku hugged her and said, "Next to Issaru's younger brother, Pacce, you were considered the youngest out of Yuna's guardians, in case you forgot and you still fought." Lukya nodded, of course at the time, she used a bow and arrow.

 

Daichi nodded,
"But the fact is... Lukya was still 13, were as Aqua is 6." he commented.
"No matter though... she is a tough kid." he said, patting the young child gently on the head.
"And of course, we are here to protect her anyway." he added.

 

"Of course, I'd like to know what is about Yuna that reminds Aqua of her mother. You guys remember what she said when we first met?" Kari said, thinking back to that day. "Also, her only memory of her father and the headaches she gets from the sphere seems to be connected."

Lukya nodded and remembered when Aqua's machina dragon was examined. It was built differently from the machina that was made now, and it seemed protective of Aqua. She sighed and smiled at the white dragon on her shoulder.

 

Shugo was reading a book as usual as Yuji was at the relaxation room, well where the hypello is tending to a bar and so, everyoen just called him Barkeep, Yuji said he's just prefers beign there, the sense of relaxing is something one learns to enjoy.

 

Lukya gave Aqua her dragon and headed for the bar. She asked Barkeep to make her a drink and sighed. 'I miss you so much, Seymour. I guess you would be surprised to see how much I changed from the little girl you used to protect.' She thought to herself as Barkeep handed her her drink. She took a small sip and smiled, thinking about Seymour and her travels with him.

 

"You look like you want to ask me something." Yuji said as he noticed a new arrival. "It says so on your facial expression>" Yuji commented, he had somehow had a instinct to tell what the expression was, then again, being a part of the Gullwings since it's early days wasn't much of a surpise, plus, Yuji wasn't one much for royalty like Yuna and Lukya, they were people too, not just someone you bow down too.

Shugo meanwhile was in the cockpit, turning a page over in a book, obivously taking no ntoice of his surroundings or stares, it was natural for him, but nowledge of a subject is a good thing in hindisght than going in unprepapred, Shugo was always the one to think of a plan while Yuji just goes out to do it, even if there wasn't a plan, they'd make one up as they went along as Shugo called this being reckless.

 

Daichi stood outside on the deck of the airship.
He sat at the very front watching the clouds go by underneath.
This very much reminded him of the times on board the previous airship, and the battles against Evrae and against Sin... and the last time they saw 'him' as the sky was bathed in fire.
He sighed and enjoyed the feeling as he felt the wind getting caught in his coat, fur and his longish hair.

 

Lukya smiled and looked at Yuji. "I guess you already know about my family line." She fingered the rim of her glass and smiled. "I had a older brother, a lot older brother. He was my half-brother and something happened to him two years ago. I just miss him so much, but I'm also reponsible for what happened."

Yuji just gave a nod. "Who doesn't know about the man who tried to lead the Guado down a path of extinction? Yuji voiced, sipping his drink. "Besides, all of Yevon fell into chaos after it was revealed by Kelk Ronso that most of those who were Maester were nothing more than the unsent, people didn't want to listen, they plugged their ears and shut their eyes, that's why New Yevon stands here right now." Yuji said with a calm tone. "It's amazing what we percieve, humans want to see something in front of them that's unatural but yet choose not to believe it, denying what they wished for, it's like something out of the corner of your eye, you see it but dismiss as something minor.

 

"Everyone believed when Seymour made me a Maester, that was his last act of sanity and his last act as a brother." Lukya said, thinking back to that day. "His final words were his blessing to my relationship with Daichi. I want to be sure to live up to the promises I made to him and our people. But it's hard at times, as I was the one who made him a unsent."

 

"I guess your true question to me is, did we look up about Seymour in Spira's Library if we had the chance to?" Yuji asked, he wasn't surprised, he could tell Lukya's mind was set on asking that one question since it was only recent that the Gullwings even fathomed that Spira had a library within itself, unreachable to everyoen but Shugo who seemed to be easily able to access it, perhaps the only person to do so.

 

"Should I have asked? Because I probably figured you already did it." Lukya looked at him and smiled. "But have you?" She actually sounded curious and wanted to know what Spira's Library on her brother and how much her new companions knew about her brother.

 

Yuji sipped from his glass again. "Nah, never occured to us anyway, besides, Shugo gets interested whenver a subject fascinates him that'll he'll go researching, blocking out any and all distractions, you have to be persistent to actually draw his attention away from it, but we never looked up about anyone's history within the Gullwings or their reasons for joining in the first place. Yuji stated and looked at her.

"That isn't for us look into, everyone has secrets and we have to respect those feelings even if we have the method to look it up otherwise, we'd be no less than stalkers or invading private famly ground, not even we would stoop that low to get infomation.

 

Lukya smiled and nodded, sipping from her glass. "Yeah, I guess you're right. When you heard there was a Guado with a relationship with a half-Ronso, what did you think?"

 

"Never really thought of it much, each to his or her own really, I was brought up without such restricting ideals, I mean, I never fallen for anyone or something among those lines but if the two are willing, why bother stopping it?" Yuji aske,d puuting a hand up, for those few moments, he was speaking alot more mature than his own age let on.

"Of course, Shugo's probably the same way, besides, he's not much of a fighter." Yuji said as he thought back to their first meeting that begun their partnership. "It's been a while since that time and Shugo still remembers that...transformation." Yuji thought, almsot everyone in the Gullwings knew there were six spheres designed for their Doublegrid but unknowningly to them, there was a seventh sphere that was sentient and vanished somewhere for perhaps, a full year if memory served correctly
