I like the customizability from the license system. Though I question why 4 of the characters are even doing in it. It's all about Basch and Ashe right?

FFIX all the way, just sayin'

FFXII had potential, shows in the fact all other Ivalice games are really fun, maybe another time it'll all come together.

If the game would have just been a bit different...it would have been THE best game out of all of them.

It had all the pieces...just didn't put them together right in my opinion

IX is the best game in the series.
    V is the most fun.
    VI has the best villain.
XII has the most original idea.
    VII isn't ******.

Everything else is just plain mediocre.

    XIII had the best mythos

    Everything else is decent.

    I loved the combat

    I loved the customization

    The game was beautiful

But some of the character were boring

The story was hard to follow

and the dialog left me confused.

    Same. I actually like the characters (up until about 30 seconds into me playing Crisis Core, Squall was my favorite FF character. Mainly because of Kingdom Hearts though), the storyline is enjoyable, but getting through that tutorial is so freaking boring and I can't ;.;

In my opinion, IV is the best, not because it introduced my favorite FF Hero of all time (Cecil), but because I found it enjoyable. A high-ranked knight who gets seperated from his best friend, makes new ones on the way and begins to question wether the motives of his cause are the right ones.

    Favorite FF Games:

    IV
    VII
    XIII
    X
    XIII-2

    But that's just me.

VIII is, was, and just may always be my favorite Final Fantasy game.

    (opinions below)

Squall was annoying because he's supposed to start as the annoying whiny loner dude, who changes throughout the story to become the leader that his friends needed. You can't have much character development if the protagonist starts the way he's going to end.
A lot of the dialogue was pointless, no doubt, but it to me made it feel more alive. Not every little thing we say in reality is important, and the game reflects that since there is both small talk and srs discurshin.
The story is, I'll admit, kinda weak compared to other Final Fantasy games I liked (X is my second favorite Fantasy, Crisis Core is in there too). No point defending it that much, but it is enjoyable.
Junction system...I actually really liked. It got rid of the mana system, and made you really think about what spells you were using and when.
The side-quests were cool and some were mysterious and fighting Omega Weapon zomg.
Triple Triad is like the best mini-game in a Final Fantasy.

Yup, I like dat game :>
