I realize there's already a thread regarding the remake in Square Enix, but this is more general. What are some things you've yet to accomplish in the game? Personally, I still haven't beaten Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon on my first and main file. I've tried a few times, but obviously I'm doing something wrong. I'm here too, though I want to finish the original version. I got to Aerith's place and....stopped for whatever reason.
So I found two easy, but kind of cheap, methods to defeat both Emerald and Ruby Weapons: Strategies #4 and #5: 9:50 - 11:20
I used #4. I didn' t think of using mime though, I used four Attack All and four Attack x4. My Cloud had 255 strength anyway so ... yeah. I' ve never played the English version so I' m not sure I got the materia names right. Calling it cheap would be quite the understatement, I literally put the controller down. Couldn' t get Ruby not to eject Cloud so I lost patience and beat it with my 255 magic character, just throwing meteors and healing when needed.
