Final Fantasy VII director has chances of a remake

im no hardcore FFVII fanboy but dam, it would be amazing if they remake this
even though if they do, don't expect it till i would guess about 6 years

Mweh, a remake would be nice, I don't see why every fanboy in the world loves FF7 the most, it's not even the best game of the series, sure back in it's days standards it was the pinnicle of gaming and a masterpiece event, but there's more in the series now, move ****ing on with the 7 franchise.

I dont know why square-enix must waste their time making a FFVII remake. They've already made a billion games based off of it and FFVII isnt even that good. They should try doing something more productive like continuing some other series that were popular but never saw any new games past the PS1.

 

I never played FF7, so I wouldn't mind see what all the fuss is about

 

Well you should play the game:D its pretty cool, although i like the story of FFVII so yeah, but the gameplay is good:D i wonder how it would be in the remake:)

 

That's like making a remake of Kingdom Hearts...it wouldn't work out good, Kingdom Hearts is a PS2 game, like FFVII is a PS1/PSP/PS2 game...series...and DVD too...wow, what a series but the same number.

 

The chances of this are really REALLY low since the creator of FFVII has left SE . And if they want the original team back, yeah they'll have to get him back from his microsoft owned team.

Plus... Yeah.. The director of FFVII was in no way onvolved with CC... I doubt he'd be talking about it's creation. Because he was making LO at the time...

 

I never got to play it, but I heard both good and bad things about it. Of course this was from fanboys/girl who complained about everything in RPG's. ;P So, yeah, a re-make would be nice as I could finally get to play it myself.

 

That would be really cool. I wouldnt mind seeing FFVII on a next gen console at all.

 

I would love a remake of FF7...I'd also like a remake of FF6. Those are my two favorite FF games and both at the time of their creation had great graphics...but now...not. It would have been nice if they had done this earlier instead of the DoC game which could have been made somewhat better. The games on the PS1 platform and prior just seemed to have better story lines than the ones made for the PS2. It would be amazing to see the graphics of FF XII etc on the earlier games like FF4, FF5, FF6, FF7 and know the plots were held in tact.

 

Yeah, and maybe real time gameplay. or yknow, keep it turnbased, but whatever.

Real time game play is a turn off for me. I like my turned based RPG's, thanks. Thought it would be a good idea in FFXII, nuh-uh, bad move.

 

Despite the low chances of a FFVII remake, i personally would love it if they did. I'm not, 'OHMYGOSH!!! STOP EVERYTHIN' N' REMAKE FFVII!', as i would much prefer to see SE continue with other projects.

The only way i would want to see a remake is if they held strong to the story, keepin' all the lulzy moments etc. A few extra's would be nice, but that's the only way i would want to see a remake.

 

I doubt if they did remake it would mean they'd stop working on other stuff,

after all it's Square Enix they are always working on a dozen things, including remakes
