Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

WHAT?! i thought it was great! i watched both versions and i thought the English script flowed better than the Japanese

 

I loved the movie and learned that in fact the voice of Cloud Strife is Steve Burton or "Jason" on the soap opera General Hospital.

 

yeah, that was great, but what was the dilly dally shilly shally stuff all about?

 

The plot was very weak. I would never watch it again if i didn't like the animation or characters.

I found the American script to be...cheesy. Like when Loz is walkin' through the flowers n' says "Gross" it sounded so much like Napoleon Dynamite. N' when Tifa says "dilly dally shilly shally", i was almost embarrassed to watch it.

Not all of the script was terrible but dang it, some of it was horrible.

 

It was like her way of saying "yeah, yeah, heard all this before"

I personally love that saying xD

 

Not all of it was that bad, just a couple parts i think the translation was a little off....but in cloud's memories, when zack tells him to run, that never happened in crisis core, did it? i liked aerith's script, she had a good part.

 

I've been dying to see this movie forever. I just never think to rent it at blockbuster. FFVII was one of my favorite games of all time.

 

Lol omg, loved this movie. I wish I could watch it again. Yeah the story wasn't brilliant but I really didn't care lol. The music was great and the animation absolutely fascinated me :O looked so real to me. =3=

 

i've lost count on how many times I've seen the movie XD
i remember the first time I saw the movie I went into a screaming fangirl fit. It was the japanese version of the movie as well. My cousin's roommate (she lived in an apartment) went over to Japan to buy it.​
