Final Fantasy: Type-0 Interest Thread

Type-0, or Agito XIII as its known by some, is part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series which includes games like Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2, and Versus. While it's one of the lesser known games, it has a massive background that I felt fit for an RP.

It hasn't been released outside of Japan so I don't think any RPers other than myself know the story of this game. That's not a problem though! I can cover everything for you if an RP is made.

The essence of the story breaks down into this:

Rubrum's Magic Academy is filled with 13 different Classes, each filled with students of different skills. All have the ability to use magic but some are more skilled than others while some specify in a certain branch of it. The Classes are as follows:

Class Zero: A group of 14 extremely talented students who have been hand picked to be part of this Class. No OCs will be allowed here. I will allow characters from this Class to be taken though. The mantle in their uniform is red.
Class One: Students from this Class represent the Knight Class found in other Final Fantasy games. The mantle in their uniform is light blue.
Class Two: These students have the characteristics of the Dragoon Class. The mantle in their uniform is indigo.
Class Three: These have the characteristics of the Red Mage Class. The mantle in their uniform is purple.
Class Four: These are represented by the Geomancer Class. The mantle in their uniform is orange.
Class Five: Represented by the Monk Class. The mantle in their uniform is light green.
Class Six: Represented by the Time Mage Class. The mantle in their uniform is green.
Class Seven: Represented by the White Mage Class. The mantle in their uniform is pink.
Class Eight: Represented by the Thief Class. The mantle in their uniform is yellow.
Class Nine: Represented by the Ninja Class. Focuses on intelligence and espionage. The mantle in their uniform is brown.
Class Ten: Represented by the Scholar Class. The mantle in their uniform is gray.
Class Eleven: Represented by the Professor Class. This isn't actually an official Class in Final Fantasy and I'm not sure how it's different from the Scholar Class. I'll do some research on this though. The mantle in their uniform is white.
Class Twelve: Represented by the Blue Mage Class. The mantle in their uniform is turquoise.


As a side note, Class One is not filled with students stronger than those of Class Two, Three, and so forth. Likewise, Class Twelve is not for the weakest students in the Academy. They're just numbers.


For those of you who have played Final Fantasy XIII and/or XIII-2, you'll end up seeing some similar terms such as l'Cie. They will appear here but they are not the focus of the story and nobody can join as one. ...Unless you want to have Gilgamesh.


The only other things I have to say are that I'd prefer to have OC spots filled out first(people from Classes One to Twelve) and that OCs will be important for the story of the RP. Also, I'll allow people to join with OCs who aren't from the Academy. So with that dump of information, is anyone interested? Any questions?

Yeah. Class Zero for instance(where no OCs are allowed though) has 14 members. I'd prefer it if the OCs were not all piled up in one Class though! All of them are great anyways. Class 10 and 11 however...I know very little about. Kinda sad since gray and white mantles are pretty awesome.

I would've quoted everyone, but I think this is enough. I think we have enough people to convince me to make this into an RP. I'm still very open to have many more join though! And I'd honestly prefer it. I'll get to work on the RP sometime today or tomorrow.

No OCs are allowed into Class Zero. Everything about the members for it are locked in. Personalities, weapons, what they're good at, all that kind of stuff cannot be changed. So I really don't believe many will join as Class Zero characters.


Anyways, I'm still at work on the RP thread. I wish I could've had more time over the period in which the forum was down, but I didn't. Still working~
