    I wanted to make a Final Fantasy crossover rp but...I have no ideas whatsoever. If I could get some ideas thrown out there it would be a lot easier.

    I wanted to involve most to all of the Final Fantasy game characters.

    Well, Dissidia's a good base for a Crossover RP, after all, we only seen the 12th and 13th Cycles of the War of the Gods, so maybe, in the other cycles, there were more FF Characters chosen to be Warriors or rather how the first cycle began.

    I'll be happy to join if you can get this off the ground and I agree with what Stardust said. maybe center it around the 1st cycle. cause after the 12th cycle the total hero count got smaller

    I agree with Stardust. But, have it be a FF1 esque-story, with the conflict between the gods mixed in.

    A Dissidia style is convenient but it holds little substance. Any other ideas? And if I could come up with a Dissidia styled rp would be if we would want to include every character from Final Fantasy's line of unending unique brand of characters?

    You see, that holds very little story to be told. That's fine for an actual RPG which is a game, but not for an RP.

    not a lot of story as it is, but what if we pit each FF world against the other? then you have conflicts and crisis of conciounce to contend with, which gives extra room for detail and plotting.

    Or what if...we combined a majority of the worlds...making it an rp involving a slice of life theme.

    i'm probably being very stupid, but what does
    mean? does it mean we use FF characters, but alter them slightly to suit our own ends or preferences? Combining the worlds sounds good. or we could amalgamate them into two worlds, one against the other...I'm just spitballing.

    It means having Final Fantasy characters in real life situations. Not action packed but focused on individual relationships and stuff.


    I had a suggestion but it wasn't anything special considering you're probably more ambitious than this and there isn't much info for you to work with but... A crossover between all FFXIII games(Versus might be out of the count though >>). Seeing as how that has next to no chance of working...you could do something similar to Dissidia but rip out all the framework that holds it together. Find a new reason to have everyone meet up. Have new antagonists instead of returning villains. You could get rid of the two gods altogether.

    It's not a bad idea to remake Dissidia with new villans and a new reason, but it would take quite a while to put it together...

    Machina, do you remember the rp either you or Bueno made involving all the FF characters and such? It never got off the ground even though it was a very interesting idea. Something like that is kinda what I had in mind from the beginning.

    I remember it. He's still planning on bringing that back eventually but of all the people out there...he's one of the only RPers who moves slower than me. XD

    Just don't directly rip him off and it's all good. I'd suggest having characters from Type-0 but I'm just extremely biased about it. >>; Anyways, if you ever need help with it I'm around. Especially if you want to narrow down a potentially gigantic character list. Bueno had well over a hundred initially. >>

    Thank you, I've thought about this a lot and yet I couldn't figure out how to make it work... I wish Bueno would move faster...I resent and admire him for coming up with such great ideas. I've come up with something along the lines of what's been suggested. I can't say if it's going to work out well or even get off the ground...
