Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"How did you escape?" Steiner asked and Cid looked at them. "About that..." He started but the man spoke. "I broke them out." He said and Yuri stared at him through his mask. "Then we gotta get to Zidane!"

Yuri said and the others nodded but soon, the door closed on Eiko as Zorn and Thorn captured her.

"Now, give me the Gulug Stone..." Kuja said, offering a hand out. "

"You're the worst scum alive!" Zidane cursed at Kuja. "I grow weary of your tantrums. Well, will you hand it over or not?" He asked him.

"Don't relinquish it, Zidane!" Steiner called out and Zidane turned around to notice everyone. "Huh!? So, who's inside this cage?" He asked confused.

Oh dear, I wasn't expecting this. That's right, the ones inside are fake! But don't think you've won yet. Kuja said confidently.

"What do you mean by that?" Yuri asked and Kuja laughed a bit.

 

Tidus began to cough when Vivi hugged Jecht to remind Jecht about what the spoke about on the boat and then turned to the others and nodded when they decided to head out and followed them

Alleyway jack was still with his partner "so what shall we do now?" Jack said

 

OOC: Err...Kuja hasn't vanishied away, he has to take Gulug Stone and Eiko then everyone can chase after him.

 

OOC: yeah I know. Tidus is following the others to Zidane and Jack is with his partner

 

Jecht walked away from Vivi and stood in front of Braska. Vivi was confused when Terya stepped forward. "Kuja, Garland isn't make us for this! Has your jealousy of our brother blinded your true purpose?!

 

The man brushed his hands together beside Jack "We'll follow them, besides, I like to pay Kuja back for the nice quarters he so kindly gave us." He said as they were inside the room until they heard Eiko's voice from behind the door as Thorn and Zorn had captured her as Kuja magically took ahold of the Gulug Stone.

"I wanted to finish you off after getting the Gulug Stone and killing all you friends... Instead, I'll just take the girl. I hope we meet again." Kuja said and walked to the teleporter with Seymour and Ryrin in tow and Zidane ran at them but they disappeared.

"Damnit! The teleporter's not working!" He said frustated.

 

Yuna ran outside the room to the teleporter there.

 

Everyone else soon followed as Zidane ran towards the ship. "We'll follow them on the ship!" ZIdane called out as Blank was at teh steering wheel when everyone got on board.

"Blank! Follow that airship!" Zidane pointed to the leaving airship and Blank nodded as the boat set sail after the airship.

 

Yuna sighed and hoped Eiko was okay as she heard Terya playing her flute. The melody was strange, it almost sounded like the hymn of the fayth.

 

"Can't believe I decided to come along with you." The man said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Aren't you a victim of Kuja, if so, you have every reason to go after him." Yuri said and the man looked to the side.

"All he's done if put me and my partner in a room with molten lava and quite frankly, I can't accept that, I been in worser situations." He said and Steiner looked at him. "Nothing could be worser than that!" Steiner said and the man stared at him through his mask.

"If you were in my shoes, you'd beg to differ." He said calmly as he crossed his arms.

"So what are you then?" Cid asked him as he looked up. "Just a passing through adventurer." The man simply replied.

 

Yuna listened to the melody of Terya's flute.

 

Zidane kept his eye on the airship.

 

Jack leaned against a wall with his arms crossed "I wonder if I will find what I seek" Jack said

 

Terya stopped playing and looked at the airship. She sighed, 'Kuja's really gotten down into the dumps. Since Eiko's a summoner, but she's still a little kid. Not old enough to have her eidolons extracted.'

 

"If he knows that, but he probably does so he may have another plan." Yuri said aloud and Zidane looked to Dagger. "Don't worry, we won't let Kuja do whatever he's planning." He said to her confidently.

"Depends on what youa re searching for." The man said and Freya looked at him. "Why not tell us your name?" She asked him and the man looked at her.

"Shinji Sekai." He said, sighing as he let his true name be revealed.

 

"'Bout time you told us." Yuna sighed and shook her head. She stood beside him. "But I'm not worried about that. I just hope Eiko's okay."

"She'll be fine." Jecht said, not looking at them. Vivi grew worried.

 

"so your name is finally revealed" Jack said

 

"Well, I can't have anyone attack me without knowing my name, doesn't matter if I say it or not since they believe I'm a Destoryer of Worlds." He said sighing, it sounded like he was getting tired of that title.

"Don't you have any proof you arent?" Yuri asked him and the man shook his head. "Nope, I don't even remember my own world so I'm travelling to find it and by the looks of things, this isn't my world either." He said a bit annoyed.

 

Jack looked over at Shinji "so how is Bartz and company doing before you left" Jack said

 

"That I don't know, I left just after Exdeath's defeat to enter the next world that awaited me." He said.

"Exdeath?" Yuri asked, confused. "Some guy who was bent on destorying that world and turned into a tree at the final battle." He said and Yuri imagined Kuja turning to a tree and tried not to laugh.
