The masked man watched in amusement of Jack's trouble. ""Just focus on the here and now." He said as he brushed his hands together as he noticed a stare from a few people and moved his arms about. "Talk about bad luck." he mumbled to himself.

Zidane and Yuri nodded and ran at full spped to leave this strange place and when Yuri was outside, his clothes had changed to that of Psyhic's

"That must mean Yuna and the others are still alive if this happened." he thought to himself and ran onwards.

 

'I'm coming, Vivi." Jecht thought, running as fast as he could.

Yuna followed the Black Mages and turned on two orbs.

 

The masked man just followed them until Black Mages were coming at them, noticing the intruder's had escaped.

"About time they heard the noise." He said and brushed his hands together and puleld out a card and slid it in. "Attack Card! Chocoblade!" It spoke out in a monotone voice as a golden sword materialised in the man's hand as he brushed his hand against the blade, not injurying himself and ran at the black mages as he cut through them and they fell as their hats remained behind and he could tell Vivi was staring at him.

"All in self-defense." He said and noticed Jack's stare at his new sword. "You'd know who this belonged to." He said to him.

Zidane saw the airship. "Over there!" He yelled out.

 

Jecht ran to the airship.

Yuna turned on all the traps that were placed around the palace while taking in the fine arts that surrounded them. Terya's mind was on her brother.

 

"how the heck did you get that sword?" jack said surprised at the sight of the blade

 

"From helping the owner, of course, he's still got this." He said as the Chocoblade dematerialized.

Yuri and Zidane as well as the others went on the airship as it took off, heading back to Kuja's hideout abeit slowly.

 

"wait so that means you met Bartz?" Jack said even more surprised

 

"Who?" Rikku asked, confused.

 

"He did have that name." he said and looked at Jack. "I also know for a fact you fought him because I was there in that world as well, fighting Exdeath alongside Bartz." He said and thought back.

"Of course, I left when they won since I had to to arrive in the next world."

Steiner stared at him. "What do you mean?" He asked and The man shurgged his arms. "I have to travel to different worlds to save the world I came from being destoryed, although, whenever I arrive in a new world, the people called me the Destoryer of Worlds, demon, whatever they are told and I can't exactly argue since I don't have any memories of my own world, so I travel to find my own."

 

Rikku looked completely when Yuna turned on the final trap, a voice said, "Defensive system activated."

Lenne jumped, "That's not Kuja's voice!" A large object appeared.

 

Steiner unsleathed his sword. "What is that!?" He asked ready as the man brushed his hands together. "At least after we defeat this, we could be able able to escape." He said confidently.

 

Yuna cast Excellence on herself, Rikku cast Bio on the object to no avail, Paine attacked with her gun. Lenne cast Magical Masque.

 

"so you know my true identity. I still wonder why I have never met you even thought I fought Bartz and his crew but now is not the time for that. Now we fight" Jack said taking out four daggers and slashed their opponent

 

The man brushed his hands together and switched his book weapon to sword mode and sliced the strange object a couple of times to no effect. "How about this then?" He asked himself and switched teh sword to it's gun mode and puleld teh trigger but to no surprise it didn't have an effect.

"Guess it needs something more powerful, this should do the trick." He took a card out and slid it into the belt and hit a side with his free hand. "Attack Card! Buster Sword! The belt spoke in a monotone voice as the man hung the book at his side and the Buster Sword materialized in his hand the man slide another card in.

"Attack Card! Blade Beam!" The belt said once again and teh man swung down the Buster Sword with no diffculty and blade of energy soared to the object as STeiner tried attacking the enemy.

 

Lenne cast Battle Cry on the party as Vivi cast Water on the object, Yuna cast Mazer Eye.

 

The strange object decided to counterattack and the man quick defended himself then took out two cards. "Guess there's only one way to finish this guy off." He said then stabbed the Buster Sword into the ground and slid the first card in as the picture of a blonde spiky haired man wielding the Ultima Weapon and he hit the sides.

"Final Form Card! B-B-Buster Sword!" The belt spoke a sthe Buster Sword hovered out and changed into the Ultima Weapon with a white edge and purple in the middle of the blade and new guard and hilt he grabbed it with a free hand. and slid the second card in as it had the same blonde but the card covering was in yellow and he slid it in.

"Final Attack Card! O-O-Omnislash!" The belt spoke then the man ran towards the object as Steiner backed away as the man swiftly executed the Omnislash with precise movements and leapt into the air as light engulfed the tip of his new weapon and he brought it down upon the object as it stood and fell.

"Nothing to it." He said and threw the Ultima Weapon into the air as it changed back into the Buster Sword then dematerializing as he brushed his hands together, notcing he gotten stares from everyone. "What?" He asked them.

 

Alleyway jack sighed as he put away his daggers "If only I didn't take the form of a theif in this world" Jack said

 

Rikku's mouth dropped, but Yuna dragged her to the teleport and everyone followed.

 

~A few minutes before~

The airship made it back. "Ah great, we made it back!" He said and started running to the teleporter with teh others and theyw ere ina new room.

"Did we make a wrong turn?" ZIdane asked himself and Kuja's voice echoed.

I'm in the next room Zidane, but I want you to come alone. Kuja's said and Zidane nodded.

"Be careful, it could be a trap." Yuri said and Zidane nodded. "tell em about it, I'll catch you guys later." He said and walked on as Kuja smiled as Seymoru and Ryrin stood nearby.

"I'm so happy to see you again, Zidane." Kuja smiled and Zidane prepared himself. "My friends better be all right!"

"Oh my! Blunt as always, I see... Take a look in there." Kuja said as Zidane walked t a cage and looked down, seeing the bodies of his friends.

"No need to worry. They just needed some rest, that's all. Now, give me the Gulug Stone..." Kuja said.

 

Seymour smiled.

Jecht and the others were waiting for Zidane when the Yuna and the rest of the team appeared. "Everyone!"

"Huh? You guys are okay." Jecht smiled when Vivi hugged his leg. Yuna looked around as Lenne asked. "Where's Zidane?"

"Inside the room to give the stone."
