Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"whoa we are in some serious trouble" Alleyway Jack said after jumping away from the middle and avoiding the lava "hey whats the big idea. Let us out" Alleyway jack yelled

 

Jecht looked around and sighed.

Then a mystic melody played through the cell. It was Terya, playing her flute. The melody was something she only knew, Garland didn't teach it to her, but for some reason, didn't mind it either. She often played it after she was created, and hoped her brothers could hear it as well.

 

The man leaned against the wall, arms crossed as he watched Jack yell. "Don't bother straining your voice. The Jailer isn't going to listen to our demands." He said and closed his eyes, he was surprisely calm.

"We could always blast our way out but I highly doubt that'll be possible." He said.

Kuja noticed something. "My my, we got two more performers to this act." He said as Ryrin looked. "He claims to be a Destoryer although he never given us his name and he isn't sided with Zidane's group nor will he work with us." Ryrin said and Kuja looked.

"A Destoryer you say?" He asked and Ryrin nodded. "So he says, his fighting style is very different to anyone I met on Gaia or those strange dresses."

"Interesting, what does he do?" Kuja asked, interested and Ryrin thought back. "He uses a strange belt and some cards to suit his strange style." Ryrin said and Kuja smiled.

"Then why haven't you taken it?" He asked again and Ryrin shrugged. "He caught me and Seymour off guard despite it being 2 on 1."

Kuja smiled as he stared at the man through his ball. "He's certainly amusing."

Yuri and Zidane walked inside as they looked around. "Okay what have we gotta find?" Yuri asked and Zidane looked carefully. "Some stone Kuja wants." He said and Yuri looked at him. "Well, they say treasure is at the bottom of the area for protection."

Zidane smirked. "Now you are catching on how a thief works." He said and walked ahead.

 

Alleyway Jack sighed as he sat down and sighed "man this is annoying" Alleyway jack said

Tidus smiled and clenched his fist "alright now that we know our objective let get that stone" Tidus said

 

Seymour watched the others, he was more focused on Terya, although her clothes gave the impression she came from Zanarkand like Tidus and Jecht, what surprised him was her similarity to Zidane and the melody she played on her flute. "What an interesting girl......" he whispered softly.

Jecht nodded and began to look around.

 

Ryrin looked at Seymour. "Setting your eyes on another woman? My my, first the Queen of ALexandria and now her?" He asked jokingly.

The man stared at Jack. "We'll just be patient, then we can find out where we are." He said to him.

Zidane walked around. "Why does this place feel like it's special?" ZIdane asked and Yuri shrugged his shoulders. "He's right though, ever since entering the building, something threw me off but I can't quite place it." He thought to himself.

 

Seymour smiled and shook his head. "I think we have one interesting actress here. She looks similar to Zidane and plays a interesting melody." He waved a hand and the melody played throughout the room.

Jecht gripped himself, he had also felt something strange about this place.

 

"I don't know why but this place feels so...Nostalgic" Tidus said as he walked and looked around

Alleyway Jack sighed as he sat there "well once we get out we can explore this place. A place that can be entered by quicksand must have some valuable things" Jack said

 

Yuri had to argee with Tidus mentally. "So...how do we get downstairs?" He asked aloud and Zidane looked arounded until eh solved a puzzle and door opened. "I guess this way." He said.

The man looked at Jack. "Peharps so." he noted.

Ryrin listened to the melody and looked at Kuja. "She does resemble Zidane and that clothing is liek that blond kid's, do you know her?"

Kuja stared at the chamber. "Peharps I do, but she is certainly unique." He said

 

"Almost like the Trials of the Cloister." Auron whispered, Jecht shrugged.

Seymour sighed and watched the rest of their prisoners.

Terya finished playing and sighed. "What in the name of our ancestors is Kuja doing with our brother.......?" she whispered to herself.

 

Zidane looked around. "Where next?" He asked them and Yuri looked at Auron. "I'm getting the feeling there's something in here." He said to him

Ryrin looked and saw Jack. "Hey, who's that? i thought that strange guy never allied himself with anyone." Ryrin noted.

 

Auron nodded, holding Squall's shoulder and walked around.

Seymour heard this and sighed. "Why would he join someone else and not us?"

 

Zidane checked deeper inside of the place. "Where are you treasure?" He aske dhimself

Ryrin shrugged. "I do not know Seymour." He said as Kuja sighed. "They'll find the item we need, it shouldn't be that hard to find although...they are some 'defensive' measures. He laughed abit.

 

Jecht looked around for the stone. "It shouldn't be this hard to find one small stone."

Seymour went back to the others. He grinned at Dagger. "What a perfect image of a canary trapped in a cage."

 

"hmm I hear somebody" Alleyway Jack said as he jumped up to his feet "heeyyyyyyyy let us out" Jack yelled

"if Kuja wants the stone it must be important. And usually important things like this would be easy to find" Tidus said

 

Jecht nodded and sighed. Auron held Squall near him as he looked. Shuyin found a dimmed lighted room and looked around.

 

Zidane walked aroudn and found it. "Bingo!" He then heard something. "What?" He aske dhimself and jumped back as some huge airship floated in frotn of them. "What the hell is that!?" Zidane called out in surprise.

"It's Ark! An Eidolon!" Yuri voiced out as he sounded different. "He's an Eidolon!?" Zidane siad a she took out his dagger quickly and Yuri had unsleathed his sword, taking a stance.

"I grow bored of this charade, shall we liven things up a bit?" Kuja asked and suddenly, in the rooms the lava hole slowly starting opening.

"Zidane's currently out on a mission for me so if he's not back in twenty minutes, you'll all have a nice hot tan." Kuja said as he projected his voice to each of the rooms.

The man brushed his hands together. "Oi Oi, that's cheating."

 

"wait what the? thats not fair I dont even know who this Zidane is" Jack said as he jumped backwards away from the hole

Tidus took out the brotherhood and got ready to fight

 

Everyone pulled out their weapons. Shuyin noticed his Pumice Piece was shining, and wondered if it was because of Ark. Auron and Jecht looked at each other and nodded. Jecht tossed his sister into the air and she hit the eidolon hard with her hammer.

Everyone in their cells went to the wall, Terya shouted, "Brother, are you insane?!"

~

"Is our female Zidane just shout 'Brother'?" Seymour asked his partners.

 

Yuri wtached as the Ark striked back with it's weaponry and Yuri quickly ran and with momentum, he was running along the wall as the Ark was distracted as he shot across the wall. "Bad idea!" Yuri said as he jumped off the wall and sliced across the Ark and landed on teh floor as ZIdane leapt and slashed at it.

"Ah, of course, she is my sister but she's allied with Zidane and she won't even get special treatment." Kuja said and Ryrin looked at him. "Not much for family then." he said.

~

The man put on his belt. "I'm not gonna wait here to be cooked...Transform!" He slid the card in and hit the sides of his belt. "Form Card! Battle!" The belt spoke in a monotoned voice as the man's armour immediately took form and the his mask covered his head and he slid another card in.

"Attack Card! Blast!" The man took out his main weapon and switched it to it's gun form. "Better move Jack or you'll get in the way." He said as his partner moved and the man pulled the trigger as numerous blasts shot into the door, blowing it off. as the man placed his weapon by his side and brushed his hands together. "Nothing to it." He said and walked out calmly.

Cid was hiding until he heard a sudden explosion from a room a sthe door was blown off it's hinges and into the wall. "My goodness <ribbit>, Who did that?" He asked as a strange armour covered man emerged in green.

Ryrin whistled. "That's some firepower." He said and Kuja looked in amazement. "What a discovery."
