Square-Enix Final Fantasy 8

Most likely to be one of the most emotional and greatest Final Fantasy games ever made...well, in my opinion, it is.

I swear, this game has so many emotional cutscenes that it really brings the characters to life. I have to admit, Magic is really a bummer in this game though since you need to 'extract' it from other monsters or get it from draw points :(

Wat are your opinions on this?

I never played the game, but I've heard so much about it. I really wanna play it but i think it's to late for me to find a copy. :/

Yeah, I heard alot about it too. Though I've heard that it's one of the most disliked FF games out there...can't believe it though. I reckon it's really good :p

 

Yeah, like everyone says X-2 was horrible, but I LOVED it.

People don't know what they're talking about somtimes.

But who else is in it other then Squall and Seifer?

 

Rai and Fuijin (Fuu) are in it, (and I also thought that X-2 was great too but again, I'm going off topic), Selphie is in it...I think that's it. My brain right now is down. Of course, those are all the guys in KH2 that appear.

 

Cool. I guess any others I wouldn't know anyway. :P

But Squall's cool, I'd play any game if he was in it.

 

I loved FFVIII, but I lost interest after a while, it just didn't appeal to me as much as it should.

 

Umm, by what I heard of it, it was good, but I haven't actually played it, what's like the plotline?

 

The (main) playable characters in FFVIII are: Squall Leonheart, Quistis Trepe, Zell Dincht, Selphie Tilmitt, Rinoa Heartilly and (my personal favorite) Ivrine Kinneas -- and also Laguna Loire, Kiros Seagill and Ward Zaback, in the 'dream sequences'.


Of course, there are plenty of other characters that aren't playable, but, I don't know all of their names.

And, er, 1winged, I'm not sure how to explain the plot. It gets really confusing to just read, without actually playing it.

 

Ah FFVIII, one of my favourite Final Fantasy Games. Disliked by many why? More than likely because it followed Final Fantasy VII.

To this day though, it still does have some of the best Cutscenes of any game, from it's Stunning Intro to Squall and Rinoa's Dance scene and the Ragnarok attacking the Lunatic Pandora.

 

Characters <3

Squall - have to admit, hes the first guy I EVER went fangirl on.
Seifer - He needs to get a life
Quistis - She PWNS. I mean, I wish my teacher was as cool as her ^_^
Selphie - Everyone compares her to me. I don't like her that much tho.
Rinoa - My idol! The only reason I ever got into FF8. Meh, I had a Rinoa doll when I was small.
Zell - Tattoo <3. Hotdog obsession, no...
Irvine - You really don't want to know what I think about this dude...
The Sorceress - Are you and Maleficent twins?
Cid - Meh, hes just like the other Cids.
Laguna - I want his hair. I really want it @_@


As for other characters. I forget their names ^^; But yeah, these are characteristics that they have individualy.

 

FF8 is a good game

This game did truly not live up to my expectations. Disappointing but not terrible. I'm only on disk 2, anyway.

 

I haven't played many FF games at all but I think this is my second favorite with FFX being my favorite. At first I didn't like the game at all because of the junction system and other things but after you get a bit into the game, the story really grows on you and becomes addictive. I think it was disliked because it was a love story game but still one of the best.

 

I wish I looked like rinoa, she's really preaty! @_@
