Square-Enix Final Fantasy 7 Remake?

Re: CoM was made for Final Mix+ because it made the totality of the Kingdom Hearts story easier to come by. They essentially did what they should've done: keep the series on one platform to prevent any ambiguity in the continuity. Contrary to what people on this site know, not many people knew you had to play CoM before KH 2. The main plot of FF7 has been put to bed, hence all the spin-offs that are beating a dead horse. If they wanted to do a remake they would've done one instead of hashing out the name to any game with a vague reference to the plot.

 

I agree- like I said b4- I dread hearing the voices *shudders* I rly just want it to see the graphics :O

 

i think the voices would be a nice touch...but...

they might change som stuff...and that would get people mad

it would be nice if they made the remake. but only if it was actually good. i would actually prefer them not to make it than if they did it half assed

 

agreed some games should just not be messed with

Lol, I'm sure it would be. Most of their games are awesome. They can't really do much to mess up FFVII, xcept botch the voiceovers and keep Cait Sith, but you can just mute and turn on subtitles if they're no good :D

 

if it were made, i think it would be good though. and so far, every remake i have ever played has turned out good. the remakes i've played are: Megaman X Maverick Hunter (remake of MX1), remake of Megaman 1, Tales of Destiny Director's cut (remake of the PS1 RPG), Kingdom Hearts RE: COM (remake of GBA version), Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen (remake of Pokemon Red/Blue). so it can be good. i think remakes turn out good because they don't have to spend time coming up with stuff like Character Design and concept, and story and stuff like that. but if it would suck, i would rather them not make it at all.

 

They should only do it if they can defintely make it epic and amazingly good. If they can't put a full effort into it, then they shouldn't bother at all, because this would be something big. I'd hate to see FF7 become a disappointing game. But I agree with Evilman that it'd probably be good. Square Enix would most likely put full effort into it.

I think they were planning on remaking it, but then they canceled the project... I really want them to remake it though, because I am not gonna play the PS version...! ugly graphics...

 

Dammit!If they do remake it,that would be awsome,but I don't own a Ps3.Crap!!!!I'm getting a 360 though.But,I'd really be into the gameplay.And who knows,the cutscenes might be awsome because it's on a next gen console.
