I actually like Paul, though. Ringo is my least favorite. He always looks like he's on drugs 24/7 or something. John, Paul, George, and Ringo, in that order. There are just a few songs I don't like the way Paul sang them.

    Yay. :glomp:

*violating* The Beatles don't have Stairway to Heaven. B|

Jimmy Page was once offered to replace Eric Clapton in Cream. Jimmy declined to replace the guitar god.

    *Violates* :3

When I had longer hair I looked like John Lennon. It's why he's my favorite of them. Plus he isn't so happy like the rest of them. XD

Learn to keep it in your damn pants for once. And Jimmy never played Hello Goodbye, Twist and Shout, Yellow Submarine, Paperback Writer, Let It Be, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Love Me Do, P.S. I Love You, Hey Jude and many more.

I think you've showed me a picture before. Don't remember. By the way, look at the tags.

By the way, I'm thinking of changing my name to Pablo, and then my usertitle will be "The universal imaginary friend of people". Should I do it?

Lol The Beatles. I don't get why people who aren't even from that time actually like them, it's as if they all hear something and follow along. Sheep.

    That one too.

Lol. Same goes for those who like AC/DC, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and any other bands that people might like that aren't during their time. Doesn't really matter what generation you're from. If you like the music, there's no problem.

    *in a bad mood*

Yeah but you've said heavy metal bands to which a majority of them still exist. Half The Beatles aren't even alive plus they aren't actually as skilled as todays musicians as Paul McCartney has said. If they where all still alive and was still a band they'd be in the same boat as Cliff Richard and The Shadows, a formerly good band now just nostalgia for older people. People need to learn how to move on and accept newer, better musicians and I don't mean that techno or indie shit.

Yes but everyone has a different taste in music. Not everyone likes the same thing. There are still people who enjoy music from the 60's and possibly even the 50's and before that, who knows. There are still those people who could consider themselves "retro" or something. I can kind of be considered one of them. I still listen to music from the oldies and such. Plus, it can also depend with the people you grow up with and who raise you. My family freaking loves the music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, so that's why I ended up liking The Beatles and why I still tend to listen to music that isn't from my time.

You called people who like older music sheep, and then suggested that they learn to like newer mainstream music more?

Well... They have alot of new techno and indie sh*t, and I have to disagree with you. If we can learn to respect the oldies for what they were, and we really enjoy listening to it, then why not listen to it? I personally don't like much of today's music. I like 70's, 80's and 90's music. I really only like today's Christian rock bands. Who are you to judge us for what music we like anyway?

I'm saying that it's about time to let someone else take the spotlight instead, there's nothing wrong with people liking whatever music but when it's to a ridiculous degree it kills the point of music. Like you won't have an entire bunch of people going nuts over some guy from the 1800's and most musicians from the 50's have pretty much stepped out of the way for newer musicians with a few exceptions. In other words it's transitions for each generation but not completely ignoring the past or over rating it either. It's not an opinion it's more of a open thought for change and reflection.

About 90%-95% of the music I listen to is from the 21st century. But I do quite like The Beatles. :>

I thought that I would like them once I heard Blackbird since that's a finger picked song...Turns out that it sucks. ;-; Unique playing style but not nearly as good as the stuff I see at school. >>
