Chain of Memories Fighting Ansem

Can someone give me tips for beating Ansem in CoM? I could get a Dark Aura or two in but it stops when he uses Guard with his Familiar.

I dunno, I can take maybe one of his bars. I tried breaking all of his sleights until his deck was crippled but his regular attacks are pretty deadly too.

Also, can I have some good advice for beating Larxene? I beat her, but my friend basically quit CoM after not beating her.

n e wyz, build up your cards by getting 8, 9, 0.
also get powerfull sleights

try to get a few hits then when he gets pissy, use your slants one @ the time...
try t o get a few hits... then after TRY to go into dark mode n attack him with 2 sleights @ the time, then a normal hit here n there...
you should be able to survive with 3 potions and the rest 8-0 cards...

Always use normal combos on Ansem. And always try to use sleights, such as Dark Aura or that other one that makes you attack him from the air numerously.

For some reason, this battle is impossible to memorize and I constantly find myself dying against him, and other times I don't. :/

 

You people and your ability to actually fight him, im still stuck are marlexia(how does she compare to ansem in difficulty)?

 

Marluxia isn't a girl O_o

1- Marluxia is a guy
2- After beating Sora's game (Marluxia battle #1 and 2) you unlock a whole new story, which is Riku's. "Reverse/Rebirth".

oh man...the ansem fight. he's much easier than marluxia i think. i used normal combos and was always near a 0 card when he had his sleights. in dark mode, i either used my normal combos, or did the double jump slash.

 

This maybe the wierdest tactic you'll hear yet.

And in my opinion, Ansem is harder than Marluxia, 'cause He's the only one I lose to in the game (after I beat Marluxia of course).

Attack him head-on without evading any of his normal attacks; Riku's cards could break Ansem's easily at the cost of some damage. When Ansem uses slieghts, just use your 0 card located at the end of your deck to break his attack (that's the great thing about this deck: all zero cards are "easily" accessible). When you get low on HP, use the Oogie Boogie card but don't use the mickey cards just yet; you have to save them for later 'cause they'll stop coming when Ansem has 1 bar left. DO NOT use slieghts until his final health bar; if you use slieghts too much at the beginning, you'll find you only have 2 more cards to fight with. Also feel free to use any enemy card you like. One more thing, be sure Ansem is preoccupied with reloading before you use MM Miracle or it's all over. I can't gaurantee victory with this "tactic" it's a win-lose situation with this.

My tactic is that you only NORMALLY attack him! Sometimes you can use dark Firaga. I have always beated "Ansem" like this. And remember to use Jafar card. That helps you when you`re beating him.

 

If he's using sleights break his cards with "0" card. Then atack him im DM. You'd rather use Oggie Boggie card, when your health bar is short. Dark Firaga is one of the best sleight.
