    Oh yeah that. Maybe I'll try it out. How's the combat? That basically decides how much I like an MMO (which generally ends with I don't like it)

    It's nothing to write home to mother about. I didn't get a chance to experiment with cross-class skills but it was basically target enemy, hold R2, use ability. I was an archer so if I used one of my abilities I could increase the accuracy of my shots for a few seconds, or imbibe them with venom, but it was what I expected from an MMO. Worth a try, at least.

    I played a bit of the Beta and honestly wasn't,overly impressed. Seemed pretty standard mmo to me. Didn't have time to get to the class stuff yet though

    I could never really get into MMOs (Not even DCUO) because I'm more of a single-player-play-for-story kind of guy, but this looks so interesting. Really considering investing in this one.

    I've not played any other MMOs really so I can't really compare it but I enjoyed it, at least.

    Just how likely am I to get chosen? I mean, I assume they'll give just them out to anyone considering they've picked KHVidians for it, but I'm still curious about my chances.

    I mainly play one otherwise called Aion and I would sooner play that then FFXIV plus it is free. Is the Beta still on? I have been gone fire the past there says so I don't know

    It's not even out yet. There was an MMO out a few years ago that claimed to FFXIV, but that was obviously a fake.

    I don't care for beta testing that much. The final product turns out better, most of the time, and you ruin it for yourself by playing the not-exactly-finished-yet version.

    Let me know if it's as good as XIII-2. And don't hate, that was my first FF game -_-

    If you guys are thinking about applying for the beta may as well put in the apps & don't worry about getting chosen soon, the open beta is in like two weeks (everyone will get in).

    The beta is still going on, the last weekend for Phase 3 will be this weekend.
