FFVII-New Crisis

"This can't be good." She muttered getting ready for the next attack as she took a few steps forward. Still she wasn't used to fighting with others...

 

"Mama?"said Roxanne confused.She then started shooting again but making sure none of the bullets hit Crux.

Jason heard the comotion was coming from the Mako Eexperiment Room.He opened the door to see his sister,Crux and Lynn fighting a man."What's going on here?!"

 

The man, now no longer able to move had his only resort in the materia he took when he escaped, He lifted his hands and several blasts flew at them Crux slashed away at the blasts in his direction, making sure none went in the injured man's direction

Aiphos was called to the control room for some weird reason .


Phykes started to walk around a trail located on the grounds .

 

Crux flew at the man at struck at him with his sword hitting his arms with his sword. The man shot an energy ball straight into Crux's stomach, sending him flying back.

 

"Crux!"yelled Roxanne.She went running to where he landed."Crux are you ok?!"she asked worried.

Jason stepped in front of the man with his weapon pointing at the man."Who are you?"asked Jason.

 

Aiphos walked into the control room and spoke with the scientists there . A couple of lab assitants went down into the mako extraction room and never came back . Aiphos was sent in to see what happened .

 

The man did not bother to answer as he took up his sword and swung violently at the man. "Get away from me!" He yelled angrily, accompanying it were a few short bursts of laughter.

Crux pushed himself up, slightly bleeding in his side. He lifted up his sword and switched it to it's gun form and shot at the man. "I'm fine" He said to Roxanne

 

"But you're bleeding."said Roxanne worried.

Jason blocked the attacks.Jason then began to swing his sword at the man.

 

Aiphos went into the mako extraction room and looked around .

She ran over to a mako tank and looked in . A lab assitant was floating inside , dead .

Aiphos : " Damn . "

She turned around and a Midgar Goon stood there looking at her .

Aiphos : " Abominations . "

She said sighing . Aiphos threw her katana at it , going right through it .

 

The man got hit, flying across the room he hit the ground...heavily wounded and bleeding "Mama.....ma...ma..." He started mumbling to himself as he looked frantically around the room for this person. He chuckled to himself as he continuously tried to help himself up, but to no avail. His bones were broken as he saw the people he had just fought. "Don't worry" Crux said forcing himself up, falling a few times but achieving his goal of getting up. "Just a scratch.." He said giving a reassuring smile to Roxanne. He then walked over to the man that laid down there.

 

Roxanne was still worried about Crux.She walked behind him just in case he were to fall to the floor.

Jason put his sword down to his side."Mama?"he said.

 

Aiphos killed the Midgar Goon and headed back to the control room and informed them on what had happened .


Aiphos then walked over to a empty seat next to a computer and sat down .

 

Crux walked over slightly wincing at the pain in his side, but he endured it and walked until he was standing the man now unconscious. "Is, he subdued?" came a voice from behind...it was the scientist that had been injured, he now regained consciousness and walked over to him, "I'm glad you chose not to kill him, he was an important subject. We put years of research into this man." He smiled while looking down at his experiments face. "I am Dr.Alphim , thank you for saving me"

 

"What happened?"asked Jason.

Roxanne saw Crux was in pain but she didn't say anything.She just stood next to him just in case he were to fall down.

 

"I guess I might as well tell you. We've been testing on them for some time...but this is the first time that I've seen this reaction. ...Wonderful" Alphim said with a look of joy, "I can't believe power like that comes from constant exposure to jenova cells" He told them

 

"Wonderful?"said Roxanne confused."He wanted to kill us.How is that wonderful?"

 

"Ah yes, and I am truly sorry for that. These subjects used to be SOLDIERs, each volunteered of his own free will. It seems that a rare side effect of this experimentation on humans is insanity" Alphim went on smiling cheerfully as he thought of the possibilities. "Rare huh?" Crux asked. "By the looks of it each one of them went crazy" Alphim suddenly frown at this remark but after a pause smiled again, "Don't worry, now that we've solved this we can stop their talk about reaching 'mother'"

 

"Do you know if anybody else survived?"asked Roxanne.

"Did all of them escape?"asked Jason."And who is mother?"

 

"If they did, they would be here, guards have been surrounding here ever since they got out.." Alphim explained "So they must be-" "No.." said the man opening his eyes wide and laughing there on the floor "I killed them all...only..Only I will reach Mama!" He yelled at them looking up from where he lay. "Ah yes, well it seems that they have been referring to the Jenova cells as their mother, I can only see it as a result of the insanity they developed. It is a shame that all died, save this one, I guess we'll have to start over and get more scientists" He stated kicking a dead body of another scientist before he went for the exit, "I'll send guards down here to take get this man some help" Crux said getting his cell phone
