Hmm I've been hearing about the 20 min vid that's been going around, but as much as I like FF I won't watch the whole thing, but besides that I actually like what I see here, I'm a little skeptical about the whole open world thing, but since it's running on the CC engine; I like :D

I swear I saw Lightning and/or Noctis In the Type-0 trailers. I think it's seven who looks a lot like Lightning

 

Seven does look a lot like Lightning - pink hair to grey hair and you have it.

She's about 17 years old in Type-0. Strangely enough, Sice is sixteen - she looks a lot like seventeen.

 

Machina's hair though looks really similar to that of Noctis's , don't you think so?

 

Slightly - I think it's just the hair colour.

But poor Machina...he had to deal with the death of Izana, his brother, and he might have to deal with Rem's death...geez.

Turning evil and doing somewhat a Sasuke , but we'll have to see. He'll be putting up with a lot..

 

It is possible out of his anger towards Ace and Queen at the end of the Natsubi trailer, but I highly doubt it. Machina doesn't seem to have that sort of personality to me.

Just the PSP. It was originally for Mobile Phones, just like The 3rd Birthday, before that was cancelled and then shifted to the PSP.

Damn you poor PSP sales. Birth by Sleep, Crisis Core, Dissidia and Dissidia 012 (from my info) all did well, so Type-0 could do well, right?

We've all been waiting long, and Square-Enix is at it's best with teasing us for the game - they should have just announced it at 2008 instead of 2006.
In a way, it is Square-Enix's fault - releasing a PSP game before the launch of the PSvita. Thank god they didn't do it afterwards, that could have been a trainwreck. But, a game is hard to program, especially if it has dual UMDs, so it's understandable. REALLY understandable.

Hard to believe it's so close to it's release.

Type 0 has 2 UMDs, its sold around 70 dollars in Japan (and the limited edition is around 120 dollars, holy smoking cow !)
If 40 dollars PSP AAA titles don' t necessarily sell as much as expected it' s only natural that they have doubts about releasing a 70 dollars PSP title, as hyped as it may be. I can wrap my brain around that, but the fact that they maintain total radio silence about any form of release in the US and Europe is starting to get on my nerves big time.
