Cloud swung his sword, but Sephiroth leapt out of the way. Growling, Cloud charged toward his nemesis and leapt, but Sephiroth simply dodged.
Why is he just dodging? Cloud thought, landing on the ground and panting. Not like him to do that. And why do I feel all heavy? Cloud instantly remembered what the Underworld did to people.

"DIE!" he shouted, leaping forward. He tried to activate his Omnislash (the one he used to kill Sephy in FF7: AC), but it didn't work. The swords simply flew out and all, but after two seconds of floating, they fell to the ground with a loud clatter.

Sephiroth smirked and tauntingly flew low down to Cloud. Jabbing his finger into Cloud's eye, he heard with satisfaction, Cloud's wounded yells of pain.

 

Gilgamesh walked up to Vayne

"Crap!" Vayne ran to where Saix was gave him the device "It magnifies the darkness in a person Seohiroth said give it to you" Vayne then teleported to where Aerith was she was quickley defrosting but still had 20 minutes left "Stop"Vayne cast the spell on Aerith buying himself some time.

 

(ooc://Stop has never exactly been the most long-lasting spell... XD)

Waking was like crawling out of a very, VERY cold iceberg... wait, it was crawling out of a very cold iceberg. Another chunk of ice!

Aerith hurt... she hurt all over, from mistreatment and the cold of the ice. Funny... she had thought that the darkness would've risen to take her. Yet she still remembered everything and held the light.

It must be my Cetra power, she thought wonderingly. I'm still keeping my mind... but ouch, do I hurt. I'm COLD, too! My jacket would've been nice right about now... She closed her eyes and thought of her flowers. The image brought newborn strength to her, and she reveled in it as she waited for her magic to come back. But not Firaga this time, oh no... THUNDAGA, zap their nonexistent hearts and them into unconsciousness so I can find someone who can help. I've never traveled through worlds before. I hope...

Ice broke. Naminé collapsed, her hair sticking up in a manner resembling Larxene's. Vayne keeled over like a capsizing ship. And with a shimmer, Aerith warped herself back to the Radiant Garden.

There is more to the knowledge of a Cetra than just that about a single Planet, after all.

"HEY!" Kairi nimbly dodged out of the way as Omega slashed at her. It's that ugly thing... AGAIN! "Why'm I on the 'KINGDOM HEARTS TOP WANTED' list all of a sudden?" she demanded of thin air, running yet again. "Reminder to self: always be careful of kidnapping attempts if you're the protagonist's girlfriend!" she thought, speeding away.

Kairi ran through the winding passages of the subworld, lost but not caring- as long as she got that THING off her tail! All the time, the clanging got steadily louder... until she emerged into a large, circular cavern, and the source of the ruckus was revealed.

"Not you again!" she exclaimed.

Saix took the device and decided to check on the prisoners, since he's already avoiding Rosso.

Tifa punched the wall one more time but it was no use. "Okay, let's try the bars again." She did a jump kick against the bars, no such luck. "Owwie... okay... let's not do that again."

There was a sound of footsteps and she got into a fighting stance because she could sense this person's aura and it was very strong. she didn't think the bars of the cell would help her or protect her. she knew her limits.

"Whoever that is... um... stand back, I am an indepenent woman who knows how to fight, and I'm not talking about pulling hair and slapping but kinda like the Ultimate Fighter show."

Saix shook his head. "Really now. But you have no action to back up those words."

"If these bars weren't between us, then you'd find out." Here, Tifa mentally kicked herself. 'SHUT UP! QUIT ANTAGONIZING HIM!!!'

The Berserk Nobody smirked. "I'll let time be your opponent. I'd say, right about now, Cloud is probably getting pwned." Tifa gasped. "Cloud!? He's in trouble! Let me out of here! I've got to help him!"

"with what?"
"...Light."
"heheheh... Light cannot save him where he is and who he's up against." With that, he left her there. Tifa grasped the bars tightly, shaking them. "LET ME OUT! I HAVE TO HELP HIM!"

Saix continued walking. Tears were flowing down her cheeks and fell on her fists. Thats when she stood back, wound up her fist and punched through the bars. Saix whipped around to see Tifa walk out of the cell, her fists glowing with a bright light. "I wanna see Cloud. If you don't take me to him, you'll be sorry."

He immediately thought back to what Rosso said.

The sound of their bones breaking, the feel of their blood all over your hands. Their agonizing pleas for you to stop and let them live.... Pure euphoria.

He shook his head to get her voice out of his mind. 'We might still need her alive... don't over do it, Saix.'

"You've just picked a fight with the wrong Nobody."

 

Sephiroth and Cloud stopped.
"Kairi! RUN!" Cloud shouted, running around and retrieving his sword pieces. Blasted Buster Sword. "I can hold him off for now!"

Sephiroth swung his sword, and Cloud was suddenly airborne. There were two things the blond thought as he rushed toward the ceiling.

One, I'm going to land on my bum.
Two, this is going to hurt till tomorrow.

Cloud smacked the ground with a loud, "OOF!" He felt a boot in his back, and he suddenly was flying again. More thoughts.

Look out, Kairi!

Namine groaned and glared at the spot Aerith was. She sighed, and ran around the corner to find...

"Saix? Tifa?!" she gasped, trying to smooth her hair down from its Larxene-like position.

 

Tifa saw a young blonde girl. 'What is that girl doing here? It's dangerous!' Saix used this chance and dashed towards Tifa, snatching her by her neck and pinning her against the wall. "You need to learn one thing about me... I can kill you... I'm insane... I can rip you limb from limb... with my bare hands... challenge me... and you will see Cloud... oh, I'm sorry, I meant for it to be plural... cloudS. and you'll be playing an instrument far more annoying than Demyx's Sitar."

Tifa gulped and sighed in relief as Saix let her go but shoved her back into another cell. He walked up to her, grabbed her wrists and slapped some cuffs on them connected to chains to wall. "Your tears can save you and they can kill you and those you care about, you cry again, you'll be crying forever as I rip out your heart, put it in a paper bag and give it to you."

He closed the door and sighed, leaning against the wall. 'almost lost it there... almost lost it.'

 

"Harsh," Namine said, leaning against the wall and frowning. "Rosso is really getting to you." She looked at Tifa, then back to Saix.
"Nice use of wording, although you not suppose to actually rip out her heart."

 

"Whatever!" he threw his hands up, exasperated with everything. He was getting really cranky and stressed out. Tifa tugged on the chains, glaring at them. Saix looked at her, and shook his head. "Still resisting... You have a strong heart... maybe we can use that to our advantage." He looked at the device in his hand and began thinking but Rosso walked in, letting her weapon hit the bars of each cell.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

"You look very tense... you didn't kill anyone did you?"

"shut up, masochist."

"Now that's not a very nice thing to say to someone who's helping you get in touch with your inner predator."

"I don't want to get in touch with my inner predator," he quickly glanced at Namine, ignoring Rosso. "what's the status of everything so far? I don't want to get too ahead of our evilness like last time."

Tifa slammed the chains against the wall, making a loud rattling sound. Rosso laughed. "We can hear you just fine, sweetie. You don't have to interrupt, like SOME people do." Directing it towards Saix who continued to ignore her.

 

Shelke push Cloud's body aside from Kairi's and use Cure 3 Materia. "You two could thank me another time." She turns to Kairi. "I'm here on an assignment to save you and that flower girl's lives before it turns wrong." She detected a prescence nearby. "If you'll excuse me, I have unfinished business to take care of." With that, she runs at top speed towards the blue-haired elven.


Yuna looks at the dark city around her. "Um, Maester..." She turns to Seymour. "That's what I called you before right, what is this place?"

 

Kairi shakily got to her feet. She doubted that she'd ever felt more grateful toward completely random passerby with funny... force... bubble... things (KH characters have no word for Materia, I guess ). Turning around, she spotted Cloud on the ground.

"Cloud, get back up!" she said fiercely. "Sephiroth's- nevermind, he's out cold... Curaga!" She almost brained herself (again) but at least the spell accomplished its purpose. "Oh, paopu fruits-!" She realized that standing there, she was a definite target for Sephiroth's sword... and that possessing dark-ish hair and pink clothing was not something to taunt the One-Winged Angel with.

Aerith dashed from house to house, looking for someone who could help. Had everyone been taken by those evil maniacs? Yuffie wasn't leaping over rooftops, Tifa wasn't wrecking rooms of any sort, Cloud wasn't leaning against walls and acting emotionless, no Sephiroth prepared to Meteor the town, Leon didn't check the mailbox daily hoping for his special little letter... and Cid was too busy cursing Stitch to be of any use anyway.

There weren't even any random pedestrians. Sephiroth had killed them all. And Sora had simply dropped off Kairi before going off on other important saving-the-Worlds missions.

Kairi! Aerith had almost forgotten about her. If anything happens to her... Sora would not be happy. That's one way to put it. And she was supposed to be under my supervision...! She composed another picture in her thoughts, capturing Kairi's blue eyes and her awkwardness with the Keyblade. Aerith vanished again.

omega weapon had lost the girl in that maze of the underworld, after a bit of wandering he had found himself in the area where cloud and sephiroth were fighting, he then made a portal in front of seymour "i found sephiroth and that other guy" seymour looked in the portal and said "the underworld? i did not think his plan would take place here" and walked into it "coming yuna?"

 

She hesitated at the dark portal in front of her. 'I wish I knew more about myself and this... familiar fellow.' "Sure." She walks inside with her hands by her side.

 

Back at Underorld ,Luxord saw Kairi and was enraged.''How did she get past those blasted Gambler Nobodies!!''He yelled.Then he jumped down to where Kairi was.''I don't think we'll have any interruptions for our fight,do you?''He said to Kairi,then summoning more Gambler Nobodies and his giant cards whirling around.

Rosso sharply looked the otherway. "I think I should go kill something, err, I mean, check something out." she walked up to Saix and pinched his cheek. "You be a good widdle luna diwiner now." She tugged his cheek one last time before disappearing in a flash of red light. Saix rubbed his cheek, very annoyed. He looks at Namine to address something to her. "She touches me again, I'm biting her hand off." and he walks away. Tifa slumped to the ground, chains rattling a softer chime. "I'm never gonna get out of here... am I? I'm never gonna see them again... Cloud, Aerith, Yuffie, Leon, Cid... everyone..." It seemed like shes lost all hope but her heart was telling her to not lose all of her hope. There's still a chance.

 

'It can't be; the Crimson?' Shelke knew fully well her nine-year-old body is not made to fight in combat. She barely dodged a hair's width away from Azul and Nero... she shook her head as she didn't want to think about that. "What should I do now?" She whispered to herself.
