Kingdom Hearts II Fenrir or Ultima keyblade ?

Fenrir, because I like the Buster Sword.

Depends on what you want to do, really. If you need to use Curaga a lot or just like spamming spells, go with Ultima Weapon since its MP Hastega ability nearly doubles your MP recovery rate. However, if you're good at using Guard and like using physical attacks, go with Fenrir and preferably a Negative Combo and a Finishing Plus and you'll have an awesome two-hit combo finish-only combo which really racks up damage fast. It really makes killing big groups of enemies (such as the Final Fantasy group battle and the rounds with a lot of minor heartless in Hades Paradox Cup) much easier and with instant Guard Breaks, stuff like Hot Rods and Large Bodies aren't such a pain either.

So yeah, it depends on your preferences. I personally prefer Fenrir because I'm pretty good at avoiding hits and I've never been a fan of long combos.

 

i go Fenrir, i'm not a big magic user, and i have ending combo plus but i don't have the strengthener ability for it so my finishers damage is set, plus you always have wisdom for magic (but then again you also have valor>_<) i agree it depends on you're fighting style. oh, and if it's for healing (while i understand it allows you to gain mp quicker) it doesn't matter since healing takes up all of you're mp, + i got all three mp thingys naturally (i got a lot of abilities i wasn't supposed to get naturally>_<) so yeah, still depends on you're fighting style thing.

 

Though I usually weild ultima, I think fenrir is better.

 

I honestly prefer Ultima, it looks better and Fenrir seems a but it "eh" for my liking. Even though I techniqually stick to Sora and co's basic weapons. I like simplistic looking things and the other keyblades stand out too much in the cutscenes. (I even beat the last boss in the first Kingdom Hearts with their basic weapons. Billy Zane as the Final Boss' voice actor FTW! *cough no spoilers cough*)

 

One thing I noticed from reading all of these is that generally fenrir seems to be a strategic weapon and ultima is more for people who want to just run arround hitting things and not worry too much about health or MP.

 

i can't decide! too hard! when i fight saix, mushroom, etc. sometimes i need both of them.

 

I prefer Ultima Weapon since in KH2, the MP charge takes too long to recharge itself. Fenrir is also a good choice if you prefer quicker finishers and you are less vulnerable to counterattacks while performing a combo.

 

I'd just go with ultima. It always works better for me then fenrir.

 

Fenrir, if your going to fight bosses in the world that never was, the enemies are easy, even though Xigbar is a pain the others are easy, you don't need to constantly cure yourself all the time, I didn't even cure once when I was fighting Xemnas: Final Form, Riku gave potions to me, I didn't have to give potions to him. Also Fenrir is easier to get than Ultima and it's stronger, screw magic anyway, I've never really used it that much.
