    - Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time
    - any Shin Megami Tensei title and Persona 3 in particular
    - The World Ends With You
    - all Final Fantasies, but if I have to choose one: FFVIII
    - Kingdom Heart I & II
    I'm sure I've forgotten some.

As for your poll question, I answered 2/5. A good soundtrack is enjoyable but it doesn't make or break a game. In other words, I can enjoy a game with a lousy soundtrack all the same.

Corridors of Time - Chrono Trigger
The Final Boss Theme from FFX
Assault(I'm not sure if that's the name) - FFX
The credits theme from Digimon Card battle(PS1,even tough the last time i heard it was in 2002,i still remember it a bit)
    Almost all musics from TWEWY

And that's all i can remember for now.
I voted 5/5 mby mistake, but i would vote for 4/5,since games with good soundtrack are a lot more enjoyable than the ones without.
Of course i can still enjoy games with bad soundtracks, but i like much better the ones with a good one.

Final Fantasy generally has a great soundtrack with some hit or miss moments (looking at you X-2), as does Metal Gear Solid. Other games with great soundtracks are Mirror's Edge, No More Heroes and Super Smash Bros. For licenced soundtracks, I don't think I've seen a better one than Rock Band 2, though Guitar Hero II is up there.

Soundtracks are 100% needed. Try playing a game with the music it off, it is soooo boring and doesn't get you as into the moment. Hence why Halo, GoW, MGS, and even UT do what they cn to make music that make every move you make feel epic and immportant.

    My fav game soundtracks:

    Halo 1-3 OSTs,
    MGS 1-4 OSTs,
    MGS 20th Anniversary collection
    GoW1+GoW2 OST
    DMC 1-4 OST
FF VI, FF VII and FFX OST
God of War 1 and God of War 2 OST
    SSBB OST
    No More Heroes OST

Music within video games are extremely important! What would games be without music? Music sets the tone of characters and without it we have to just rely on reading and discovery within the game. Would Sephiroth have been ranked one of the badest without the music, maybe, but music gives everything an additional experience.

Baten Kaitos, Halo OST, Fable, Golden Sun, FF are my favorite.

As a musician, soundtracks are like 50% the reason why I love a particular game. I mostly like Nobuo and his FF works but also a little bit of Koji Kondo (Zelda, specifically).

Some of the Soundtracks I own (or well, downloaded) :

    -Kingdom Hearts I & II
    -Final Fantasy X
    -Dissidia: Final Fantasy
    -Super Smash Bros. Brawl
-Subarashiki Kono Sekai/The World Ends With You (very different from the rest of my collection lol)
-Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core & Advent Children

And theme songs of other games like FFVII: DoC, FFX-2, FFVIII, FFIX (etc.), MGS Series, Shadow of the Colossus, Zelda Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, etc.

kingdom hearts 1- simple and clean
kh2- dance to the death and rowdy rumble
    FFVII-victory fanfare
FFX-people of the north pole, a fleeting dream
    KHFM+-deep anxiety, cavern of remembrance
    perfect dark- institute menu theme

these are actualy the games with my favorite soundtracks, and the best track to me listed to the right
