Favorite Type of Movies?

I enjoy watching Si-Fi, Fantasy, and Comedy movies.

 

I usually stick to anime, or whatever my friends want to go to see. I don't really watch movies otherwise.

 

Action, Suspense and Comedy movies. :)

 

Horror, Comedy, Stop Motion -if that counts?- , Sci-fi, 'Chick Flicks' and some anime movies. :)

 

Addendum: Bittersweet endings are good. Happy endings are fine, provided they're earned. Usually the sacrifices made to get the happy ending turn it bittersweet.

 

I don't really have a favorite genre. I used to like comedy but I noticed a lot of comedy moves now-and-days are really bad. I suppose drama/action.

 

Oh, oh! I love comedy movies! It's great that they can pack all of their funny parts into two or so minutes. It means I can essentially 'watch' a comedy by seeing the trailer. The same applies to other movies, but not to the same extent.

So I also really like movie trailers, especially comedy ones. Whenever I go to the cinema, I think the trailers are the best part.

Genre-wise, I can't say I have a favourite. But I do love me some bittersweet endings. Some are more bitter than sweet, others vice versa. I just find them more appealing and less predictable. For example, Moulin Rouge, Schindler's List, Sweeney Todd (waaaay more bitter than sweet, but still), How To Train Your Dragon, and the list goes onnnnn.

 

I enjoy horror films, psychological films...Otherwordly stuff, because it entertains the possibility for a new existence...and things like that. Bittersweet endings are <3. Happy endings kind of piss me off, actually...because life doesn't normally go that way, but whatever. c:​

 

i like horror films, but they're never scary enough anymore. also comedys and chick flicks... :D
oh, and musicals. love 'em!

 

Also, if bittersweet endings exist, then it makes films that much more suspenseful, because you know there's a very real possibility of the hero actually failing. Even more so when failing is so common that it's the norm in a series.

 

Comedies, mostly. But only the ones that don't give away all the funny parts in the trailer, like what P said.

 

Comedy action. Kind of like Rush Hour.

 

I really like romantic comedies, but lately I've been a sucker for scary movies. For a while, I had only watched tragic movies where there was never a happy ending. B|

I really enjoy comedy films, but i don't like films that try too hard to be funny, like American Pie or Meet the Fockers. I dunno, I prefer more satirical or Romantic comedies because there's more depth to them. I also really like fantasy films, jst because it's me personal genre of choice. <3.

Generally I like cheesy romance flicks. I mean they've got to have a bit of a brain to them, but I dunno... I guess I'm just a really big sap, haha. Other than that though I tend to enjoy fantasy or science fiction.

I can't watch horror or even thrillers, I get frightened very easily.
