Favorite Pokemon Generation

The title explains all. (What is your favorite Pokemon generation. Ex. Blue/red/yellow.)

 

Blue/Red/Yellow because old school kicks as$ but I did also adore Gold and Silver because not only was the game pretty epic, you could go back to Kanto again >D

I have all the new series of games too, they just arent the same D=

 

I always liked Silver and Gold. They had cool looking Pokemans, but they were weak. Great supporting moves though and cool exclusive moves too.

 

i had crystal... which was another version of gold and silver.. i liked it because it was different to the others, there were 2 regions... not one. Plus it was the first game to have a girl

 

Defiantly Gold, Silver, and Crystal .

 

FR/LF,G/S/C,then R/B/E.

 

Definitely the original Red, n' Blue Pokemon games. Yellow was fun too. Havin' Pikachu follow you 'round n' it was based more 'round the show was enjoyable.

Any Pokemon after the original 151 makes me wanna kick a Pikachu in the stomach D:

 

Blue/Red/Yellow were (and still are) great but so are Gold/Silver/Crystal then I stopped playing them since I didn't have the right gameboy anymore and because I would of been ridiculed at school and probibly been beaten up (or they would of at least tried XD)

We used to have Pokemon tournaments when we had a free day at school. I used to win cause i had a level 99 Charizard when all their Pokemon were in their 40s. xD

Mind you. I was in Primary 7 when we did this. xD 9 years ago...damn! i feel so old now. T__T

 

We used to do similar stuff to that XD I had 6 level 70 pokemon (can't remember what they where) and my friend had like level 50s XD

good times, besides I recently found my gameboy colour (pokemon edition XP) and have been replaying the games I restarted when I was 13 XD

 

Gold/Silver

it didn't have too many pokemon, the legendarys weren't a slap in the face to capture, traveling between the blue/red version islands as awesome aswell, and it had a good elite 4.

 

Definitely R/B/Y and G/S/C, the games really aren't the same after that. I do have Diamond, but to have the game's one-per-pack Legendary thrown at you halfway through the game's kinda dumb to me. I liked catching Mewtwo at the very end of Blue. That's the right way to do it.

I'll say the Treecko/Mudkip/Torchic generation. It had a lot of Pokemon, andeven better, a lot of great ones. But it's sort of a tie witht the first generation, it has some pokemon that are still my faves and brings back great memories. Also, I like those pokemon that come sorta after the Chimchar/Piplup/Turtwig generation, like Dusknoir and Glaceon, but i dont know if they're part of the fourth generation or not?

 

G/S/C hands down, I loved that game even now and am actually playing it more than Diamond, you could actually catch all the pokemon without getting five hundred different games to "catch them all".

It's sad how the franchise has gone down over the years.

 

I love the first gen. and second gen. games. I love them because they heve the best plots, the pokemon themselves are pretty original, and I just love low graphic games :3

but to pick one game I'd say Crystal, because you can have a girl character^^

I grew up on Crystal. I still play it sometimes. I love the poor graphics, they feel so simple and inviting. The generation has a fair amount of pokeymanz, 400 whatever is too many.​

 

I have to say the Blue and Red games because I grew up on them and they were my first two gameboy games. Plus I had a level 80 something Charizard in the Red Version.

 

2nd generation... mostly because of the hype for the games (silver and gold).

I like the first gen, It's so awesome~ But I also like Leaf-Green and Emerald... the ones I have now... My first gen game got lost when I was moving to out. D:
