Well, FF has so many great scenes and moments so I'll list them from what I played

FFIV

Cecil's torment over King Baron's decsions
Cecil becomes a Paladin
Parom and Palom using Stone
Tellah's sacrifice using Meteor
Cecil discovering Golbez was his brother all along

FFV

Galuf's death
Gilgamesh's sacrifice in The Void

FFVI

General Leo's Death (He believed in Espers and Humans could co-exist)
Kefka's story (Yes, the sad psychopathic clown gets a point because of what has happened to him)
Final Battle & Ending (Everyone's opinions on life is voiced and how the characters chose to live, including Shadow.)



Aerith killed by Sephiroth (That was a surprising moment and a moving one, plus, it shown what the team felt after seeing this and with polygons too)
Cloud's true backstory is brought to light (We discover what really happened to him)
Sephiroth himself (Yes, Sephiroth gets a mention, he's the most amazing villian ever and Hojo was pretty much an unworthy father to him while Lucreia doesn't discover Sephiroth is still alive)

FFVIII

Squall's backstory on why he works alone.
Squall and Rinoa dance during SeeD celebrations.
Squall telling Quitsis to go and talk to a wall.
Edea's will to protect Ellone.
Squall takes on Edea in an awesome cutscene.
Squall and co. rescue Rinoa.
The Ending (This shows that Squall has finally found someone to love and enjoy as Squall and Rinoa kiss off screen)

FFIX

Vivi's outlook on life and discovering who he is.
Zidane learns what he is but he accepts it as he decides to join everyone else in beating his creator/father Garland.
Kuja's reason for destruction of Gaia.
Ending (Zidane lives and gets the girl)

Tidus's reasons of hating Jecht
Crashing the Wedding (Come on, Guardians ride down airship cables!?)
Tidus and Yuna's passionate kiss
The discovery on what the Final Aeon meant for Summoners
Tidus fades because of him being a dream of the Fayth and Yuna's strong will to bear it
