Fate of a Nobody

Beast growled again but Belle stood up from her place on the stairs, "Help with what? Oh, Beast, they look like they don't mean harm, why do you always have to resort to fighting?" "It keeps you and this castle safe. I'd rather fight all day long than see you hurt." Xenree yawned, "Borrrring! Anyway, Princess, I'm the one who started the fight...kinda. You don't have to blame the Beast."

 

Xoram grinned. at least we r ok "what r we asking for help with?"

 

Xenree shrugged, "I guess getting rid of the Heartless." She gave him a look that said, your guess is as good as mine. The Beast stopped growling and considered it. "It's what I"ve been doing!" Xenree sighed again and brushed a hand through her hair, "Well then...I suppose our job is done. Now, about th--" she stopped as a banging on the outer gate echoed into the castle. "What's that?" Belle hurried up to her rooms and the Beast ran past Xenree and Xoram outside.

 

Xoram looked at Xenree. "C'mon." he said as he ran after Belle.

 

"Xoram! The HEARTLESS COME FIRST!" she snarled and dragged him after the Beast outside.

Outside they met a giant Heartless with smaller Heartless on top ofit firing off fire arrows. "Neat..." she summoned Dark Void and took a position next to the Beast. "Ready!"

Xero stepped in and when she stepped through the other side she almost fell in snow. She caught her balence as her foot finally reached the ground from the deep snow. She looked at it curiusly for a second, she had never seen snow before. She then saw smoke coming from over the side of a hill she was on. She went over, almost stumping over the snow as she did. She looked over the hill and saw a perished town.
"What...happened...?"

 

Zorxan struggled out onto the snow, raising an eyebrow. Then he saw the village "Holy-"

Xero looked at Zorxan with her eyes.
"Whoever did this must've been pissed or something..." She said. She then slowly stepped down sliding on the loose snow as she did. She finally reached the bottom and walked up to the burning town. She stood under what seemed to be a doorway into it. She looked around some more inspecting the place some.

 

Zorxan tried running down but tripped and then followed Xero's example. He scratched his head and looked at the remnants of the village. "Somebody was really pissed." he muttered, walking into seemed to use to be a village. He picked up a piece of wood and quickly snatched his hand away, the wood still burning. "This wasn't too long ago, the fire died recently." he said, sticking his burning finger in the snow.

 

"For someone to do something like this, he -or she- must've been feared by many. The town looks like it was evacuated before this happened. I don't see any perished bodies anywhere." Xero said as she looked inside the burned houses and buildings. She saw something in the corner of her eye. She looked up and saw a falcon flying around. She stared at it intensly for a moment.
"Why would a falcon fly around here right after a fire?" She mumbled.

 

Xoram had learned how to summon his Fusion Swords at will even though they were on his motorcycle. Putting all 5 together he stood next to them. "Lets do it!"

 

Zorxan saw the falcon Xero had been watching, "Hmm.." he tried to see his eyes, but all he saw was a color falcons shouldn't have as eye color, "I don't think that an ordinary falcon.."

 

"We need to get out of here." Xero warned as she turned and quickly and calmly walked away from the site. If that falcon was what she thought it was, she didn't want it to compleatly notice her.

 

Zorxan shrugged and followed Xero, Why I'm walking away? I don't know, I want to see that bird.. "So whats the plan?"

 

"First, get rid of that bird. It's observing us and I can tell that it's trained to do that." Xero said still carfully watching the bird as it seemed to be following as it circled around them. It crowed as it flew.

 

Xenree sidestepped a few of the fire arrows and launched herself into the air, firing Firaga's at the heartless on top of the large one. Beast slashed at the larger Heartless in an attempt to get it to stop charging toward the gates.

 

Zorxan looked up warily, "Uhm..how can I kill it when it's up there..?"

 

"Easy, try using a strike rade. Throw your weapon at it as it gets closer. That should at least paralys it for a few minutes and we can try and capture it."

 

Gexln walked through the corridor, closing it behind himself. "That bird right there?" he questioned, hearing only the end part of the conversation. He fired a dark firaga at it,but the bird evaded it easily in the air. "Whoever did this must be strong. We'd better be careful" he warned.

 

Xero was in slight panic after Gexln tried to hit the bird with his dark firaga.
"No! You'll give us away! That bird is observing us! And whoever it's observing for must be close by!" Xero said keeping her voice low.
