Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows, staring down at his jeans. "Not cool," he said, putting on a pout. With the behavior, he could feel his old self coming back. It was strange; he hadn't felt it in a long time.

 

A laugh left Namine's lips, the girl aware that Ty was still standing over her as she gazed at Roxas. "You said it yourself," she started. "You said that your goofiness is a problem, and you're out of a job. I just made it official." She winked at him, her eyes showing how much she was enjoying the fun conversation.

 

Roxas glanced at Namine but then turned his head in the opposite direction, carrying on the act. "My own girlfriend fires me. Terrific," he said, shaking his head.

 

"Aww," Namine said, her smirk fading away. "I'm so sorry. I hope that one day you'll forgive me." She felt a smile tugging at her lips, but she chased it away, covering her amusement with a look of sadness. Of course, it was hard to act sad and serious when Ty was still standing above her and Roxas was being playful.

 

Roxas glanced at Namine, at the same time turning his head slightly. But even when he looked away again, he found it hard to fight his smile. He barely succeeded, continuing his pout. "I dunno..." he said, dragging out the last word to show his hesitation.

 

Namine sighed, moving her arms to in front of her head and folding them slightly so she could comfortably rest her chin on them. She looked forward as she spoke, seeing Roxas out of the corner of her eye. "Well, I can't force you into changing your mind," she said softly, mock-sadness behind her voice. "I guess I just took things too far by firing you."

 

Roxas smirked slightly, bringing his hand up to tap his chin. His eyes lifted to stare at the ceiling as he tilted his head to the side. "But..." he started, glancing at Namine out of the corner of his eye. "You could rehire me. You know I'm your favorite." He turned his head to her completely, his grin beginning to form again.

 

"Hmm..." Namine looked up at the ceiling, pretending to think but really remembering something that had happened a few months ago. "Didn't we discuss my 'favorites' already? Back in the park?" She recalled it was when Ty was absorbing all her attention, and Roxas had been a bit jealous. Then the two had a banter until her boyfriend randomly picked her up, threw her over the shoulder, and exited the park still carrying her that way.

 

Roxas arched an eyebrow, confusion washing over his features. "Huh?" he said brilliantly. The park? As he stared down at Namine, he tried to remember. The park... What had happened there? He couldn't remember anymore.

 

Namine chucked; either Roxas didnt' remember, or he was faking it. Either way, she'd explain the events of that day. "Ty should remember it perfectly well," she said with a small smile. "After all, that day we decided that he was my favorite. And then you got all worked up, hoisted me over your shoulder, and exited the park carrying me like that so I couldn't be near my favorite boy."

 

Roxas blinked, the memory flooding back. That had been a playful day, hadn't it? When he fully remembered, he rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah," he said, waving it off, acting nonchalant. "Ty can't do that." He smirked, arms still crossed as he slightly arched an eyebrow, acting proud.

 

Namine felt her lips turn up into a smirk at Roxas' phrase. "You said the same thing that day," she reminded him. "You got anything new? You're gonna have to come up with something good if you want to be rehired."

 

Roxas's "ego" deflated, the boy's shoulders slumping as he sighed. "I'm out of luck," he admitted, as though painfully. "I've got nothin'..." Well, there was one other thing he could do that Ty couldn't, but that would require the dog moving away from Namine.

 

Namine felt herself smile, the girl bringing her chin off her arms as she turned herself slightly, looking up at Ty. "Alright boy, you've won your prize," she said teasingly. "Time to back off." Surprisingly, the dog understood and shuffled back on his four legs until he was no longer over top of the blond girl on her stomach.

 

Roxas lifted his head, his sight falling on Namine and Ty, who was no longer hovering over his owner. He smirked. "Well, I do have something Ty will never be able to do..." he said, staring down at Namine playfully.

 

Namine pushed herself up onto her knees, arching a brow in confusion and curiosity as she looked to Roxas. "Yeah? What's that?" she asked, genuinely wondering what Roxas was referring to. Whatever it was, he seemed pretty confident Ty couldn't perform the same action.

 

Roxas leaned forward from his position on the couch, closer to Namine now. He lifted his hands slowly as he said, "This." The boy proceeded to bring his hands to Namine's ribs, wiggling his fingers and tickling her.

 

Namine's eyes widened at the first touch, but then she immediately shut them, giggling at the ticking. She turned her body away from Roxas slightly to try and get away from his fingers, which were running over her ribs and ticking her enough to make her speechless.

 

Roxas chuckled softly, but continued to move his fingers over Namine's sides. Yup, this was definitely something Ty could never achieve--tickle-torture.

 

Namine brought up a hand, grabbing onto one of Roxas' wrists as she tried to take his hand away. He was enjoying this, and he knew how much she hated 'tickle-torture'! So unfair!
