Far-Off Touch

Lucrix's expression remained neutral. He had expected the Keyblade Wielder to have some fighting talent, even if his style was more ferocious than skilled. With a snap of his fingers of his free-hand, the black rose petals began to assimilate. Behind Brady would be a second cloaked figure wearing similar attire as Lucrix himself, also wielding a similar weapon. Lucrix leaped back as the rose-clone charged forward, slashing at Brady's back as Lucrix himself gathered more ground.

 

Brady staggered forward, losing his concentration temporarily. He used the momentum to swing back around and used the torque to slash through the hooded figure. "What?!" he said surprised when it vanished. "Damn this mist." he said to himself. "Thunder!!" he yelled, and multiple lightning bolts all around him flashed down, naturally separating the mist and clearing his line of vision. He heard a cry of pain and a shocking noise to his back. He raised Galihad's Keyblade in time to catch a bolt of lightning onto it, and swung around to face Lucrix, and using the lightning and the stored power inside of Galihad's Keyblade, he attempted to stab into the Dark cloaked figure, hoping for damage and stunning.

 

Xena walked down the halls of Castle that Never Was She walked until she met with her superior, Lord Xamsdek. "Good evening Superior." She said and bowed out of respect. "is there any place I am needed at? Any missions to do?" She asked him.

 

Lucrix was shocked by the Wielder's counter-attack. Literally. He let out a surprised yelp, something akin to pain, and fell to his knees, static surrounding his body. The Nobody glanced up to notice that the youth had charged forward. He couldn't move as fast as he normally would, being half-numb and disoriented by the spell, but he was still quick-witted enough to roll to the side, summoning a whip of thorns to his free-hand. Black petals rained from it. All in a single-fluid motion, he leaped to his feet, swung the whip of thorns around Galihad's Keyblade (ensnaring the weapon in the process), gave it a sharp pull, and spun into the very inhuman tug, swinging his hooksword at Brady once more.

 

Brady was quick witted, but he wasn't expecting Galihad's Kingdom Key to be taken. Switching to regular style, he blocked Lucrix's swing and tried to re-summon his Keyblade. "Damn." he said, when it wouldn't return. He had to get it back. He did a pirouette over Lucrix's head, landing behind him. He blocked the falling rose petals, which were more than likely poisoned, got on his knees, and swung round, attempting to knock Lucrix off his feet.

 

Lucrix double-stepped away, spinning again with more grace and vitality as before. As if his body was capable of individual movement, in the midst of his spin, Lucrix swung the whip with Galihad's keyblade in a diagonal slash, black rose petals falling once more. "It seems you're living up to my expectations..." Lucrix murmured, his deep voice at a hollow pitch.

 

"Am I, then?" Brady shot back, blocking his own Keyblade. When his Keyblade came in contact with his own, however, it disappeared from the thorn whip back into Brady's other hand. Switching back into Roxian style, he flew at Lucrix, his keyblades a blur of silver and gold, and he repeatedly attempted to attack Lucrix in many ways, finally connecting with a slight hit.

Xamsdek shook his head no. "We are alright at the moment with the Keyblade Wielders, but I would like you to perform recon on a world. The name is Agrabah. Stay hidden."

 

Lucrix was no novice when it came to swordplay. As ferocious as Brady was, he was far from skilled. However, it didn't mean that the Wielder wasn't unpredictable. Lucrix went on the defensive, analyzing each angle of the strike, the force behind it, and the frustration in Brady's eyes. He felt the anger and Lucrix pushed as he deflected each blow with some effort, even dodging at times. "Yes... you're unskilled, as I have thought. Your abilities have no focus. And as I've noticed... you have no strength." Lucrix explained, though the last words of his analysis cost him. The keyblade barely grazed his waist, but the pain was there. Lucrix remained stoic and focused. As Brady continued his barrage, Lucrix finished his analysis on Brady's offensive fighting style. He was done playing with Brady. Lucrix went on the offensive, stepping forward with his single hooksword and batting both keyblades far out wide to the side, and slashing at the youth's stomach as he closed the distance.

 

"Agh!" Brady cried out, falling to his knees. "Damn you.." He looked into Lucrix's cold, unforgiving eyes. "Who are you?! What's your name?! Tell me, so I may find you again, and bring you to your knees!" He yelled fiercely. Lucrix was right though. Brady was unskilled. He didn't have the power of skill to fight such a powerful foe. "Tell me your name." He commanded, clutching at his stomach on the ground. He looked again into this eyes, only this time with a sliver of respect. "Tell me."

 

Interesting... Lucrix thought, willing his weapon away as he walked away. After five paces, he stopped and looked back. "Lucrix..." he told him, willing open the Dark Corridor. "If there is a next time... I will be waiting for you, Keyblade Wielder." With that cryptic note hanging ominously in the air, Lucrix entered the Dark Corridor. It closed immediately.

The scattered rose petals, all of them black, began to take shape into Nobodies, appearing like fairies with semi-translucent blue-violet wings, their white bodies similar to Dusks, save for a massive eye on their chests and thorn-like appendages. Their lower bodies were serpentine. They moved eerily.

Heartless began to appear.

 

Xena bowed, "as you wish my Lord." She said and in an instant darkness had swallowed her whole. The darkness by now felt familiar. It made her feel at home and calm. Of course it would, living in it, breathing in the air, and being one with it, it was everywhere. She remebered when it first came to her, she was scared, terrified...

When her eyes opened she was under the hot sun. She hated doing recon in some worlds. But this one was too hot. "I better get to work either way." She said to herself as she looked down from the roof she stood on, to the streets with bustling people. She dissapeared once again into the darkness.

 

Brady got up, and looked around at the surrounding heartless and nobodies. He brushed himself off, then, summoned both his Keyblades again. He was still injured from his fight, but he wasn't about to die. He slashed and slashed through countless of Nobodies and Heartless, before using Thunder multiple times to clear them out. As he slashed through the last shadow, he felt himself give out, and he collapsed on the ground.

"Well well, look who's back." Iahaxnuys said when Lucrix finally appeared. "How'd it go? Have fun?" he asked. "What happened?"

 

Lucrix glanced at Iahaxnuys. "I made sure the job was done. I gathered enough sufficient data to further our goal." He explained, walking past Iahaxnuys. "If you'll excuse me." He concluded, leaving Iahaxnuys behind.

 

"If you'll excuse me." said Iahaxnuys with a hand on Lucrix's shoulder. "Did I do anything to upset you in some way?"

 

"I would have to have a heart to be upset," Lucrix replied, shrugging away Iahaxnuys hand. He continued his way out. "On the contrary. You did exactly as I have predicted... you presented me with a window of opportunity." Lucrix explained cryptically, leaving behind his companion.

 

Iahaxnuys shrugged it off, and continued down to his room. The boy was good, no doubt, but cryptic, unreadable.

 

Xena had walked this whole place through the shadows and nothing. Leaning against a wall, hiding from the sun she sat on a crate. "Its too hot ti keep hooded." She complained and looked around. No one... letting down her hood ger purple hair stood out. "thats a little better."
"Aboo!" Yelled out a voice.
"of course." Sge grumbled jumping fron the crate and was about to disappear when she saw the heartless. Why were they here?
Hiding behind the crate, hood back,up, she watched as the man wearing a purple vest and a woman wearing a blue outfit came running. They stopped seeing the heartless. This was becoming amusing. But why were they going after them? And in such a horde!
"Stay behind me Jasmine." Said the male pull a curved blade sword. He was going to attack the heartless? And who was this Jasmine. "Princess go to the palace," Princess? "I'll handel them. Genie!"
Xena's eyes widened as she saw the blue giant appeared. Xena stood and stepped back into the shadows. "Oh this is very interesting."

 

Brady opened his eyes. He saw that girl standing over him, cleaning his wounds. "What're you, agh." he said, as he tried to sit up but couldn't from the stiffness and pain. "Why are you helping me?"
