Far-Off Touch

As Iahaxnuys put on his little show, Lucrix simply watched with folded arms. He considered the best action as to how to manipulate the keyblade wielders into killing Heartless for them at this point. Beneath the shadows of his hood, he gazed at Iahaxnuys for a short moment, reading the Nobody. His gaze went back to the keyblade wielder before him and closed his eyes. He remained silent as he uncrossed his arms, snapping his fingers. Lucrix demonstrated his power in a similar manner to his partner, but rather than have his weapon drawn, he simply summoned a vine of thorns that charged towards Robyn rather than answer her.

 

Iahaxnuys did a small wave of his hand down at his waist. Blood soaked out of the ground, and traveled close to the wielders. It rose up in front of them and took the shape of his Nobodies. Immediately, attracted to the drawn Keyblades, Heartless began to surround the two. He chuckled to himself as he watched them struggle.

Brady watched as the blood-nobodies took form and Heartless began to gather. He also saw the vines shoot toward the girl and bind her. He flashed around and destroyed a few shadows, but these Nobodies were really tough.

 

Lucrix watched as his vine was destroyed, now fading away in a dark mist. The lesser Nobodies and Heartless seemed to occupy the Wielders and so Lucrix watched with a cold detachment, as if he were a scientist analyzing an experiment. Or, to be precise, this was an experiment... but solely to him. He watched and studied the Wielders before him, collecting data. Lucrix took several steps back and recrossed his arms, leaving his companion to the dirty deed.

Xikru scoffed at Lucrix's intervention and substitution of himself. "Well, there goes that chance to shake off some dust...." He murmered under his breath. Then tilted his head to Xamsdek "You know, when a chain sits and collects rust for a while, it tends to not work as well, if you catch my drift." He said, obviously Irritated at Lucrix going in his place.

 

These Nobodies were too weak to really do any damage to the wielders. They weren't his more powerful form of Nobody, but if there were enough... Iahaxnuys willed a flood of blood to take the form of more of his weaker Nobodies. "That should keep their Keyblades out long enough to summon a ton of Heartless." he murmured to Lucrix, and summoned a Dark Corridor. "Come. We are leaving." he commanded, and walked through the portal.

Brady continued to fight more and more, but his jaw dropped as the raging torrent of blood Nobodies came down. "There's so many!" he cried out, but continued to beat down the Nobodies and continuing Heartless.

"Let Lucrix have his way for now, Xikru." Xamsdek soothed. "You'll have your chance soon enough."

 

"I beg your pardon? Go play with your dolls, girl, and leave the guys to man's work." he shot back confidently. He jumped backwards, and threw his Keyblades in an X pattern, slashing through multiple heartless and Nobodies before returning to his hand.

 

Lucrix glanced at Iahaxnuys from beneath his hood, but remained still. As his partner walked through the Dark Corridor, Lucrix backpedaled into the shadows, but otherwise remaining in Port Royal. Unlike his partner, Lucrix wasn't going to leave the job half-done. Rather, he was going to watch and study the Wielders as originally planned, to gather the necessary data to form contingencies should things prove sour. Unlike his predecessors, Lucrix was not going to fail.

 

Brady swung one Keyblade through a Nobody, and it landed in front of her face. "You...you think you know hurt. Loss? The toll of friendship?" He said quietly with a cold aura. He lowered his keyblade. "Do have fun with your world." He said. "Thunder!" He yelled, raising his two keyblades. A line of thunder cut through the heartless and nobodies, through which he quickly exited. He'd follow the Organization.

 

Xikru looked at the corrido of darkness that let out Iahaxnuys. "Back already? You barely left." He said to him, then noticed Lucrix hadn't returned. He figured they either ran into trouble they couldn't handle, or he'd stayed behind to do a mor thorough job. The latter being more likely. Xikru was silent, as a thought flowed into his mind. "....What about the other weilders? The ones that destroyed the original organization. Sora, King Mickey, and Riku." He said the last name with disdain. "Should they be spurred into action?"

 

Brady twirled around. "You did not hold your mother and father as they faded away!" he yelled. "You weren't forced to take care of four sisters for years after all by yourself! You may have watched your friend die, but not one you had known since childbirth! You know NOTHING of loss!" He was furious of this arrogant little girl thinking she knew pain.

Iahaxnuys replied "They are too old to fight us now. We are guaranteed victory." He said to Xikru "So how's your anger with Lucrix going?" he said smoothly.

 

As Brady ran towards the Dark Corridor, Lucrix stepped out of the shadows. He willed the Dark Corridor shut as he intercepted Brady's path. "I'm afraid I can't let you leave this place just yet," Lucrix said, his deep voice a basso of darkness. It was hollow, like his very being. Lucrix summoned a black rose in his hand, and from a certain standpoint, it seemed as though he was admiring it. "It would be truly unwise to continue on this way."

 

"Unfortunately for you, I must." Brady replied, summoning both his Keyblades again. "Or, you could spare me alot of trouble and tell me the Organization's motives and just give up now." he suggested.

Lucrix swung the rose like a sword, its black petals flying everywhere, multiplying until it made a screen hiding the Nobody. Lucrix summoned a single hooksword in his left hand, while with his right he willed the wall of petals to launch towards Brady like bullets.

 

Brady twirled his keyblades in a circle to block the roses, and launched blindly trying to find the Nobody in the white mist. He quickly realized that this was the opponents tactic, to distract him. He regained himself and meditated for a second, gathering intelligence. In a single split second, he got his keyblade up just in time to catch the downward slash from Lucrix. The power intensified as Lucrix was probably adding more pressure, and Brady was not diverting his full attention to the problem. He was trying to figure out how to dispel this white mist so he could see his opponent. He figured magic would clear it, but it would have to be a natural magic that automatically clears mist. He didn't yet have the power of fire, so he would have to find a way. In his other Keyblade, he was storing up power to use against Lucrix. He now had a abnormally sized amount of power in Galihad's Keyblade, which after Lucrix was off him, would be evened out between the two keyblades and used against the Nobody.
