Far-Off Touch

Raxdyb recovered by tucking into a backwards somersault in mid-air, and landed, rolled once, got on his feet, slid, and stoof up. He nodded appreciation for the comment.

 

Lucrix watched the training session, analyzing the new member. He was emotionless, his thoughts more focused making cold and calculating. But... he was still Brady, all in all. Lucrix swung out his left arm, summoning ten vines of thorns. Simultaneously, he snapped his fingers, sending them to strike and bind Raxdyb, appearing from behind Xena.

 

He is a fast thinker, something that Xena envyed. That was her downfall, if it wasn't for the adrenaline rush that spiked up inside of her from time to time she wouldn't be able to counter most attacks.
Xena didn't notice what Lucrix was doing until she noticed the vines sprawl out and bind around Raxdyb. Her eyes widened and feeling a presence behind her, she turned. Maybe she turned a little too quickly. Her hand returned back to her head, holding her breath so she wouldn't wince in front of the tall man. She didn't want to show any weakness in front of him.

 

Raxdyb's blank eyes surveyed this new happening. As he thought of the possibilities, he realized he might have to take a bit of damage to get out of this. He didn't mind. As they gathered around him, surrounding him before attacking, he ducked down into a splits at the last second, and looked up, watching as they clashed in on themselves. All he had was a tiny tear in his cloak, not important, as he wasn't even injured. He swung himself out from below them, got up, and slashed through them all while they were still tangled. Then he dropped to the ground, swung himself around, and was facing Lucrix.

 

Lucrix watched Raxdyb avoid his surprise attack. He noted the small tear and ignored it. So I was correct... his heart blinded his judgment in battle. Lucrix analyzed, noting the difference clearly. Lucrix summoned two roses, one with black petals and the other with white. The stems and thorns of the roses began to twist and turn, wrapping themselves around his arms. He gave a gentle kick to the floor with the balls of his foot, gliding backwards as he formed afterimages. Rose petals as black as midnight fell from each fading image. Lucrix, now akimbo, crossed slashed with the roses, making them become thorn whips, which were practically fused to his arms. One whip was black with red thorns, the other was white with blue thorns. Black and white rose petals fell from the whips. Lucrix left himself open, practically goading Raxdyb to pursue him.

 

Raxdyb decided not to pursue. It was obviously a trap, and he couldn't get near him with those whips, so he waited, ready for combat but not tense.

 

Lucrix admired the youth's oblivious wisdom, but that very admiration died as quickly as it had came. Lucrix summoned black rose petals, which quickly veiled him from Raxdyb's sight. Eventually, the petals expanded and the flurry thickened into a torrent. Lucrix threatened to shroud the room in a storm of black petals.

 

Raxdyb closed his eyes as the black petals ingulfed the room, They were covering him, noone but Lucrix could see. He thought his first actual thought, and was surrounded by Thunder, his first spell. It blasted all around the room, striking and burning up the rose petals. When it was done, he turned to face Lucrix with his blank eyes, all the rose petals gone.

 

Raxdyb took the bait, and when he first closed his eyes, Lucrix sprung into action. He glided forward atop a cloud of petals, gaining velocity and momentum, and when the lightning crashed down, burning away the petals, Lucrix leaped forward from the cloud as it burned away and twisted his body into a spin, the whips striking down at Raxdyb, threatening to kill the young Nobody.

 

Suddenly sensing the oncoming attack too late, he stuck out his left hand and caught both of the whips on his hand. As they wrapped around his hand, damaging him slightly more and more, he raised his Gladius and threatened to cut the whips, which would no doubt cause immesnse pain to Lucrix.

 

A Dark Corridor opened behind Raxdyb. Lucrix stepped out of it, both whips free. The clone that had diverted the younger Nobody tugged tbe whips roughly, while the real Lucrix swung the white thorn-whip at the hand holding the gladius.

 

Raxdyb quickly dropped his gladius, making it disappear before Lucrix could use it against him. The second whip curled around his other arm, making it impossible for him to move his arms. He cast cure on the poisoned wound on his arm silently, but didnt have enough magic to cast another thunder spell. He looked behind himself at Lucrix, nodded, and started thinking of a way out.

Since the first whip missed and the second latched on to the Gladius arm, Lucrix decided to teach Raxdyb a lesson in failure. He and his clone gave a sharp tug with the whips, painfully immobilizing the newly awakened Nobody. The real Lucrix gave the youth a painful lash to the back, emphasizing the end of the first real session. "When it's an obvious trap... don't trigger it. When in battle, don't look in one direction," Lucrix explained, his clone bursting into petals. "And most important of all... improvise." He added. He turned around to Xena. "Break is over... again. Don't take it easy on him..." Lucrix commanded, walking past her. She would notice his shoulder was slightly charred.

 

"Well I guess Plue likes you, he rarely shares his suckers with anyone!" Silver looked over his soldier and saw the sun rise begening. "My most liked time of day, dawn" He looked back at the Nobody "Xiruk, how 'bout some early morning sparing? No weaponry, hand to hand combat is something I like to do for fun."

 

Xikru let the sucker be shoved into his mouth as his blank expression was void of change. Well it wasn't so much blank as lost in thought "Yeah...Alright" He said as he stoop up from his chair. "You decide where. I'll follow"

 

Xena watched them, her eyes wide with surprise. Thank goodness she's on Lucrix's side. She watched as the two fight. It was...very beautiful, with all the petals everywhere and the way they moved, attacking each other, though it was brute force it still made everything look gorgeous.
They stopped and she stood up straight from her leaning position on the wall. She noticed all the injuries on both men, so when Lucrix walked past her she turned and said, "Put some cream on that Lucrix to help the healing process." and she turned to stand a distance away in front of the boy. "I hope you're not tired from that last round." she said with a little smile.
Her staff glowed and shrunk into her hand and silver flute shined.

 

I figure a good place would be my favorite world besides my home world: Olympus Colosseum. It isn't too far from here as well. Follow me outside." He walked outside and summoned his keyblade glider and said "Race you." he said to him, then took off.

 

Xikru looked up as the wielder raced off into the sky. He simply extended his hand and opened a corridor of darkness to the destination world, where he awaited silver. When he arrived, Xikru simply stared at him and stated "I won" then walked into the arena portion of the world. "So, anytime you're ready."

 

"Where is your style man? Those dark corridors are for the organization only, anyway. One of those members catch you and your dead, ya know?" he looked at him, and stated "I just have to go get permit to use the arena reak quick, about 5 minutes later he returned. "OK, I'm ready when you are." He took his fighting stance, a high low block style Stance to protect his face.

 

Xelyk was watching a keyblader and Xikru as they left the world. He was suppose to keep his eyes on the keybladers they never said he couldn't leave the world. He snapped his fingers as a corridor of darkness opened. It was a easy to see where Xikru went through the corridor. He soon found himself in Olympus Colosseum, he had the corridor open above one of the walls of the Colosseum which let him see them perfectly. He would observe for now.
