Far-Off Touch

Lucrix was at a lake, gazing at the water. High above was the moon in the gold-scarlet heavens, the sun setting. He saw his own reflection... or the reflection of someone who looked almost like him. He was of dark skin and dark hair, with eyes the color of sapphires. His pupils were round and normal, his ears small and lobeless. He looked around and realized he was alone. He was always alone. Alysiea wasn't there to soothe his despair and pain... she was the only one who understood him.

The twilight faded away, bringing forth a dismal darkness. Lightning flashed, revealing a black reflecting pool and a brief image. It was Lucrix this time, but his expression was lively and he held within his grasp Alysiea, who smiled and nestled close to him. However, her reflection faded away into darkness... which, after another flash of lightning, turned out go be a grove of black roses. Further in, he saw her again, strewn upon an altar before a massive keyhole, which leaked darkness. The lightning refused to show more, but two pale, ugly dots glowed where the black pool resided. Lucrix cried out in anguish as he realized what it was.

Lucrix awoke suddenly, gazing at the still blooming rosebud. A dream? he thought to himself, his hidden face expressionless. He arose from his throne and stalked out of his room. Soon... soon everything will come together.

 

"Wait you two." He said to the two sparing. "Our new friend here said Parley, if you knew anything worth your keyblade about this world, you would stop fighting until an agreement is made." he paused "And before you start swinging at each other, listen to your surroundings, this can help often. I am one to tell you that using just your eyes will not help you in a fight." His mind flashed back to an image of a girls arm being torn off by a pureblood Heartless of some type. "It always will."

 

Xikru waited for her to finish talking to silver before making his move. He didn't need to get her while she was distracted to win. If he'd gone all-out the fight would be long over, except she'd lay there dead rather than defeated. In ane case, it was time step it up a notch. The chain wrapped itself around his keyblade's handle on it's own. Xikr threw it towards her, as though to stab her, but he knew full well she'd evade. Instead he planned something far more unexpected.

 

Xikru grinned as she played right into his hands. The keyblade moved in an unnatural direction, as though it had a mind of it's own. It swerved around and headed straight for Robyn once more. Except this time she didn't have to dodge. It flew straight past her left and turned once more. Like a python taking it's prey, it wrapped itself and the chain tightly around her, seizing movement. "Checkmate" Xikru said as he he flicked his wrist. Robyn was slammed against the ground, knocking the wind out of her at least. In a real fight he'd have done so much harder, potentially damaging their internal organs. But Robyn would escape with a nasty bruise.

 

All at once, the chains loosened and fell appart int seperate links. Which than were drawn towards Xikru almost magnetically. They disappeared under his coat and seemingly vanished into nothing. He went and offer a hand to help her up. "Now, imagine fighting twelve of me. Not holding back and won't spare you if they get the opportunity to kill you. You'd be dead before you knew what happened. He said, careful not to include himself in the count among it's members to further the ruse he'd left.

As the cymbals crashed during the crescendo, her eyes opened. Panting she wiped her face from the sweat on her forehead. clearing her throat she stood up from the bed and turned off the music sending the room back into silence. The feeling of fear always seemed to creep up on her...funny aren't you supposed to have a heart to have such an emotion?
never mind that now i need to speak with Lucrix anf tell him I'm back.
Xena grabbed her clock and zipped it back up, patting down her mess of hair before stepping out into the hall to look for Number 10.

 

"Seems that went well." Zeke said once the sparring match was finished. Considering that he hasn't fought or seen an organization member fight, he quickly figured that he was going to need a lot of training if he was going to stand a chance against any of them. "So what do we do now?"

 

Orias laughed. "I got nothing," he turned. "I'll be in the Black Pearl, eating and drinking some rum, if you need me." He walked towards the ship, whistling a tune that sounded an awful lot like "He's a Pirate."

 

Lucrix wandered around the hall, deep in thought, when he saw Xena. He nearly walked into her, pausing a split second or two out of reflex. "Xena..." he greeted, his tone distant. "How was your mission? Have you drawn their attention to Agrabah?" Lucrix asked, though he seemed apathetic. Far more so than usual.

"Ever stop to think that our guest had no idea of the words meaning?" He shot back rather sternly. After watching the two spar, Silver looked at Xikru and thought "He is hiding a lot of power, the Nobody of the one of the greatist wielders has more power, and his holding back was a bit too much heald back. He hs a torret of power byond our curent imagenation that he has sitting pretty in a panora's box, waiting to open it up." Silver stealthly folowed the pirate, unlike mst who follo, Silver was a head of him rather, but he travled the allys as to avoid being spotted.

 

Xena looked at the man, she held back the yelp that was about to escape her throat. She felt like she was on pins and needles for some odd reason. It'd the dream's doing, that all... was her thought and cleared her throat to speak.
"They should be on their way, if not they are training themselves to become powerful." she gave a slight shrug. She didn't want to go back and have that sick feeling turn her stomach, a feeling that always appeared when she was around humans.

 

Lucrix stared at her for a long moment, reading Xena's mannerisms and the way she spoke. If he had any emotions he would smile, but he didn't. She seemed nervous, shaken. When he finished his analysis, he nodded. "I see," Lucrix said at last. "We will continue with this operation at a later date." He informed her, turning around. "For now, we must continue on with the Organizations primary tasks. Xamsdek will think I am up to no good if I continue on with my own petty projects if I continue to neglect the Organizations needs." Lucrix mused aloud, his tone apathetic still. "Come, Xena. We must see the Superior... I may need your assistance for my next mission." He commanded her, already walking away in search for Xamsdek.

It was too soon for him to continue the Operation, which had already gone under way. As he ventured the castle in search for the leader of the Organization, Lucrix began to think of ways as to how to handle Maleficent, whether she said yes or no to his deal. If anything, he would be forced to do what could be considered impossible...

 

The purple haired female nodded slowly and turned to look at the man who walked past her. Is he okay? she thought and shook off her nerves and useless fear as she followed him to search for their superior.

Xelyk walked through a corridor of darkness and almost ran into Lucrix and Xena. He was still shaken up about what he saw in wonderland. "Hey you 2 how was the mission? Hopefully better then mine if I see one more talking cat, rabbit, or card i'm going to lose it". He laughed a little and then said "I haven't got to fight in ages I really hope i'm the next one to test a keybladers strength."
