Far From Final

With the sudden speed boost Victora started to feel a bit queasy. She couldn't tell whether it was from nervs or the horse, or even both, but tried to ignore it either way. Then, upon hearing Abel's question, she smiled the best she could. "I have nothing to run from. But it is rather unfair asking me what my reasons are when I know none of yours."

 

Joan sat quietly under a tree, her head leaned back against it while her eyes were closed. How long have I been walking? The young girl groaned quietly as she moved her head away from the tree to look towards the direction she had come from. Welk was no longer in view. "I guess I've been walking for quite a while," she said to herself, beginning to wonder just how far the tower was. "Or I just walked too fast," she added, raising to her feet slowly. She sighed out loudly, placing a hand lightly against her chest as she began breathing deeply. "I must have been if I'm tired already." Stretching her legs a little, Joan began walking once more, her eyes from time to time attempting to peer through the trees of the forest. I wish I had a horse.

Crow galloped forward, catching up to Abel and Victora. "Monsters, Shmonsters. Actually, I couldn't give a damn less how they do it. I just feel sorry for the poor bastard of a demon that we run into first," he said, grinning. He then looked at Victora curiously before looking at Abel. "Why are you interested in the monsters?" He asked Abel. He had hopes for both their answers, but waited to hear theirs before telling them his reason.




"It's a pleasure! Damian Drake's the name," Damian said as he held his hand out for a shake, "Drake's the father's name, of course. Damian's the mother's. Named me after her maiden name, before she passed away, bless her soul." He nodded towards his other gun, the one Vincent snatched. "And that there's my gun, friend."

 

{ooc: i already looked at it, but i just double-checked to see where everyone was at again. since it seems like the majority are in welk, i'll have her start in archil and she'll just meet people along the way since everyone is pretty much grouped up.}

annexandria ran through the streets of archil collecting supplies at the local shops for her big adventure. i wanted to do this obviously for the money, but also to meet people; yet it seems like there are already a great number of teams heading off as we speak. shoot...how on earth am I supposed to get to know other people when there is no one left to join? she steered her horse down the long alleyway that she came to by the reigns. "calm down jasper, there's nothing to worry about." she sweetly petted the white arabians muzzle gently. there's nothing to worry about... when she saw the borders of the kingdom, annexandria walked towards the guard standing watch at the gate. "may I pass through?" the man nodded and opened the gate for her to head to the outside world.

 

Ash weeved back through the crowds to her new partner, "I wouldn't want you to get lost now." Wrapping her thin, pale fingers around the other girl's wrist, noticing the horse she dragged along, she pulled her at a far quicker speed than she was moving toward the far side of town. She spotted a good place to buy herself a horse and stopped in front of the man, "I'll need a sound horse. Your offer?" "Twenty or nothin'" Ash scowled, Hmph, I could pay....but theivery wouldn't look very well in front of my friend here... Regretably, she pulled out what remained of her golden coins, shelling out twenty of them before sighing and choosing a black horse with white stockings. "Good boy..." she murmered to him, stroking a hand along his nose. A small obedience spell worked wonders for her horse. He'd follow her anywhere as long as she commanded it.

ooc: sorry for such a long time of not posting. I've had a lot on my mind that this one completely slipped and working on getting my grades back up. I'll be more active now, promise.

Hana laughed , "I'd be giving you a run for your money if I wasn't leading Blaze. And that's a nice horse too. So where are we headed? Which demon are we going after?", She asked, it was both a good and bad thing that now all the decisions weren't solely her own. Plus she was liking Ash more by the minute, Ash seemed strong and a good companion, meeting her was some stroke of luck. She just hoped that luck held.

 

"To find Micheal... and kill these demons." She mumbled quietly, thinking about how they did kill the majority of her village. Perhaps after finding him she will continue to fight... It all really depended on how he was.

Ash thought carefully, tapping her chin with an elegant finger. "I believe I'll let you choose that path. Your name is Hana correct? Well, it's a long journey either way. Whatever Tower's closest should be logical to go to first. I'm ready for anything." She eased her way onto her horse, patting it's shoulder.

 

annexandria saddled up onto jasper and thought for a moment. where should i go first? probably wherever is closer. i think that's the inbetween village. she pulled out a map. yeaup, there it is. this will be interesting. i hope i can find someone to join soon or i might not make it. making this whole thing pointless. anna made a clicking noise with her mouth and her horse started off into a canter.

 

"So how far away is the closest tower from here" Ren asked

as jasper was nearing the woods that surround the destroyed village, annexandria noticed something moving in the grass. "who's there?" there was no response. she made her horse stop as she scanned the area. "is there someone there?!" anna started to get nervous and she noticed that whatever was in the grass was coming closer. jasper became spooked and bucked her off. "ah! .....oww....."

 

After renting a horse, Rath rode his newly obtained horse towards his destination. A tower of fire and a tower of ice..those two may be a disadvantage to me an my lack of magic. A natural element will be to my advantage as I can cut away any plant Rath pondered to himself and looked ahead at his destination "but first our destination is the village. I need to know what the enemy is capable of" Rath said

 

"Yes, that's right, Ash?" Hana thought for a second, "Well there is a tower on the border between the two kingdoms where a village has been comsumed by forest and another in the south of Welk where a village has been burnt to the ground. They're both about an equal distance from here, so I'd recomend one of them though I don't know which" She answered, thinking about their options.

 

Ash tapped one finger against her lip and thought, "Logic would say that fewer people would try to get through one covered by a forest. Let's head there, if there truely is fewer idiots trying to work their way through it." Ash refrained from a cold smile. Remembering their names would prove a challenging task.

anna landed on her wrist awkwardly. "OW!" she stood up and reached for jasper's reigns with her good hand. "how on earth am i supposed to pull myself up with one hand?" she looked at her misshapen wrist. "that's just perfect."
after a few minutes of wasted effort trying to get on her horse, she just walked alongside him holding the reigns and keeping her hand close to her chest.

Rath closed his eyes and calmly smiled as his horse galloped as fast as it could. Rath opened his eyes as he enjoyed the wind blowing past. As he continued to ride he noticed something peculiar up ahead a girl all the way out here? Rath thought to himself as he stopped his horse a bit ahead of the girl and her horse "its pretty dangerous out here. Something wrong?" Rath said looking over his shoulder at her

 

annexandria stopped and looked at the man in front of her. "i'm pretty tough, does it look like something is wrong?" she looked down at her wrist knowing it was broken, but trying not to let the pain show.
