Jesus. Sure are aimin' high with this one aren't they. As well-received as the third one was, I'm skeptical that MORE BIGGER BETTER will turn out to be effective for them.
I still haven't played any of the FarCry games... Maybe this will be the one that I try out. Especially since it will be on the PS4. An open world FPS sounds like fun to me.
The villain looks like the lovechild of Citra and Jason. I don't know if this was intentional, but it's definitely got me intrigued. Good thing they left FC3 open for interpretation. Jason did end up "getting it on" with Citra before the end, so there's a high chance that their child has grown up. I'll be waiting for more information before I preorder, though. A new step towards the revolution of the shooter game is by far the most bold statement I've heard.
"It's like Uncharted With guns~" In all seriousness, I'm somewhat skeptical. FC3 left a GOOD impression and it will be hard to top that. Vaas was an AMAZING villain in that game. If the new villain in this game tops that, then this should be a no brainer buy for me. Just at the box art, he already has that aura of crazy and manipulative schemes. Hopefuly it translates once we see some gameplay at E3.
If they do more of the same, with some nice improvements and a bit more of a refined stealth system, i'd be happy. Really like 3 for the aspect of being a deadly hunter, if they can nail it, then that's all they need to do.
All I see is Patrick Stewart in a bad wig. Still though I really enjoyed Far Cry 3, so if 4 is about the same it should be good.
