Yep. I thnk it was about a year ago, but I'm not sure. Also, Pattinson and Death Note isn't that weird since Death Note is a very mainstream series compared to something like, say, Ultimate Muscle, which is a nice transition into the fact that Hulk Hogan likes Pokémon.

 

I remember this picture and making a joke about so called Tough guy hulk Hogan liking a show about a kid and his pet mouse.

 

How can one person like Outlaw Star and Death Note how is that possible

 

Apparently Shane Black (director of Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and Iron Man 3) is a big fan of Death Note, although I'm not sure if that's before or after he was picked to direct the American remake. He fought with Warner Bros. because the studio wanted him to get rid of the Shinigami aspect, but he knew that they were important to the story beyond the scope of the plot.

 

It's not surprise that many of the members of Linkin Park are anime fans (just look at Reanimated's art), though I'm not sure what anime specifically. I'm betting Gundam.

Also, Samuel L. Jackson. He was the voice actor for Afro Samurai, likes Black Lagoon and Ninja Scroll.

It's called variety. I mean, my favorite show is Madoka Magica, but I also enjoy Cat Planet Cuties.

 

I doubt they called themselves a fan. I think it's more likely they were asked if they liked any and just answered with what they had seen to be polite and fans freaked out because HOLY **** THAT MOVIE STAR LIKES THE SAME ANIME AS ME.

 

It's never good when you list "Famous" people and then have to write why they're famous for a few of them....

Anyway, I now like Paramore because of Digimon fandom, it must happen even if I hate their music. Fan 4 Life!
