Along with the PlayStation Vita poll Famitsu held, another one was put up on their site to see which PSP games they would like to see remastered for the PlayStation 3. If you saw E3 in June, you'll remember that Sony announced that their Monster Hunter and God of War PSP games will be making their way to the high-selling console.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep ended up being the top-voted game in the poll, which goes along with the hopes of us fans. Also, for those who are fans of the Final Fantasy PSP titles, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Dissidia: Final Fantasy placed second and third in the poll.

To be able to play Birth by Sleep on the PS3 would be amazing, I'm quite satisfied with it on PSP though. As with Dissidia, that would surely be interesting. My biggest problem is having to constantly charge my PSP so with that gone. that would be amazing. However, I'd rather they remade something like Days for the PS3.

I think it would be great if they remastered all of the kingdom hearts games for the PS3. That would just be beautiful. Although, I can't believe that Crises Core and Dissidia made it to the top as well. If that really happens, I might not have to get a PSP for a while. Although, it would still take a while to remaster them, since that's quite a bit of work to do. But I just can't believe it, Birth by Sleep of PS3...oohoohoohoo, I'm getting goosebumps thinking about how awesome that would be.

I agree for Days:) Both BBS and Crisis Core were both great for the PSP and i don't feel like they need to be remastered for the PS3. if i had to choose out of the three, Dissidia (duodecim) would be the best for the 3. It would up the ante on battling, maybe even multiplayer for the world map. Plus we all know they kinda screwed up on allowing more games like that to exist. So if the remade it, the benefits would be:

      1. room for a better, and longer storyline for everyone.

      2. New characters- I would want Vincent Valentine, Zack Fair, Noctis, Genesis, and other good characters they obviously should have put in from the very beginning.

PS- if Square Enix REALLY wants to remaster a classic, then i Vote Final Fantasy VII 100%

actually, did you guys know that they made a demo for the very opening, but they decided not to continue because there wasn't enough time to make one?

Yeah, there was a demo, but i believe it was only available to the purchasers of the Japanese FFVII- ACC. so that would be the Japanese... I think they are waiting till they can perfect a game for the Real Time Graphics. (New EXTREMELY realistic graphics, watch Final Fantasy versus XIII Opening.)
(Just to give you a scale on Graphics-
Realtime- Final Fantasy versus XIII important cutscenes
Great Graphics- Advent Children style, Opening and Closing of KH games.
Get by Graphics- Dissidia, and Kingdom Hearts.)

hey, Advent Children seemed Realtime to me. Actually, what do you mean by Realtime? But go on youtube and you can watch the Demo. Too bad it's only a cutscene, but I guess that's what you get

Tech Demo. Not anything more. It was meant only to show how FFVII would look if it was placed on the PS3. There's a lot of reasons why it hasn't been made yet. The availability of the former people who worked on FFVII being the main one. FFVII won't be remade if the core team aren't there or simply don't want to do it. It'd take a lot of time and effort for them to just start production. >>

      Anyways, on topic...

I'd like to see the PSP games placed on the Vita or PS3. I'd really love to see the control tweaks added with the addition of analog sticks. 8D

quick question, wouldn't they look exactly the same on the Vita as on the PSP? I mean, it almost seems like the same kind of concept as putting a GBA game in a DS.

I'm guessing you've never seen the Vita. Think of it like a comparison between the PS1 and the PS2. That's what the Vita is to the PSP. It's almost at PS3-level power/graphics.
    11. Iskandar
      Iskandar
meaning the power is going to last about 2 hours. I've seen the vita, but games on the PSP were only made with one Analog, wouldn't that mean that just putting a PSP game into a Vita make you stil use one Analong?

The power is going to last as long as a current PSP or even moreso due to it's specs. >> No UMDs=Power saving. Also the screen that the Vita is using generally consumes much less power. Well...they would use one stick if it was just directly ported but why would developers(if they're not lazy) decide against using the extra capabilities that the Vita has? If there's a remastering for a game going from PSP to the Vita, then they'd most likely use the second stick....I hope.

The one game I really wish they would remaster, no matter if it's on the PS1, is The Legend of Dragoon. Or heck, even all of the Final Fantasy games up to XIII. Anyways, now that I think about it, how likely is this really going to happen? I mean, it was just a survey, does it really mean they'll actually take our wants into account?

Yeah, I heard that on when you get a Vita, You can go on the PSN and some PS3 games are available for download. I just hope they have a lot of memory since it doesn't have a port for the UMD. That's the only bummer i can think of for the Vita.

Vita's graphic is very awesome indeed. Its like PSP, PSP Go, and PS3 are united into one. But it's still handhelds, Vita's screen is small.
If Birth by Sleep should be remaster, i hope it placed on PS3
