The Japanese magazine for Japan, known as Famitsu was released early this week featuring a interview with Nomura. The cover of Famitsu features a new image of Terra, Ven and Aqua in CGI graphics. KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep is set for release in Japan on January 9th 2010.

So it's for the psp and ps3? Or is that just the name of the magazine.

It's very well meant for the PSP only. I beleive this issue contains a lot on PS3 and PSP games.

      Hmm...they have keychains...

Does Terra not have a keychain, or is it cut off?

Still, this looks awesome. Thanks, Mike!

I am speechless. This cover is an epic win!

I hope SE re-releases this CGI poster without all the text and in high-resolution.

I just realized Terra is the only one without a key chain on his keyblade. Even on the actual cover art.

The art definitely is pretty, but... their faces look a bit, off. Especially Aqua. o_o

Funny, because none of them had keychains in FM+'s trailer.
      Unless I'm mistaken.

I thought that their Keyblades didn't have keychains?
I'm guessing that Terra's keychain was cut off the edge, considering that his end of the keyblade goes off the edge of the magazine.

But other than that, the CGI looking cover looks amazing...it's just that Ven's pose looks awkward to me.

Am I the only one who noticed that Ven is holding his keyblade in an awkward way? On the Birth By Sleep video (KH2FM) the teeth and the hilt and guard were in opposite directions, but they re-designed it so that the teeth would be in reverse. In this picture the keyblade is with the new design, but he is holding it the wrong way, with the teeth and the other stuff facing forward.

Ven holds his keyblade that has not been introduced to us yet. He holds it as a ninja would hold his katana; holding it upside-down so that the blade is going downwards, instead of going upwards, as some-one would usually hold a sword.

This should be interesting. 15 more days till BBS. =D

Yes, I know that. What I meant is that in the magazine pic he's holding it with the wrong side, the teeth are facing forward, as if he would hit the enemies/things with them. From what I've seen in gameplays and in other pics, he holds it in a way that he'd hit stuff the way the Kingdom Key, for an example, would, not with the teeth. In the secret video on KH2FM you can see that when he tries to hit Master Xehanort the teeth would have hit him. That's before they re-designed his keyblade, as I said before.
