As a big fan of Fallout 3, I can't wait to wander the radioactive wasteland of the USA. This time things are different. Your different, your home is different, the characters you meet are different, the wasteland is now on the plain is of the Nevada desert, but yet it's more alive than before. No nukes dropped in Vegas so most of the landscape is intact, and bright lights of the Strip gelam from all over, so the world won't feel as dead as before. Hopefully this'll add something more and new to past experiences. Everything has been made to rectify the problems of Fallout 3, which I believe were minimal. All in all I'm looking forward to this since i'll be able to swig a bottle of NukaCola whilst blowing a head off of a Supermutant with a vaccum propelled teddy bear. That's a good life.
So anyone else looking forward to it?

I have the collector's edition preordered. I can't wait to get this game. I personally think it will be better than Fallout 3, but we'll all have to see. And I am definitely using that grenade machine gun once I get it lol.

I'm really looking forward to "realism" mode that is optional which adds a factor that makes your character more human... For instance amunition actually has a weight so you're going to have to probably not be carrying so many guns. And if you don't eat and drink everyday you get debuffs. I think that this is a really good choice to implement, because Fallout 3 was very well done in terms of the realism, however the fact that you could go days without eating was drew away from that. Does anyone know if the Vegas will have radition regardless of the fact no bombs hit there? Because Atomic bombs do have a large radius of spreading radition poisoning compared to their blast radius...

I would have got the Pre-order edition if it had more game related stuff to it. I would have liked exclusive, missions, armour or weapons instead of playing cards and a poker chip. Otherwise I wouldv'e got it in a flash.
I would presume in a Fallout game Rads will still be a part of the gameplay, though it is true that New Vegas would probably have less. Also, there might be alternate ways to acquire radiation than a nuclear bomb, like nuclear waste or nuclear power. I'm guessing that since Vegas is still pretty wasteland-ish that some form of nuclear problem occured. I'm also presuming that since there is electricity lighting the Strip, that it's being powered by possibly a nuclear reactor, howeverI don't know much about Nevada to presume they even have one. What i'm getting at is that in a post-nuclear game, radiation has gotta be somewhere.

I do have one bad thing about new Vegas i have to say, it looks a little too much like fallout 3, gameplay wise, but who am i to judge a game thats not even out yet, besides i already know its going to be awesome.
