Quite a few years ago (Around the time GameBoy SP came out I think maybe before) I was given one of them 50 in one games so of course I tried it out, but out of all the games on it, there were only two I remember playing Pokemon Diamond and Jade, of course back then I didn't use the internet to get my gaming knowledge I do now, so I didn't know their were fake until I started playing. There isn't much I can say about it that isn't said here http://www.pokezam.com/games/fake/diamond/ other then I didn't have a hard copy of just the fake game and I couldn't save at all (So I had to sit through the opening every time I wanted to play any game) Anyone else play these fake games or any other fake games?
I recall a "ChaosBlack" and something about a Mewthree. Lucky I had a massive Pokemon fan for a friend who called BS before I thought about looking into it. The character on the box art was actually Chaos from the Sonic Series.
With the ways of modding roms there are many games like this. I have played at least one of them like the fan GBA remake to Gold and Silver but I have no clue how people are able to sell these games as GB/GBC/GBA cartridges. o_o
ChaosBlack is definitely one of my favorite Pokemon romhacks. I haven't played in a while, but I might some time if I can find it again.
Depends where you go. I had a friend who bought a Pokemon game while on holiday in Greece, I think, (Many years ago) incredibly cheap and she couldn't figure out why she couldn't save her game. Turned out it was a fake. To be fair, it did look like a proper GBC cartridge. They can be very clever at making them appear real. The Pokemon Diamond and Jade, however, is just hilarious. Never played them but I really want to just for the lulz.
well i didn't know this is a fake or not but my friend say it fake i play pokemon call "dragonstone" it like a real to me only it change some of the word,pokemon,and also the character spinning when they run
I actually bought a jade version....worst buy ever. Game never saved, first scene is you getting hit by a baseball, pokemon were "caught" only if they randomly gave you their phone number after a battle.
xDDD I wouldn't pay to play it but I would certain like to have a go. Sounds hilarious. xD Game Freak could pick up some pointers.
I remember seeing a game called "Pokemon Cupcake" or something that said it combined Pokemon with Disney Princesses. I was five. It broke my Game Boy. ;;
