Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust

OOC: Just so you know, Peter won't be picking up William. Hook will.

BIC: Peter watched as the frazzled boy took Rebecca's hand and rose to the air once again. His sharply green eyes danced with laughter as he watched David try a second and then third and then fourth time to stay in the air. By the fourth try, he had it down pat.
Tinker Bell was the first to fly off. She stopped several feet away and waved for the others to follow.
"Let's go," Peter smiled from ear to ear. Another great adventure was about to begin, and he just couldn't wait. Besides, he'd been away from Neverland for a while; it must have been getting rather boring for the Lost Boys. Peter was all about having fun, boring just wouldn't do for him or any one he was in charge of.

 

OOC: okey dokey, i was just wondering about that actually :)

BIC: Rebecca had a hard time holding onto David the few times he fell again but when he was flying, she let him go and clapped him on the back with a cheer. It felt like how things used to be with them execpt something seemed to be missing. If Rebecca had taken the time to think about it, she would have realized what was missing was William, the third member of the trio. Unfortunetly, she didn't take the time to think of it, she was flying to Neverland.

 

Peter laughed, flying through the air with Tinker Bell right by his shoulder. He led Rebecca and David around roof tops and chimneys. Lights were still on in some windows that he passed by, but Peter didn't care very much if anyone saw him. In fact, he'd like it if someone did; more stories of him would be passed around!

David's confidence began to build up. Following Peter's movements was practice enough for the time being. But after he lost his slippers on a spinning loop, he decided not to try any more loops.

 

Rebecca watched them loop around for awhile before giving it a try herself. When they were near a tall building she put her hand out to the roof and used it to propel her body around in a tight sumersault. When she finally regained her blance and flight she was laughing uncontrolably and totally dizzy. "Are we nearly there?" she asked, after seeing a light turn on from her noise and quieting down.

 

"Take a hold of this," Peter said to David, after a short nod to Rebecca. His foot was right in David's face. The boy's grimace reminded him very much of John. So he told David what he had said to John, with much delight and mocking, side-ways smile, "Both hands."

David reluctantly wrapped his hands around Peter's ankle. It was rather dirty, as were his feet and hands, and David didn't like the feeling of dirt between his fingers.

"Pass it on," Peter continued over his shoulder. Tinker Bell stuck close to Peter, glancing only once back at David and Rebecca. She frowned at Rebecca. Maybe, if she was careful not to let Peter find out, she could get rid of Rebecca they way she'd tried with Wendy. Even the fairy hadn't forgotten about how much she disliked Wendy.

"Rebecca, hold on to my ankle," David called back. He flet a bit of unwillingness at those words. After all, he was now barefoot too; but at least his feet were clean.

 

Rebecca grabbed hold of his ankle tightly. "David, 'dirt don't hurt'." she quoted, knowing by his expression, voice, and a long friendship how much he didn't want dirt on his hands.

 

OOC: I hope Hook is ready to be written! :D

BIC: "Whatever happens," Peter looked to Tinker Bell and nodded. Then he continued to the other two, "Don't. Let. Go!" The world changed then. Blinding lights and strong wind enclosed around them all.

David held on tighter to Peter's ankle. It was such a thrill, all the noises, speed, and lights. He found himself laughing away with Peter. The only things he could see through all the pink, orange, yellow, light blue, gold, silver, and green was the star growing closer and closer.

Peter was the first to burst through the light, Tinker Bell along with him. The chain of kids was broken. Peter floated down to the water and, flying on his back and looking at David and Rebecca, he ran a hand through the water. He loved making tracks in the brine of the surface. In the distance, the island of Neverland could be seen.

 

Rebecca gasped faintly as they traveled, captivated by the star's brilliance. Her heart raced faster and faster until they broke through. Looking down at Peter and Tink she realized where they were. "Neverland!" she practicly shouted, grabbing David by the shoulder and shaking him while pointing at the approching island. Her head turned every which way, trying to take it all in.

 

"Up this way!" Peter called as he flew straight up. Even from this distance, one could see the ice cracking near shore and the frozen snow-ice melting on land. Peter wanted to get into the clouds. He wanted to sneak up on Hook.

"I see it, Rebecca," David smiled. Flying was no problem now; David had nothing but happy thoughts. He flew upwards after Peter and Tinker Bell, looking back over his shoulder to make sure that Rebecca wouldn't fall behind.

"And keep it quiet," Peter said, pushing a fluff of clouds out of his way. The outcoming sun's rays shone more freely now that those few clouds floated away. "We're going to sneak up on that old codfish."

 

Rebecca took another quick look around before following the boys. She and David exchanged a quick look, knowing exactly who Peter meant. "Is he really here?" she whispered, hiding with the others.

 

Tinker Bell nodded at Rebecca and shook her fist in the air. She liked to torture Hook as much as Peter did. It was all a great game to the both of them. But neither knew if Hook took it seriously or not.
"Ha! Yeah, he's always waiting around for me," Peter laughed, sitting on a cloud once they were close enough to the Jolly Roger. "But he's never won a round yet. I'll show you how it's done."

David plopped onto the cloud, sitting next to Peter. "Can his cannons reach us this close?"

"Probably," Peter shrugged. It didn't bother him one bit. Hook's cannon balls were slow and easy to avoid.

 

Rebecca gave him a puzzled look. "They can?" she asked, "What if they fire at us? I don't think David and I can fly away that fast, even if you two can." she had a feeling this line of reasoning wasn't going to convince him.

 

Peter thought back to what had happened with Wendy and her brothers. Back then, they'd been split up. Of course, Peter didn't know what had happened to Michael, John, or Wendy; he'd gone and had fun distracting Hook from firing again. It had been a good match; he'd tricked Hook into shooting down his own mast. Even as he flew away, Hook had yelled after him that he would get revenge for what Peter had done.
"Aw, he can't even seen us up here," Peter waved his hand dismissively.

 

Rebecca remembered the story about her grandmother and grandmother's brothers being blown out of the sky and sighed. He really has a bad memory. she decided with a shrug. Then she peeked over the cloud again, hoping to catch a glimpse of the imfamous Hook. She knew Peter was famous for his fights with the captin but she had always dreampt of being the one to cross blades with the old codfish.

 

"Cap'n," Smee knocked on the door the cabin of the captain of the Jolly Roger. He entered the cabin, knowing better than to wait for a reply. "Cap'n, the ice is melting and the snow is gone from the shore. Alf Mason reported a strange occurance in the clouds, they was moving fast and awkward, they was."

OOC: Captain Hoooook? Where aaaaare you??

 

OOC: good god you women have serious patience issues! argh... lol

BIC: Captain Hook looked up slowly from under his large, feathered hat with a crooked frown on his face.

"Why, Mr. Smee," he began in a very slow, dangerous tone, "are you tell me... about the weather?!"

 

OOC: FINALLY! heehee, we love ya! promise!

 

OOC: ha ha... you said "argh".... like a pirate. jolly good, mate. xD

BIC: "He's back, Cap'n," Smee hurried to say as he cringed away from Hook's anger. "Peter Pan is back in Neverland."

"Peter, are you sure that Captain Hook--" David began to ask his question but was cut off by Peter.

"Shh," Peter hushed quickly. "You see that? Smee just went into Hook's cabin. I bet the Lost Boy's hideout that he'll be out soon." Peter laughed joyfully. It had been nearly a week since he'd been able to hear Hook yell at him as he flew away, victorious once again. He couldn't wait to get the old codfish riled up.

 

Rebecca's eyes were glued to the cabin door, waiting impatently. The pirates were just like they'd imagined in their games execpt louder and better.

 

Captain Hook raised one eyebrow, staring down at Smee as if looks could kill. "Pan is back?" he repeated, his voice surprisingly calm. "That explains the clouds... you idiot!" he ended suddenly in a scream, sending a swift kick into Smee's bottom, hurling him out the cabin door and onto the deck face first. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Hook strode out of his cabin, making sure to step on poor Smee as he went by. "All of you!" he exclaimed angrily to all the pirates on deck, scanning the sky for the mysterious-moving clouds... and found them. "Pan is back, you useless pigs! Fire all cannons at those clouds or I'll cut you all up into little pieces and feed you to the dogs!"
