Failing

I'm not failing any classes, but from what I remember, the more I liked the teacher, the more higher grade average I would have. It's really just about the student's surroundings, like the teacher,classmates, and even the things around the classroom (like posters can be VERY helpful sometimes lol) I have all honors/gifted and talented classes except for one, and it's more hard to pay attention when I have kids that won't shut the hell up in my one general class. I've only failed Spanish though...probably because the teacher would call in sick all the time so we would only have her like ten days, and the rest of the days would be subbed by teachers who didn't know Spanish...and so, we only had like three tests...which I totally failed all.

 

Yeah, I only do bad in a class the more I hate the teacher or subject or both haha :3

 

I've always done my class work and homework, but when it comes to tests...I just fail.
Luckily, the class work, homework, and labs that I do help me pass my subjects.
I'm like a B student, but I'm getting nervous about SAT's.

 

well why i think people fail is cuz they skip and don't do squat and don't study haha like me but i don't do the first two and i barely pass my tests with C+'s and still get like a B on my report card cuz i get my stuff in haha​

I'm glad you are asking because that shows willingness. Teachers love that. They want you to succeed. Stay after school and ask questions. They should let you.

 

I am not having trouble in any subjects Sho.

I am just wondering how people fail,I know teachers.
They love it when you bother to care about school at all.

 

I usually make A's and B's in my classes; but recently, I have been failing because I keep missing a lot of school.

I only miss school because of medical issues, so just because someone is failing a class, doesn't mean that they're lazy, that just they are behind or stuck on a subject.

 

I wish I could miss school once in awhile, but my mom makes me go when I'm sick, sometimes.

I see what you mean, but she just wants you to not miss too many days and get behind in your classes.

 

One thing i do detest, is that my teacher goes and answers super difficult excersises, and expects us to do the work.

I've got A's in all classes and in math atleast i've risen my grade but atleast staying in C is turning out to be a pain.

one thing that really bothered me : the other day....our teacher said "you've got material for 3 tests already" and placed the subject for each one.

so, i had been absent for 2 days or so, and they mention we have test 2 days away....from a new material.....he skipped the material i killed my self for to study and mastered....and was going to give a test in 2 days, i had to start studying from scratch....a new material.

and then there's the assingments....we have to bring in 10 excersices everyday...to get a signature that counts for a grade....and that sucks...my friend(who is the smartest in class) gets the material in 1 hour....and the rest of the grade is according to our teacher "failing willingly" because we don't practice(how can we practice something you barely explain!?)

oh and the teacher barely follows the book...so we might not be doing the excersices how "he wants" them , and the book barely explains anything....so half the studying is looking for definitions for the fancy words the book uses....and trying to understand.

I almost raised hell in my classroom, how could he skip the test i had worked so hard for!?.

and when i did my smarty pants friend was like "this is so easy..i'll explain it to you, so stop complaining"(which he never does correctly)

it was like no one else cared about it....i complain because the teacher "explains"(barely) the material in 1 hour and then asks "when do you want to take the test?"

no one complains....except me, and when more than half of the grade gets F in their test they do start crying.

i don't feel bad for then(they didn't complain, it's their mistake)

i feel bad for myself, because i do find things unfair, say them, and the ppl who are likely to get F's because of such a rushed test date don't complain.

that drives me crazy, and more my friend who is always whinning because he doesn't have 4.00 in a class( he has 3.80), and is always telling me , i'm an idiot for not understanding the material as quick as he does.


oh, i've made such a long post XD.

but in conclusion...that's how you fail a class.

I think people fail either because a) they are just plain stupid and their intelligence isn't high enough for the class they are in |: b) they put absolutely little or no effort into the work they do and laze around in class, even though they have the potential for good marks.

 

That's good.Mrs Obvious.Most people are too stupid for german class, but I know kids that are failing band.;D
Not me don't worry.
And i think flute is one of the hardest and I've been told because you have to have a certain GPA to take it and it's the only instrument you don't see your hands.Or one of the only instruments anyway.

 

Some people just aren't born musical though, and are destined to fail at music class/band whatever you call it there xD

Oh, well not my band/music class all you have to do it participate,be on time and be prepared.Not to hard.It doesn't matter if you suck.

I'm failing most of my classes because I don't do the homework :[

Latin is rly alot harder that you'd think :O

 

I passed all my classes with B's and C's and i failed french with a D....I hate french. She's SOOOOOOOO boring. I grasp it really well, but when tests come. She expects us to remember a buch of stuff when we just started taking the class (this class is not an elective, it's took art's place. I had A's in Art history)

 

D is not Failing it's BARELY PASSING.
French is hard,but not as hard as German.I got a B+ in German -_-'

 

I mean, french isnt that hard, but it's just the teacher is so boring. She just rambles on and on, she can make it a bit interesting.
