My mom's has had a slightly new design for a while now, and I've yet to receive it. The differences are in the header and the notifications you get in the bottom-left that someone commented on your post, liked your post, etc. Mine: On hers it's essentially the same, but the header is a darker blue, her profile picture is to the left of her name, and the order is Name, Home, Find Friends. Also, the friend requests, inbox, and alerts icons are to the right, but I don't remember if the lock and gear icons were different.
That's because they don't care about you or the few others anymore ever since they bought the oculus rift. You are 2nd rate now.
Well, I guess I'm Amaury's mom, then. :/ But anyway, since I use my FB in a different language, it also took me a while to get it updated. I think it might be one of the many glitches that doesn't let it go to the new style immediately.
Not so much a glitch, as it's a rolling update. It's the same reason why people get alerts of the new Mozilla Firefox version at different times.
Mine updated yesterday and everything is way too scrunched together. I actually still have a tab with the old Facebook open, lol.
