Well, since the movement goes back and forth it gives me the impression that the (mael)storm isn't spinning into the center - it's more like it's breathing/inhaling, in and out, like a live creature. Making it spin all the way would take more work tho if I recall it right. But now that I spotted them, what's the white stuff in the far left and right edges?
Well, it's rather cool looking =3 However there are some white spots on the edges you should get rid of, and the animation isn't consistent (there's a point where the text just appears without the fade). I also don't like the text you used one bit >.> That could just be me, but it's a rather dull text. Try adding some more color to it and such, and changing the font. Other than that (and bear with me here as I know next to nothing about image editing), you could try making it a bit more interesting if you wanted, like something akin to flashes of lightning or some color to go in there (maybe later, as you seem to not have the time to do it now?). -Shrug- I dunno, just a suggestion.
Get rid of the white spots, to do that simple crop it a little, change the font please, furthermore, in one part of the animation, the text appeared two times.
Yeah, it did this funky thing, and made it on it's own. I'm not sure if I'm going to be working on .gif, because I honestly don't like them that much. :/
