Kingdom Hearts II Eye color in Kingdom Hearts

Ive noticed that eye color plays some part in kingdom hearts. Obviously orange means you are evil (alluded riku's eyes, saix, xemnas, xigbar) But ive also noticed that alot of peoples eyes are green (everyone in CoM) Larxene, Axel, Vexen. Does anyone know the purpose of eye color and the role it plays that can explain it to me? Ive thought alot about this but have come up with nothing but orange=darkness.

 

Yellow: Dark road
Blue: Light road
Green: Twilight road
Brown: No road

I read that Xaldin has purple eye colours.

.. Does that mean something?

 

In CoM, Marluxia, Larxene, Lexaeus & Zexion = Blue eyes :)

 

The Nobodies aren't on any road, including Organization XIII. Their eye color probably indicates what "road" they were on when they were whole.

I thought it was odd how Sora~Roxas and Kairi~Namine didn't have the same color. I figured it would have been one of those things where you can see their connection through their eyes.

 

I thought they all had blue eyes.... just a different shade... but still blue....

I do notice that alot , blue seems to be around a lot .

But the young Xehanort , the one in the lab coat , has brown eyes .

It's just eye color. I don't think it makes a difference.

 

I agree, I don't think it has anything to do with what road they take.

 

In a Manga-based style of art, eye colour often indicates the personality of the character, much like hair colour. So... other than that, I don't see any significance to the eye colour.

... Other than the fact that Nomura has a blue eye... obsession. Owo;

 

It's just simple eye colors.
Don't put too much "THEORY" in it.

 

From what I know, most green-eyed and blue-eyed people usually end up as the heros and the other characters of the bunch just get forgotten or turned into enemies. This means that since my eyes are teal, I would be a hero. What do you think?

 

I don't really think the eye color had much of anything to do with what -roads- people were on. The only significant eye color seemed to be the amber color of those who were linked in with Darkness, which also the Heartless had the yellow glowing eyes so it made sense. Sora's and Kairi's eyes to me were blue, as were Namine's. Larxene's and Axel's eyes were brilliant green. Riku had the oddest eyes to me as his were an aquamarine color that were unique from everyone else's, but in the end I don't think that their eye color is that important. The only ones that were important were those that were an amber hue which was a tell-tale sign of Darkness being tied with them. Perhaps I'm wrong though but green and blue eyes were rather common in the game so I never put too much thought in that.

 

Same here. I think you guys might be overthinking the eye color ordeal... I don't think eye color is that important

 

The reason I think this is an issue is because I was reading the thread on the secret ending and someone pointed out the character at the end's eye color. They go from brown and as he becomes more angry his eyes change to orange/amber. Also, Riku's blindfold is there because his eyes cant lie, he shows he has been using darkness. Since eye color has importance in that respect, I feel that eye color has to be important throughout. I dont think it would only apply to one color and not the rest.
