now that i look back on my thread, i agree that i was overreacting. i still think that calling things ******ed or gay can be offensive and you should be aware of who is arround you when you say it.

When I say something is gay, I mean like stup. Ex.

" Man, this dress code is gay."

When I say gay, it means stupid.

Originally, ******ed meant "held back" or "slow".
And gay meant "happy".

Words these days have multiple meanings.
For example, I could say someone's gay and I could mean they're happy.

"I'm going to emo in the corner now." =/= "I'm going to emotional hardcore in the corner now."

yes!!! i do understand how word meaning changes... i think that using gay and ******ed in the afore mentioned contexts is offensive but you are sertainly intitled to your oppionion. does anyone agree with me? Dx

yeah you are kinda right... i was being a bit touchy. i have a neighbor who is mentally ******ed and he is one of the nicest people i know. i know a lot of people who say thats ******ed or thats gay don't mean to offend anyone. it just gets under my skin.
